Lovely pie and really buttery pastry. However.. this cost £11 which is almost double premium supermarket equivalents. I love supporting local businesses but this is expensive considering there wasn’t... See more

Fllings are tasty and generous.
Fllings are tasty and generous.
Convenient and easy to cook.
I'm not overly impressed with the gluten free pastry. The tops are quite solid before the base is cooked and its impossible to get them out of the foil without breaking them up.
Good pies with nice pastry and meat
Good pies with nice pastry and meat, would recommend them as shop made products, not as good as Mums

I ordered the bundle and when they arrived we had the Steak & Ale the same day. It was delicious with a great gravy and really tender meat. The other two pies have gone into the freezer so that we can enjoy them at a later date.

Chicken Little
Chicken Little - bought a bunch of these from a farm shop as the packaging looked good. However, sauce was grey and gluey in consistency, also tasted gluey and not at all of chicken. Gave one to my partner’s mum who also said the same. My parents had one from a different stockist and said the same. We tried another one from the bought batch hoping for better, but sadly tasted just as awful. Not good.

Overpriced and disappointed for the high cost!
Lovely delivery, very eco conscious etc. however, if you’re anything more than a family of two, don’t bother. And we’re not big eaters! We’re talking toddler portions for the price paid.
Cheese and onion pie - nice. But tiny pie for the money. Barely suitable for 3, never mind 4. Best out of the three.
Chicken pie - again tiny, nothing special for the price. Nothing remarkable that sets it aside from a supermarket pie.
“Wild beaver pie” a watery, bland liquid experience, virtually no meat. Horrific. Will never bother again. I have photos but cannot upload them here. Biggest waste of almost £10 per tiny pie you will ever spend.
Poor customer service
Like a previous reviewer, disappointed that the free mystery pie was just a mince pie. But far worse - the mince pie was badly crushed with its contents leaking through the packaging, and another had a broken top and half of its crust loose in the box. Compensation offered?, one free pie with next order - in other words, spend a lot more and get one free pie to replace the damaged two. After further complaint, given a refund for just one pie ‘because the other was free’. Very poor customer service. Such a shame, when I’d bought four bundles of pies in the past.
