My name is Viktoriia, and I'm originally from Ternopil Oblast, a small village in a remote rural area. Currently, I'm studying at the international high school, UWC Maastricht, in the Netherlands.

I was so excited when I got my acceptance letter for the program, and it's such an awesome, rewarding, and unique experience so far! My mentor is a source of expertise and my biggest supporter, so this comprehensive path to getting into top US universities is way more confident and less stressful.

They took our wishes into account and skillfully matched each mentee with mentors who aligned with our career ambitions, the location where we want to study, and our academic background, so it's a really great fit that makes our relationship meaningful and very insightful.

BraveGen is doing a fantastic job providing resources and in-depth knowledge of the application and preparation process, including individual advice and useful feedback.

Absolutely everyone at BraveGeneration is genuinely eager to help and super friendly, so this community is very warm. My peers are amazing and inspiring, which constantly motivates me to achieve the best results.

This summer, I had the opportunity to work alongside an incredible group of passionate individuals dedicated to helping rebuild Ukraine’s future. Through the Impact UA internship, we attended lectures at the Ukrainian Catholic University, participated in cultural workshops, and explored Lviv. As part of the program, I also worked with the Ridni Charitable Foundation, a non-profit organization, to survey international audiences and raise awareness about orphanhood in Ukraine. This experience strengthened my sense of purpose and showed me how collective efforts, even on a small scale, can create meaningful change. I would gladly take part again next summer if the opportunity arises.

I had an amazing experience with Brave Generation through their ImpactUA program. The three-week internship in Ukraine was incredibly well-organized, combining meaningful work experience with engaging cultural activities.

A huge shoutout to Tanya, who organized the entire program and led all the online meetings. She was always available to answer questions and guide us through every step, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Her dedication and support really made a difference and ensured that the internship was not only educational but also fun and inspiring.

I had the most precious experience with Brave Generation through EmpowerHer program, which focuses on helping young people with their academic pursuits. You won't find anything better than what they give their participants: mentorship, information sessions with alumni/current students from top universities, mental health support, language exams preparation, and many more.

Hello! I'm Olha. I am 21 years old, studying psychology, and currently researching PTSD interventions. My goal is to continue with a Master’s degree in clinical psychology.

When I joined Brave Generation, I discovered much more than a program. I found a space where I feel supported, understood, and guided. The team helped me prepare for IELTS, connected me with experts who truly understand the admissions process, and offered psychological support at times when I felt under too much pressure. These conversations and meetings gave me knowledge and confidence I could not have reached on my own.

I am especially grateful to my mentor Anastasiia from Cambridge. She has been present through the entire process and always finds a way to steady me when I start doubting myself. She never leaves me alone with my worries and helps me see the next step forward when I cannot see it myself. Her presence has been a source of both guidance and reassurance.

What also makes this experience special is the community. I have met people here who inspire me, challenge me, and make me feel part of something meaningful. It is a place where you grow not only by working toward your goals but also by being surrounded by others who believe in you and share their journeys openly.

I am deeply thankful to be part of Brave Generation. For me, it is not just about preparing applications but about having people who stand beside you and remind you that you are capable of more than you thought.

Not only did I receive support with my applications to different universities from exceptional people and a fully covered preparation course for IELTS, but I also made a lot of friends both among mentees and mentors, worked on interesting projects, and met really accomplished people.

I am studying now at the best university in Sweden in one of the most competitive Master’s programs with a full-ride scholarship from the Swedish government. Without the guidance, I wouldn’t have been accepted to Yale and Columbia - something I had never imagined could happen to me.

My name is Anastasiia. I'm from a small mining town called Dniprorudne, located in southern Ukraine, which is currently occupied. I'm 21 years old and have just finished my bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering at the best technical university in Ukraine. I've been involved in Brave Generation's activities from May 2025 to September 2025. This program has given me incredible opportunities. In addition to improving my English skills for the TOEFL and taking psychology courses, we had meetings with inspiring Ukrainian women who have achieved great success in diplomatic missions and in developing their own initiatives. I joined Brave Generation because I want to enroll in a foreign university and continue my research started in Ukraine. Additionally, I was part of workshops that helped me gain power in my voice and overcome my fear of public speaking. And the most brilliant thing the program gave our cohort was webinars about writing a CV/resume and a letter of recommendation. Brave Generation has been extremely useful to me, and I hope that after studying abroad, I'll be able to continue helping Ukrainians as a biomedical engineer.
