I was a little apprehensive at first, changing my phone No. & also my network provider but Adam & British No.s were superb. It was done with little if any problems or delays.

Everything from the beginning and the end of purchase were amazing, fast and smooth without a single hiccup. I highly recommend this if you need a number that is either special to you or something to remember easily.

Purchased 2 new numbers. Received emails with confirmation and emails then to explain how to switch on SIM card and register with phone company. A very easy process. Would definitely use these guys again. Many thanks

Probably a scam company.
So, I bought 3 numbers from them. The first number - they told me they don't sell physical SIMs and sent me a PUK number. All worked fine.
The next two are where the fun begins. They came in a flimsy envelope, just the plastic parts of the SIM, without the provider's usual outer packaging. One of them was actiavated ok. The second one couldn't be activated. The provided code did not match. When I was buying the Sims, it was stated that they are both from GifGaf, in reality, one was O2, and the other was from Vodafone. The Vodafone one did not activate, and when we called Vodafone, they told us that someone was using this card days before it arrived!!!! So, now we couldn't pass any Vodafone checks and couldn't get PUK number. I messaged the company and am waiting for their reply, but tbh all this looks like a scam now, and I will probably replace all the SIM cards. Disappointed.

I'm pleased to say the number I wanted was eventually delivered and I'm using it successfully now, so overall I'm satisfied. This was a better experience than the one I had with a competitor that failed to deliver after weeks of delay (refund given). The number was delivered on a GiffGaff SIM with some credit on it and that has worked really well - a good price and good coverage.

I've taken off one star because (as others have said) the whole process took several weeks (roughly a month) and I don't understand why transferring a number should take that long. If you were starting up a company and wanted to get publicity sorted this would be a major problem.

I've taken off another star because of poor communication - silence at first, then promising delivery dates that were repeatedly exceeded. That made me very nervous because of my previous bad experiences and because I didn't trust them, which meant I couldn't get new business cards printed.

I had some trouble finding a cheap way to redirect my old number to voicemail or my phone. I ended up using a VoIP account with Andrews & Arnold, and (for a different number) an ASDA PAYG SIM, both very cheap options. It turns out British Numbers could have helped but I didn't know that.

There are thousands of numbers available, which is a good thing but most of them are not very memorable at all so a better filtering system would have been useful. Too many had no obvious pattern at all, or long strings of repeated digits that are hard to read and pronounce. I ended up just going through numbers one by one until I found one I liked.

Long delay in obtaining phone number but matter resolved.

Ordered 20th August and communication hasn't been the best but when the number finally arrived they helped rectify the situation.

I had a good experience with British Numbers. They were easy to deal with, providing fast and efficient service. The process was smooth, and they seem to have the biggest collection of numbers available, making it simple to find exactly what I needed. Recommended!
