Phoenix VI unit 6113

This unit is convenient for coming straight in from the parking lot. However the carpeting in the bedrooms is very worn out...Desperately needs replacing. The clothes dryer take long time to dry loads. Pleased with the staff here.

…disappointed

I received an email 2 days before my stay saying there will be construction n the balcony may not be available, it was too late to try to find another place to stay. You couldn’t spend much time in the room during the day due to noise. Balcony was not available. Also I was told I would get a 25% discount and would be credited to my card, 6 days later never happened. I sent emails about it with no responses

WITH NO WARNING WE PAID OVER $5,000+…

WITH NO WARNING WE PAID OVER $5,000+ WALKED INTO THIS:
We would like to caution all those thinking of renting from Brett/Robinson Vacation Rentals. And here is why, we rented a condo on the seaside on the first floor and the day we moved in the building was under rehabilitations, the elevator was full of dust and dirt, the floors were being reground and repainted, as were the walls. We had to move out of our unit and into another unit while that floor was shut down to be redone, then we had to pack up everything to move back to our original unit. The dirt, dust and noise was unbelievable and a nice vacation with family during Christmas it was not, in fact we decided to check out early by a month and half because of the treatment we received and never to spend our hard earned money here again.

Terrible policy to get more money from you.

it is sad that a loyal customer for last 15 years will no longer stay with brett robinson(last 6 years in a row at same phoenix east location). They adopted a policy where you have to pay in full 30 days prior to visit or risk loosing full amount in case you have a family emergency unless you purchase additional insurance on top of deposit (which should be what the deposit should be for). Bad policy for loyal customers in my opinion. So long brett robinson.

P2 worst stay ever after 20 yrs of doing business with you

P2 , room 9004. Hard to give a good review with a room that has wind blowing around door and cold air coming in the whole time we were there. Reported this and either they did nothing or what they did , did not correct the problem. Tried to call and tried to report again but no one their except few hours each day. Was told at check out someone call and have not heard anything from you. Seems like we may have to find somewhere that cares for their clients room price is ok but all other fees and 350$ to price. Way to much

Phoenix I-1116 Old & Worn

Phoenix I-1116. Fantastic view and a comfortable bed. Those are the only positive things I can say about this unit. The carpet needs replacing and is dirty, as is the furniture. Trim is broken off the furniture. The refrigerator looks bad, and the stove is 29 years old. Very limited cook ware. Wind whistled through the unit so loud (with the doors closed) it woke us up. Washcloths were not provided with linen package. Came up from the pool and found maintenance in our bathroom with no prior notice. He removed the bathroom exhaust fan and it still wasn't replaced when we left. TVs are WAY too small for the rooms. Could take out the VCR and CD player and make room for modern technology. Exorbitant B/R fees do not include beach chairs, which were not available anyway. No chance I would ever return to a Brett/Robinson property!

The room was very nice and very clean

The room was very nice and very clean. We absolutely loved the view. The staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you Brett/Robinson for a great vacation! I had family join me from Texas and New York and they all loved it as well.

Worst experience ever!!!!

Worst experience ever. The bed was so bed I had the worst back pain ever. I called your number 2 times only to be told, there is nothing we can do. My vacation was ruined and you don’t care!!!! Never again!!! Worst time ever. And you do not care !!!!

We are along time visitor with Brett…

We are along time visitor with Brett Robinson. Stayed at Phoenix IX several times before and are always pleased. Very disappointed that the pool was not usable due to a large maintenance project. This is the first time we were not notified prior to our arrival. All we could find was that no one knew this was going to happen. We have experienced maintenance issues before always with prior notification. This was a management problem as this was definitely not as emergency repair, just managements lack of customer service.

First beach trip

We just got back from our first time ever beach trip. We stayed at Island Winds East. #502. It was absolutely amazing. The view and being right on the beach was perfect. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. My only wish was more comfortable beds. We will be back!

Dissatisfied

We stayed in room 275 . Not clean ! Food left in fridge . Furniture very dirty had stains ! While standing in living room a service man enters without knocking saying he had a call about stove not working ! We Did NOT call . I was in my nightgown and he kept persistenting he check out the stove !! He would not leave !! After talking with other tenants they had the same problem ! The maintenance people have No right to enter without permission from the tenant !! What if I had been in the shower ?? I will not be returning !!!

Stayed at Phoenix III 3 nights on 7th…

Stayed at Phoenix III 3 nights on 7th floor room 3072 I think it was. There was no counter space in the bathroom to put things on. Same with the bedroom stands by the bed. I ended up with a bill much more than the quoted price for the room per day once I paid the $142.38 cleaning fee, the $28.25 Phoenix service fee, the $79.10 reservation fee etc.. There was noise in the surrounding rooms, upstairs there must have been construction all day and kids beside us. The toilet was hard to flush. The wifi was slow .52 mbps but the upload was over 10 mbps. I called front desk and no answer 3 times then I called the next day they said that they would get it reset. It got faster for about an hour and then was back to slow. Everything else was ok. I wouldn't go back because of the hidden costs which I was given the grand total when I booked the room but I guess it didn't dawn on me until I got the itemized bill what all I was paying for. The lack of counter space and the noise. I'll find somewhere else to stay.

After 20yrs, my first disappointment....

I've visited the area for more than 20yrs and this is the first time that I've had to deal with problems as such that I had. We stayed in Phoenix 7. As that we had a three bedroom, there were no towels for the guest rooms and the guest bathroom towel rack was broken, the showers were filthy, the kitchen was dirty, there weren't enough chairs on our balcony, the bedding had not been changed, there was no mop nor dust pan for us to clean with, there were no skillets for cooking. We had to purchase our own to cook with. And the carpet was dirty. They had a person to come in during our visit to do the carpet. Therefore, we had to walk around on wet carpet for 3 to 4 hours. Given, we were offered and received a partial refund for cleaning, I had visitors,who were not from the area, who were not impressed at all.

We stayed at Phoenix VII over the Labor…

We stayed at Phoenix VII over the Labor Day weekend. Condo 7508. This was a disgusting condo. There was mold in the hall bath. Towel holders were missing. We had to call maintenance twice before we were there 24 hrs. The blankets smelled gross. I will never stay here again!!!

Phoenix West II...A perfect stay!!’

Phoenix West II.... It was all I wanted it to be!! Check in was very timely and our room was very clean and beautiful!! The surroundings of the building pool, lazy river and the board walk to the beach was perfect!! The maintenance crew was on point at all times I noticed!! Keeping everything so clean and safe! And to add the noise was never an issue around or in my condo!! I love this place and will go back!! Thanks for a good stay and happy memories 🙂 P.S The master suite bed was very comfortable which is always a main stay!! See ya next year!!
