After my broadband going up in price by…
After my broadband going up in price by £15 per month over 3 years I decided to move, I rang up to cancel and they gave me other cheaper packages, I said I’d go away and think about it. After thinking about it over the weekend I called them back to say I do want to cancel and he got very agitated on the phone and said no I will get problems anywhere I go and to stick with them, I felt like he wasn’t taking no for an answer and he kept raising his voice. It’s my right to cancel and I’m now out of contract and don’t expect to be hassled like that on the phone. Very pushy and verging on intimidating. He also stopped my internet within the week even though it’s in black and white on their website your broadband stops after 30 days of cancelling so I had to ring them back and get them to amend it. I would never go near this company again
DONT SIGN UP FOR EE Broadband
I have reviewed the Installation of my home broadband previously. I put it all in a letter sent recorded delivery asking for their comments and to put the problems with the installation right. Their own terms and conditions say they must respond within a certain time period but so far they haven’t written back. I have informed them of my disabilities and how I rely on a carer and a decent broadband connection for day to day services and deliveries but it doesn’t seem to matter as long as I carry on paying, I’m looking forward to alerting the ombudsman, something I would recommend to others, when their time to rectify the complaint has expired.
The broadband has been abysmal constantly dropping devices from the Wi-Fi signal, smart plugs that I rely on constantly needing to be reconnected, streaming tv being interrupted until you give up. I’m sure the equipment they supply is the cheapest possible as I live in a tiny two bedroom bungalow and I have had to spend over 200 pounds on decent Wi-Fi extenders to get the signal to cover all four rooms. Using the router on its own couldn’t even get the signal out of the room it’s installed in. My security system still won’t operate with it so I have had to spend a further £800 to put a different system in after two months of trying to get the other one to connect.
When you sign up for EE you sign up for two years of useless broadband and the worst service I’ve received from any company. So don’t fall for the hype as myself and two of my neighbours have and we all have similar experiences. The only thing that works is the direct debit they take every month. No doubt there will be more news to follow
Slowest and most unreliable broadband Just the worst company to deal with.
Just the worst company to deal with.
Worst customer service ever!
Unreliable speeds that are slowed down at night!!!
Claim to use BT broadband but I BT previously and it worked fine all of the time.
Left with Total Loss of Service After…
Left with Total Loss of Service After EE Upgrade – No Repair Path and No Urgent Help
My broadband was working perfectly until EE arranged a full‑fibre upgrade. During this process, EE/Openreach engineers disconnected my existing service, and I have now been left with a Total Loss of Service that their own engineer confirmed cannot be repaired.
Despite EE causing the outage and confirming there is no repair path, the earliest installation date they have offered is late July, leaving me without broadband for weeks. This is completely unreasonable.
I have asked for the case to be escalated as a “Total Loss of Service – No Repair Path”, which should trigger an Emergency Fibre Installation, but so far this has not happened.
Under Ofcom’s Automatic Compensation Scheme, EE is now liable for £9.76 per day from 48 hours after the fault was reported, but I would much prefer EE to simply restore my service urgently.
I am asking EE to:
Escalate this to the Service Management Centre
Arrange an Emergency Fibre Installation
Provide a temporary unlimited 4G/5G router until service is restored. The hub provided is not good enough and will not work with my router.
I hope posting this here prompts someone from EE’s Executive Complaints Team to take ownership and resolve this quickly. Being left without broadband for weeks due to an EE‑caused fault is not acceptable.

EE broadband it’s absolutely crap in my area most times keep resetting every 20 min sometimes no internet for hours!!! Lucky for me I have contract till September so looks like I give them the fantastic ee not!! Back !!!!!
Not interested once they have your money
Ee kept asking me to switch from sky, so after 1 year of being asked, I decided to change. Worse move ever. The router has done nothing but drop in and out for the past 30 days and I haven't had it even 1 year. Spoke with customer service 3 times who said nothing was wrong, then tried to sell me a bigger package saying it would cure, in their eyes, a non existent problem. Finally got a so called technician who finally after 20 minutes of me arguing, said it may be the router...no sh** !!!!
Called sky and got even better package at a lower price. I have 2 ee phones and will be switching them as well .
Quite a letdown overall
For 8 days now we have failed to fix my broadband. No telly- nothing since 22/5 😫😫😫
Worst customer service and totally ripped off
We have been ripped off. We are long term customers of BT/EE who have been ripped off with low speeds, high prices and add-ons we didn't want. Rang to upgrade to a higher speed for less than we were paying and was told those prices were only for new customers. This company does not reward current customers at all. We were offered cheaper speeds with another company so decided to finally leave EE. Within minutes of signing up to another company EE were suddenly messaging and calling. After being told they could not match the speeds we were being offered we were suddenly offered a lower price for higher speeds to a better price than the company we were going to. I was busy at the time and asked for a call back later. Was offered 6pm. Never received the call back but the following day received a message saying 'Your special price is still available, please call us'. I called and was reached by a very rude customer service woman in Glasgow. She spent a long time arguing with me about prices and stating to me that I did not need a high speed and she could give me good prices for lower speeds that would be cheaper than the company we were leaving for. Her attitude towards me was rude and dismal. And hypocritical as she told me I wouldnt get good customer service from other companies, as her reason we should stay with EE. I finally had to tell this woman that I was ending the call. I have never been spoken to so rudely by a customer service. She was shouting my name and trying to tell me what she thought I needed. I finally told her I was ending the conversation, said goodbye and ended the call.stay clear of this company. All these reviews are not made up. You are treated with disrespect. Once that have got your money, they are not interested in you.

I find we Brand to be reasonable when it comes to customer support it depends which guy did you get and also depends on how technical and how much the technical guide understands the problem I’ve had some good than I’ve had some bad experiences more bad than good
Don't expect to find any integrity in this company.
After being a loyal customer for around 2 decades, I found out that BT/EE don't care. Over the last 4 years I have been lied to, stitched up, had information requests ignored and mugged of £50 after I had left them. I complained to the Claire Gillies, but she lacked the basic courtesy of an acknowledgement. Perhaps rudeness is a prerequisite of being a fat cat? To sum up: avoid avoid avoid.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service, I have had nothing but problems and they refuse to actually fix the problem that is in the box they will do anything to avoid actually fixing the problem, never use there internet.

There're additional charges after 6 months for TV service and it's included in the broadband package and you can't cancel it until the contrat ends, which is extremely frustrating.

Just had EE fibre broadband and unfortunately it is really poor.
When watching a film it stops on multiple occasions and the screen freezes
BT direct was much better
I need to change providers asap
Contract up for renewal and offered FF…
Contract up for renewal and offered FF at an attractive price so signed up or it. Getting the fibre from the road to house a bit tortuous but eventually achieved. Router had to be moved from original location as dictated by Open Reach. In new location all good except for the first floor where WiFi was weak or totally absent. Before the router provided wifi throughout the house. Contacted BT/EE told could be resolved but would cost more by adding repeater (?) to the contract. Argued that the reduced performance was not of my doing and the so called upgrade was a backward step. Rang again same response. Tried again and this time offered a repeater (?) for 6 months free then £10 a month. So in summary router had to go where Open Reach decided and not where it was originally and the reduced service could only be resolved by paying more. All Open Reach engineers were polite, efficient and friendly. No problem but they are backed by a company with terrible communication skills.
Horrific service
Horrific service, telephony agent consistently lied to me. Even pretended to be disconnected by going silent but I could hear them in the background. Eventually they spoke after I made it clear I could hear them and would not be ending the call.

Most worst home broadband service in the uk I have my home WiFi down for 3 days
Avoid EE
Avoid EE. Wish I hadn’t gone with this company. The coverage of the router is worse that my 10 yr old one. The external fitting of a black cable on a white wall is unsightly, loose and slapdash. Sent a complaint, where after 5 days got a text from a Mamoud to say expect an immediate call. There was no contact. Today I received an email to say they have closed the complaint themselves. As someone has stated, they really do not have customer care in mind. Awful.
EE don't care they are a disgrace
When the Engineer arrived I checked that the new installation of full fibre would not effect my landline .I was assured there would be no problem .My landline is unable to receive incoming calls fro the date of installation 13th Nat and will not be available till 31st May. I spent hours trying to rectify this and having failed I escalated the complaint and received a message on 17th May .Nothing further until May 25th when I received a text telling me my complaint was closed. The issue is that my EE mobile signal is very poor and so I am reliant on my landline.I made EE aware if a very serious family crisis which meant I required access to my phone.
