An amazing experience! There was so much variety of experiences throughout the weekend, it was so well organised as well, everything was set out and planned so meticulously, I’ll be there for it again next year for sure. The breath work unlocked something inside me and gave me exactly what I wanted from the weekend, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone that’s looking to set themselves on a new path in life. Johannes and his team are the ultimate professionals and I feel so fortunate to have spent the weekend in the their presence.

I recently took part in a men’s expedition in the snowy mountains of Australia with Breathless, and it was truly transformational. From cold plunges to hiking snow-covered peaks, every experience was powerful, but the real shift happened inside.

The Breathless team was exceptional in every way, skilled, supportive, and deeply present. The breathwork sessions were life-changing. They helped me uncover how I’ve been keeping men at a distance, including my own 11-year-old son. His love for
me is strong and pure, but I realized
I’ve been holding back, afraid he might one day disappoint me like
others have.

This journey helped me break that pattern. I opened my heart, embraced vulnerability, and felt the strength that
comes from true connection. I now see that there are men who will show up, and that my son deserves all of me, without the weight of my past.

I’m so grateful for this experience. If you’re ready to do real inner work, Breathless will take you there.

I had some idea what to expect as I had been on a similiar retreat last year, done some breathwork and love cold exposure however my experience of the breathless snow expedition was absolutely amazing, beyond imaginable, rewarding, challenging, breathtaking, nourishing and I learnt so much. It has impacted me so much on my journey of healing and growth.
I felt so safe and held by Johannes and the breathless facilitators. I was able to let go, open up to strangers and felt so held and loved by all. I made some beautiful connections and I loved all the in between chats which I learnt so much from.

I recently completed the Breathless retreat in the Snowy Mountains.. Yeah Wow, what an experience! From the support of the facilitators to the support of the Men in the group, we all pushed each other both physically, spiritually and mentally.. From cold plunging, hiking across the mountains, breathwork and sauna. It was great to be held in such a safe space whilst pushing myself way out of my comfort zone.. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone with a growth mindset and who needs a shift in their consciousness. I will continue my breathwork journey and looking forward to what unfolds. What an experience over the weekend, definitely an eye opener it made me fine my purpose in life and where I belong especially hiking in the blizzard. I felt really safe because the facilitators just held just a loving and safe space for all of us men, it’s too hard to describe all of my experience I recommend people come to explore this experience themselves !

I recently joined a men’s expedition weekend with Breathless Expeditions at Crackenback, and it’s difficult to put into words just how transformational the experience was.

This wasn’t just an outdoor adventure. It was a powerful internal shift. I broke through mental barriers I hadn’t even realised were holding me back. I did things I never imagined I could, like jumping into a freezing river while it was snowing or walking barefoot across burning charcoal at over 400°C. But what really changed me was the mindset transformation.

No matter the weather or challenge, our group showed up, pushed through, and supported one another. I stopped giving myself excuses and faced where I was truly falling short. What made the experience so impactful were the incredible instructors: Johannes, Ernie, Ben, Brad, Brendan, and Arthur. Each one of them brought something unique to the table. They listened with intent, challenged us with care, and held space for us to grow. Their guidance and presence were everything.

While there’s a ticket price to be part of the trip, the real value can’t be measured in dollars. This isn’t just a weekend away, it’s an experience that shifts your perspective and stays with you for life. I came back a changed man, more grounded, more focused, and more connected.

If you’re even slightly considering it, just go. You’ll thank yourself for it.

Johannes and the crew at Breathless are by far some of the best at what they do. I've attended expeditions with them in the past and this time returned to do breathwork instructor training. Not only are this team in depth with the science and understanding of breathwork, they foster such a powerful culture of genuine care and safety for all involved. This was once again an incredible experience and I've left feeling equipped and empowered to support others on their breathing journey, understanding how to do this work safely, and knowing I'm supported by the best.

Johannes made the learning so easy to understand, Sometimes when I’m learning it goes through one ear and out the other but he actually makes it stick! It was truly the most beautiful, life changing experience and I will truly hold it and the people I met close to my heart! 11/10 would recommend!

This is by far the best course I have done in any field! This breathwork course should be the first course before any health, fitness, mental health or nutrition course anyone should do. This is the fundamentals and foundations to life and helping people. Johannes and his team are absolutely amazing and couldn’t recommend more!

Everything from beginning to end was positive. The modules were informative and taught to an excellent standard, I felt incredibly prepared for our trip away to the mountains. The in person training exceeded all my expectations, I have made friends for life and feel confident to start teaching breath and also investing in my own practice. What a weekend! The learning in the Facilitator Training was concise and set out in way that progressed seamlessly. I had the most heart connected weekend in the beautiful Snowies. The food was delish & accommodation was so comfy. I would do it all again !

Incorporating evidence based and ancient techniques with passion, skill and support and practical application. Which is unfortunately a rarity these days. Followed by comprehensive ongoing support and learning if you feel the desire for ongoing learning and refining your skills. Johannes is charismatic and an excellent teacher who shows such passion to make the world and humanity a better place through evidence based education and healing. To top it off the location for the practical is divine, set in the picturesque NSW snowy mountains. Our course had International and Australia wide students and was definitely worth the travel. I rate this course as invaluable if you are considering to be a breathwork practitioner.

I loved the instructor training, it felt like a full immersive retreat but with the added benefit of learning and connecting with like minded people!! I think the way Johannes teaches breathwork is world class!
