Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 123 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. People frequently struggled with payment problems, unexpected fees charged when dates failed to happen, and accounts being frozen arbitrarily without clear explanations. Customers also strongly complained about inconvenient date locations, poorly functioning matching algorithms, and frustrating communication barriers throughout the entire process. Though some people found the unique concept refreshing and much easier to use for intentional dating. Users deeply appreciated the straightforward approach that successfully avoids endless messaging and helps people discover interesting new places together. They felt it saved time compared to traditional platforms and offered a fun way to meet serious singles in person.

Raise a complaint? Get banned.

I raised a complaint about their system and how they are making people pay an extra £4-£9 before they can purchase a package. A feature designed it seems to extract more money from people - their response was to ban my account and tell me my profile didn’t clearly show who I was - I have multiple close pictures of myself on my account. It was really hostile as a response for raising a legitimate problem. If I had used aggressive language I’d get it.

Honestly so thoughtless with the booking system. Always arranging a location miles and miles away from where either of you live, with zero consideration for either party. Also if you date cancels, they don’t give you your £9.50 back- just a token. F that, I’d rather my nearly £10 back. Absolutely joke. Plus all the drink options as these fancy cocktail bars they send you to are the cheapest options where the wine tastes like warm battery acid. Just don’t both with it

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Shame on these con men who do this. This is worst than all of the other dating apps. These people have single handedly ruined dating. They maniplute their users.

The customer service department actively lye to you, beware.

I can understand the negative reviews, the app kept putting profile in front of me that aren't suitable, for example I state I don't want kids, yet it matched me with profiles that stated they want kids, I should of checked their profile more carefully, but that was an awkward conversation, I got frozen for 2 days when I cancelled that date, we got to 4 hours before and then she said oh I most have kids. Next issue was the app clicked match with someone I had no interest in, so I cancelled, got a 3 day suspension. Customer service lie about the fact they can't unfreeze you, they can. I won't like companies that promote lying to their customer base, so I deleted my profile and then amazingly I got unfrozen.

Love the concept!

Love the concept. Luckily I've had zero cancellarions once matched. Really like the idea of breeze supporting bars/venues especially after covid. This app is made for open minded people who work/live in a city who dont mind travelling up to an hour for a date. The only feedback I would give is it would be nice to choose the venue as I've been to the same one on a couple of occasions. Would be nice to mix it up a bit but all in all it's a breath of fresh air. No small talk before dates. Concept allows you to express yourself as youre meeting face to face. £9 for a date is more than ok as breeze is a business and has to make money. The bar also has to make money plus first drink is free so margins are thin.

I am so confused by the negative reviews!

Online dating is a minefield, this makes it a lot easier and more meetings in person which is a good thing in my book

Help desk has always been so supportive

It makes me feel confident if someone has the orange badge, as this also shows someone else had a good experience with them

I can’t recommend enough in all honesty

No customer service

I closed my account while I still had some money in, I didn't receive a confirmation my account had been closed, I tried to email them to have my money back and they don't reply.

Men give this app a wide birth

Men give this sure a wide birth

Black breeze badge in a woman’s profile is between 3/5 dates they have already been on and they have given those men zero chance and haven’t left the breeze app after 5 plus dates ( Heard it here first after chat with breeze employee )

App barely works with constant app bugs so whole thing is total waste of everyone’s time

People with dares and more badges are prioritised with pretty profiles escalated

App heavily focused on London woman can’t be bothered to meet anyone outside of London

Dump the app isn’t worth £2 a date let alone £4.50

Breeze using third party software as well so there relying on others to update the app

Now breeze social dating app want to get rid of safer walk and talk dates

Pubs/bars cancelling partnerships left right and centre I hear as well that’s why app sends you half way across London for dates

A Masterclass in Digital Frustration

A Masterclass in Digital Frustration
I've used a lot of apps in my life, but I can honestly say that my experience with Breeze has been the single most frustrating and bewildering digital experience I've ever had. It's a true masterclass in how not to design a user-friendly product.
I painstakingly updated my profile, filled in every detail, and uploaded my best pictures. The app even confirmed my profile was "verified" and "complete." Yet, every time I opened it, I was hit with the same nagging notification: "You need to update your profile." What is there to update? It’s all there! It felt like the app was actively gaslighting me, and I was stuck in a never-ending loop of digital futility.
But the real kicker was when the app decided to put my perfectly good, verified profile into "sleep mode" for no reason at all. And the solution to this was so incredibly stupid it almost defies belief: I had to delete and re-upload the exact same pictures just to wake it back up. My photos, which were apparently good enough to be verified in the first place, were now suddenly invalid. It's a completely nonsensical punishment for... well, for using the app, I guess.
Breeze isn't a dating app, it's an obstacle course designed by someone who hates people. Every step is a pointless hurdle, and every interaction is a dead end. I'm not just deleting this app, I'm actively considering therapy to recover from the sheer, unadulterated frustration it caused. Save yourself the headache and stay far, far away.

As others have mentioned toned the…

As others have mentioned toned the location the app sets for you are mostly really bad. The last few dates I’d had were at a place 2 minuets walk from me, but miles away from my date! So when you try to fix this your self you get issues and end up not meeting. The app needs to sort this out.

Also, their AI is too quick to freeze accounts and act strangely, but it’s easy to speak to a human who sets it right.

Generally I like the concept of breeze, it’s a step in the right direction for dating apps but it has a long way to go and ultimately, it’s still dating so people are going to be an issue still.

I tried to join this app because I liked the sound of the concept of not endless chit chat or texting but actually meeting up. The app would not let me complete my profile kept asking for update for no reason after reading the negative reviews I think I got away lightly so deleted my profile I haven't come across a genuine dating app which doesn't want your money.

Oh no this is so bad, is it a scam?

The app kept sending me on dates in a whole different city than the one I live in (I didn't request this) when I cancelled the dates because they were too far to travel the app kept freezing me for 6 days! They wouldn't refund me or unfreeze me (if the customer service chat isn't an AI they should prob get an AI cos it would do a better job.) When it did send me on a date in my city it was always to the same bar which was v awkward. Feels like a scam. Waste of time and money, wouldn't bother unless you want to lose money!

🚫 Unsafe and Desperate Concept — Avoid Breeze!

Breeze is built on a fundamentally dangerous and irresponsible concept: matching people for real-life dates without any prior messaging. You literally meet someone you've never exchanged a word with. This doesn’t just feel desperate—it’s potentially unsafe and dangerous, crazy

There's zero screening, no chance to detect red flags, incompatible values, or even basic safety checks through conversation. In a time when personal safety should be a priority, especially in dating, Breeze seems to ignore all common-sense precautions.

This app might appeal to those chasing spontaneity, but in reality, it’s a high-risk model disguised as innovation. I strongly recommend avoiding it. The app could organise your date with someone dangerous this is insane what Is happening, this app is the lack straw in dating without putting any effort at all , not even one words exchanged how insane.

Self organized date

When the location is set by Breeze, it works fine.
When you live far from Breeze locations it is possible to organise yourself the location by sending a message to the help desk. After that the proces is chaotic as their software cannot handle this. And you are unable to communicate with the matched person.

Really bad app

Really bad app. The idea is good, the execution is awful.

The main issue is that the profile formats are super limiting, so it’s difficult to get enough information to trust an in-person first meeting. On top of that, there is very little filtering for preference, so the tiny match pool you are given every day (unsurprisingly) turns up very few good matches. And then, it turns out not to be particularly representative of the person. Case in point: I matched with someone who seemed to have similar areas of interest on the limited information available, only to spend an entire evening with someone who turned out to be a raging misogynist with totalitarian political beliefs. It felt unsafe at worst, and a total waste of time at best.

And then there is the problem with date locations. Breeze selects for you, so you end up in cringe venues that just don’t work for a first date. A basement karaoke bar at full volume just ain’t the place for a conversation. Come on Breeze, it’s not rocket science!

Also inaccessible venues in terms of sound levels, and only reached down flights of stairs etc. It’s not a welcoming app for anyone with access needs.

And on top of all of that, the app loves to nag you and tell you off (or just remove your money from you or ban you if you can’t make the date or your schedule changes).

For this to work, the app would need to:

- have proper, long profile formats, and require users to share plenty of information
- have a much better matching algorithm and filter options
- allow users to choose date locations
- stop hectoring users about proper dating etiquette, and allow for the flexibility that a busy professional life requires.

Absolutely awful dating app

Absolutely awful dating app. I've never put so much effort in to my profile. Amazing photos, different angles, one with a full body shot and others doing different activities. I actually put effort in to their brain dead prompts and turned them in to something funny or mysteriously engaging.

Yet... Within 24hrs my account got suspended for my photos not being "clear" enough. My face just wasn't clear enough or some total utter nonsense. One photo was slightly out of focus, but there were certainly more than enough ultra high quality photos with my face fully clear from multiple angles. No filters, no nonsense.
Yes, I wore a hoody in some, but even then my face was absolutely unobscured and on full display in at least two of them.

Breeze, are you absolutely completely out of your minds? Are your moderators so blind or perhaps petty that you push away users so easily? Did they feel threatened by me? Who knows. Maybe just an overzealous AI did it.

I think they truly want to destroy all sense of authenticity and character. If you don't fit their boring little sterilized mold, you're going get problems.

Either way, You won't ever be seeing a single cent from me!

Ah. Screw it. These type of apps are all godawful and I have enough success irl. Why'd I even bother.

Good on paper, terrible execution

The concept of the app is good, but it creates more problems than it aims to resolve.

The idea of the app setting dates for you takes some of the burden of logistics, but it also encourages emotional unavailability and low effort from your dates. I kid you not when I say that I've had some of my worst dates on this app purely because the chat opens 2 hours before the actual date and there's no way to do a quick vibe check without being locked in on a date nobody will enjoy!

The app also has a review process at the end of each date, which again is supposed to encourage good behaviour, but it doesn't stop your dates from giving you a 1-star which to Breeze it means they reported you. If you get 2 of those then your account gets banned with no way to appeal it.
