Mixed experience

Let's start with this site doesn't allow experiences as signed in with! My first and second photos were amazing other than they were colored! No idea what's happening with the third photo processed, it's in sepia and I'd really like to keep it that way but I couldn't find a box to check that allowed that... however Google thought there might be. The first corrected photos took seconds... I was impressed! The third has now run for +three hours and is still thinking.... it would have been much easer if allowed to remain in "sepia" thus keeping with the time period shorter... at least IMHO. I'm sure when it's completes it will be excellent but will have lost it's nostalgia if colorized. Bottom line, other than the ability of keeping B/W... black and white... very good. Todays exercise, very poor.

Terrible photos

The site started with 2 free credits and I purchased additional credits which advertised 5 pictures. I only got 2 photos and it said “insufficient credit”
The initial themselves were terrible. The my did not have the likeness of the original photos at all. Do not waste your money. It’s a scam.

​I’m really sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, but I want to clear up the confusion and make sure you get exactly what you paid for.
​Regarding the credits: The starter plan provides 5 credits. Standard photo restorations cost 1 credit each (which equals 5 photos). However, the Studio Family Portrait generator you used requires a much heavier AI process, so it costs 2 credits per photo (this is noted inside the dashboard). Generating two family photos used 4 credits, leaving 1 credit remaining, which is why you saw the "insufficient credit" error when trying to make another. BringBack is built and run by a solo developer, and I can assure you it is absolutely not a scam!
​Regarding the likeness: AI can sometimes struggle depending on the original photo quality or angles. I saw your results and wanted to fix it for you immediately. I have personally stepped in, generated 4 brand-new, high-quality family portraits for you completely free of charge, and just sent them to your email.
​I really hope these new photos capture the likeness you were looking for! If my personal follow-up and the new photos helped resolve this for you, I would be incredibly grateful if you'd consider updating your review.
