I get its a risk when you buy a car anyway.. but was advised not to take out the warranty with the dealership (i wonder why) also sold us the car with 2 missing wheel nuts on the one wheel which could be very dangerous. Would not recommend at all

The service was excellent - thank you Archie! I was welcomed with a coffee, and had as much time as I wanted to inspect the condition of the vehicle. I didn't feel pressured at all when doing this. We went for a useful test drive along fast, slow, and bumpy roads to get a good sense of the vehicle's handling. I was able to go over in detail questions I had about warranties, part exchange, etc. which Archie was able to answer no problem. Clearly very knowledgable about cars and the admin around them. After we settled on a very fair price, I was delighted with the Xmas gift of new floor mats and the bottle of bubbly to celebrate! I could see the level of pride in the showroom of the cars being sold and the service given, will definitely go back to Britannia Motors Co when we'll eventually need to replace our other car. Thanks again for the great service.

Super easy and super quick!! My car was written off and I had less than a week of my hire car before I needed to get a new one. I contacted Russel at Britannia, and arranged an appointment, with the instructions, medium sized car, that drives nicely. I’m not a car person!! Went in on Saturday, and had my new car within the hour. Had a few days now and very happy with it. Thank you for making what is my idea of hell (buying a new car) an extremely easy and actually a pleasant experience.

Have used Archie and Britannia in the past to buy a car so was my first port of call when I was looking for a new motor. Found the car I liked on their website rang up spoke to Archie who booked me in for an appointment. Viewed the car Archie sorted out the Finance which was quick hassle free and a great deal. Once that was sorted took the car for a test drive. Then Archie did the rest. All paperwork, taxed the new car all within a couple of hours. Great service, quality cars. So much so we returned a few days later to get my wife a new car.

called regarding a car purchase, told them i wanted the car offered a deposit and asked for cost to deliver, was told no deposit required everything was in place, this was on monday, i was advised i would get a call next day with delivery costs and there bank details for payment , i was told car was available and in the showroom , on tuesday i received no contact nothing, so i waited until 4pm and called them , the reply was the car as been sold, and the buyer left a deposit on friday , why was the car still advertised on autotrader, why was the car still offered to me on monday yet sold on friday, and why did you not contact me asap to let me know. failure to communicate with each other.lack of communication and hours wasted getting insurance , and everything in place, to add to this was told the car had done 1000 miles yet the images shows the car as done almost double this ?? . company doesn't deserve 1 star also doesn't deserve my custom, not good enough. poor awful experience, now back to drawing board and start searching all over again, enjoy your 1 star. very frustrated

i offered 5k deposit to secure they refused said it was not required and the car was mine ????

Great, friendly efficient service. Viewed car on Autotrader on a Saturday, made enquiry, Russel Stoneman was really helpful sending an honest detailed video. Finance was sorted quickly and easily. Russel even picked me up from train station on the Monday morning and finalised everything at showroom. Really friendly service, non pushy, didn’t force unnecessary extras on to the price. Very pleasant to deal with and highly recommended. Car was a good price as well!
My experience at Britannia Motors was a positive one, staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. They helped me purchase the car I was looking for and was able to answer any questions I had. A big thing for me was that they didn’t make me feel pressured in making my purchase which some dealers do. They also gave me a good price for my old vehicle.
I am a really happy with my new T Roc and would definitely recommend them.

Found Brittania Motor Company whilst browsing for a Peugeot 508 SW on Autotrader.
Completely different feel from the nationwide car garages which was a breath of fresh air. No pressure sale and brilliant customer service. Everyone we spoke to was polite and you feel you are genuinely cared for. Archie was the salesman we dealt with and offered a fair price for my car on part exchange and helped with the retention of my private plate and paperwork. Car mats provided in the post too which was a nice touch - thanks.
So far my car has run brilliantly and I’m very happy. Will definitely keep an eye out and visit again when looking for a new car in future.

We bought a vauxhall combo,
Vehicles seemed a fair price especially with the warranty cover, 2 months in we've had no issues other than slight creaks from one door when going over bumps. I had noticed during the test drive but do remember to turn off the radio to listen for things. They let us both test drive and take our time.

So great reviews are fine when everything goes smoothly but how about when they don't! This is in fact a 4.6 stars but left it as 5 because of the excellent communication throughout. Russell Stoneman at Britannia was fantastic with the sale. Clear, direct and very helpful, he was organised with the paperwork, accomodating with sorting out payment and even picked me up from the train station when I returned by rail to pickup. From start to finish I felt he was completely attentive. However....... on taking the vehicle away I almost immediately (well when it first rained!) noticed the ceiling inside the car getting very damp and water dribbling down. I immediately got in touch with Russell and he was not standoffish, he was very engaged and polite, and so agreed to have it checked out to see what was the cause. They agreed to cover this diagnostic cost. Turns out the windscreen seal was faulty and letting in large amounts of water. After some discussion and lots of me phoning around for quotes we got costs back and they agreed to pay nearly half the cost (over half the cost if you include the diagnostic). SO in conclusion I was sold a vehicle with a defect and it did cost me several days worth of time to get this sorted out (and additional pounds) BUT they were really helpful and did communicate excellently, they were always available and I didn't feel like I was getting a brush off. They covered the lions share of the cost. So earnt a solid 4.6 out of 5.
