Booked to picked up today at 12:30pm for a health appointment after a recent operation. Didn't turn up. Do not use this company as they will let you down. Poor.

AVOID. We booked at 2.30am to get to Gatwick airport. The car didn't turn up. Staff on the phone were very unhelpful and advised to wait so they could find another car while the minutes ticked by. There was no other car. We were incredibly lucky to find an Uber at that time and just made the flight. Unreal. Never ever even looking at this firm again.

Taxi didn't arrive. Chased company and was told car would be despatched. Phoned back ten minutes later and car hadn't been despatched and no estimate on its arrival could be made due to traffic (at 7am). Told that reservations didn't really mean a car would arrive at the scheduled time. Had to scramble to catch my train. Blacklisting Britannia.

Got a text to say the taxi had arrived, came outside within 5 minutes of getting the text but no taxi there. Contacted the controller but was told taxis all fully booked. Poor service

Britania taxi driver in a black hyundi reversed out of mccalls on Ashtons green drive squashed my son in-between his car and my wife's. He then drove straight of leaving me with a £150 bill to get the dent removed. Went in to the taxi office to find a name or a reg but they couldn't help. I will eventually see him again it's a good job my son wasn't injured. What happened to not leaving the scene of an accident or an incident they obviously think the law doesn't apply to them

Shocking service, booked the day before. Can’t get a driver to me on time asked for and no promise of one turning up!

Dont ever book here!!! We booked a trip from the airport to our hotel and a trip from millenial dome to our hotel. At the airport they were half hour too late. At the millennium dome they never showed up! We stayed there with 2 little kids late in the evening and had to wait for 2 hours for another taxi. Didnt pick up the phone, said we had to send an email.. on our way back home, they were 40 minutes too late. We had to call another uber after 20 minutes. We almost missed our flight!

I wouldn't even give this company 1star.Terrible service, book a taxi for a certain time then when chase it after being 20 mins late to be told they can't guarantee a time. Waited over an hour. Will never use this company again.

Disgusting left a 72 year old woman stranded after waiting 30 mins for a driver to be assigned the booking was just cancelled with no notice

A driver has taken the Mick out of two seventeen year old girls. They were coming from st Helens town centre to Newton le willows, he brought them via the east lancs A580 instead of direct route through Parr which inevitably trebled the fayre home. I am not impressed with the taxi driver ripping of 2 young girls.

In order to write a review I had to select one star - believe me - they don't deserve one star - they deserve zero. I booked a Manchester Airport return to St Helens 15 March 2022. After I landed and was walking to baggage claim I received a call from the taxi driver and at that time I noticed he tried to call me 3 times. He asked me how long I would be ... well I am no expert at baggage claim and so I said to him I don't know. As he pressed me for an answer I said well it could be 5 mins to 1 hour. When we got through baggage claim I called and Britannia's supervisor had cancelled the taxi and asked if I wanted to book another and wait an hour ... errrrr no! They left me stranded with my 80 year old mother after an 8 hour flight. UNRELIABLE. Do not use if you don't want to be let down.

Sick to death off prebooking taxi then they 40 mins late late for work goin to end up gettin sack cos off this company jokes an customer service is horrendous speak down to u when u raise a issue

APPALLING!
Would have preferred to give zero stars. Booked the previous day for a 6.30pm pick up, message received to say my car was dispatched at 6.35, so far so good..6.55 still no car?? Rang to be told there were no drivers available and she didn't know when there would be one and a driver must have picked up the job and then dropped it, hence me being told a car was on it's way. Company took no responsibility saying all the drivers work for themselves despite my booking being with Britannia. Car eventually turned up making me an hour late, it stank of cigarettes and the estimated fair of £17 suddenly came to £28.50!!!! Absolute rip off - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Booked a taxi in advance using the app for an airport pickup at 4:10am. Rang the night before for confirmation, the taxi didn’t turn up. The operator was rude and very unhelpful. Will never use them again!!!! No taxis in the area ridiculous with a pre booked service. What a joke. Blue star taxis saved day!!

This company are so terrible that not only will I not use them again, I won't use the booking agency that always promotes them as the top choice.

The driver that was supposed to pick me up from Heathrow didn't and didn't message / email / call.

After an hour and a half of "the new driver will be there in 10 minutes" he turned up in a Prius despite me paying extra for an SUV because I had a large luggage bag.

Leaving me squashed in a front seat pulled all the way forward with no leg room.

Then I spent an extra 30 minutes on what should have been an hour and a quarter journey because this replacement driver doesn't drive through the congestion charge zone

Don't bother booking in advance they please thereselves. Book for 1530 at 1550 we still hadn't been assigned a driver!! Ended up missing our train. Cheers Brittania !! Rang the office and the woman was so rude it's untrue. In short a s!!t show. 32 quid up the pan

Don't bother pre booking a early morning taxi, have tried 3 times now and had to cancel because after 15 minutes of due time the operator still can't tell me when my taxi is due.

Avoid this company they treat the drivers almost as badly as they treat their customers .

Pre booked a taxi for 8am to get to work, no show rang at 8.10 checking up and operator just said it was on way 8.21 I gave up and cancelled, very poor service and customer service shocking WILL NEVER USE

I don’t normally write reviews but this service is beyond belief. Will never use again
