I tried to get a quote online, but it's impossible because the search engine can't find my vehicle by license plate number. There's no option to manually enter data, and a quote is impossible. It's a very primitive and outdated service that should be pleasant and user-friendly. I'm disappointed.

Disappointing Experience - No Refund Despite Valid Cancellation
I purchased temporary car insurance from this company, but unfortunately, I had to cancel it within 24 hours due to the vehicle being faulty and requiring a return to the dealer. Despite the cancellation being well within a reasonable timeframe and due to circumstances beyond my control, I was informed that no refund would be provided.
While I understand that insurance policies have terms and conditions, the inflexibility shown when a genuine issue arose - particularly when the cancellation occurred so quickly after purchase - was disappointing. The lack of consideration for customers facing unexpected situations, such as a faulty vehicle purchase, reflects poorly on their customer service approach.
I would recommend carefully reviewing their cancellation and refund policies before purchasing, as they appear to offer little flexibility even in legitimate circumstances.

We can provide cover on new cars, but we do have eligibility criteria set by the underwriter which meant we were unable to quote for you based on all the information you provided.
We do not have a phone number for customers to call, all purchases have to be made via the website currently.

Pretty decent website but not perfect
Pretty decent website but not perfect - why? Because when you log on to the customer portal to view your policies it asks you to enter a date and the vehicle registration to retrieve your policies. However, it doesn't tell you what date they want - the date the cover starts, your date of birth? It transpires that it's the latter. Here's an idea - say 'Please enter your date of birth' just above/under that field. This is fundamental stuff.
