Avoid at all costs, no geniune guarantee offered

As many others have commented, poor quality mattress that ends up sagging and they will not honour the guarantee as they are saying the company went into liquidation but they are still trying to sell mattress and offering a 10 year guarantee.

Shocking experience

Shocking experience
Bought a double mattress 3 years ago that has barely been slept on (son was at uni).
Now sagging quite badly in the middle which for the premium we paid is very poor.
However it came with a 10 year warranty so phoned them today. The company has now been liquidated and the 'new' company won't honour the warranty. Which is bad enough, but the 'new' company is still called Brook + Wilde - but with 'sleep' added to the end!
This was a 'luxury' mattress and really quite expensive for a double but we wanted to treat our son.
Honestly would have been better to buy a standard one from Ikea and keep replacing it.
Shocking quality, shocking service.
Avoid unless you have money to burn.

Terrible company -- avoid at all costs

Terrible company -- avoid at all costs! I very regrettably bought 2 mattresses from this company between 2021 and 2022. I hoped they would last me forever considering the price and the luxury feel of their website. They felt great at first (which is why I purchased a second) but within a few years the double had sagged. When I decided to wash the cover of the single on the setting advised, it came out shapeless and it was impossible to fit it back over the mattress and the zip had broken, and come away from the cover even on a gentle cycle. When I contacted Brook and Wilde for a new cover, I was told that the company had been dissolved and reformed as something else so I couldn't have a new cover. So I guess their warranties mean absolutely nothing. By the way: underneath the covers my mattresses are nothing but layers of foam glued together. Beware and donate your hard earned cash somewhere else; I feel profoundly scammed.

I bought a 'Luxe' mattress from this…

I bought a 'Luxe' mattress from this company in Nov 2021. It's been in the spare room so had very very light use, I'd say 2 months in total. Even given this, one side/ edge has collapsed and I see I am not the only one to whom this happened. Brooke & Wild are not answering their phone and are ignoring my email and website chat messages. I can see they are trying to pass themselves off as a different company now (Brooke & Wild Sleep) despite all the branding/ products/ names remaining the same. *****AVOID THIS COMPANY THEY BELONG ON "ROGUE TRADERS"****

I bought a mattress from them in 2020 , which has sunk really badly , I am 55 kg so not heavy , despite apparently having a guarantee, the company went into liquidation in 2023 🙁 so apparently it’s just tough that I have a duff mattress , stay clear of them

Defective mattress

Defective mattress, warranty not valid due to company having gone into liquidation. It simply added Sleep to it's title, staff remained the same, and is supposedly a new company. Fraudsters. AVOID!!

No warranties, terrible long term quality

"Absolutely terrible experience. The mattress was fine at first, but it started to sag a year later and when I tried to claim the warranty, I discovered Brook + Wilde had gone into liquidation. Customer service is non-existent, and the warranty is now completely void. Avoid this company at all costs—you're left with no support if anything goes wrong."

No guarantee

The mattress only lasts two years and then starts collapsing. The brand was taken over just over a year ago and is continuing to sell under the name 'Brook + Wilde' but the 'Guarantee' they offer isnt being honoured. They hide behind a corporate technicality which is very rehearsed by their sales team so they must get this a lot. For what you pay vs what you get, I would avoid buying this mattress at all costs.

Criminals - Avoid at all costs.

This company is a scam. Our mattress is only 2 years old and unusable as it gives me and my wife chronic back pain. Both sides where we sleep have pretty much collapsed - leaving a big ridge in the middle. Tried to contact them to see what could be done to be told the warranty is void as the company went into liquidation- despite the fact they clearly still exist and are clearly still selling exactly the same awful products. I hope someone gets arrested, sued or fined for this. It’s criminal.

Absolute con - avoid!

Absolute con. Avoid!!!

We purchase their top of the range mattress in 2022. Within 6 weeks it had sagged. It was replaced for the same and it sagged again within a matter of weeks. They replaced it with a cheaper model (and refunded the difference) but this mattress has now dipped and sagged beyond belief. It lasted just over 18month. I contacted them to change it to be told they have gone into receivership. The “new” company will therefore not honour any guarantee. As we bought it on a debit card we sadly have no consumer rights! I’m stuck with a crappy overpriced mattresses with no guarantee.

Ignore all the rave reviews from the big brands - clearly a PR spin to overshadow their shoddy product

Purchased a king size mattress

Purchased a king size mattress, but it was too hard for me. Have been contacting them since early June and they still have not organised collection of the mattress. I've emailed and called ... Do not purchase from this company if you expect to be able to return the mattress if it is not suitable.

Sadly I will have to take legal action to resolve this issue and get my money back! Dreadful company.

I purchased a mattress (king size) in march 2023. Within 6 weeks it had completely broken down one side. I emailed company who promised to exchange it.
After several emails and loads of excuses, no delivery drivers etc…I moved the mattress into spare room and brought another from a different company.
I have eventually given up on their fake promises of 200 day trial and 10 year guarantee. Not worth the paper it’s writtten on. Took mattress to skip.
GIVE THIS SCAM COMPANY A MISS!!

Lasts about four years…

I've had a Brook and Wild mattress for approx 5 years. It was comfortable for four of those years but I've had neck and shoulder pain in the last year and after buying several new pillows I now realise it's the mattress which is not providing sufficient support. I'm contacting Brook and Wild but having read comments re the change in ownership I'm not expecting the ten year guarantee to be upheld. I'll comment again if I get a positive outcome from my enquiry.
Whatever, I need a new mattress.

Don't waste your money

I can totally relate to the reviews here. If you scroll back you can see how terrible the reviews are. The original company conveniently went into administration making all the trial returns and warranties no longer valid. They then opened as exactly the same company starting again! The same happened to our mattress, dips on both side, back ache etc etc. Edges and corners of the mattress are so soft you can't sit on the edge of the bed (this is a medium not a soft mattress). We are now having to look for a new mattress. If you are sucked in to purchasing a mattress please take note of the trail number of days and if you see/feel the slightest thing wrong with your mattress within the period then return it asap as it will only get MUCH worse and you will then find yourself outside the trial period.

Order No 46751, April 2023, was never delivered, never refunded.
Delivery date up to 6 months: No show.
1st Enquiry: No delivery company.
2nd Enquiry: Delivery within a month
Complaint, asked for refund: promised within 2 weeks
No refund, no address, no email answers, phone number not valid anymore. I naturally assumed the company had gone bankrupt.
I just realised they are still advertising online, seemingly in business. Unbelievable! Don't order unless your credit card allows you to withtract payment.
Pay only in a way that you can withdraw your payment.

AWFUL COMPANY

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY Two mattress’s delivered both faulty and bed frame was also put up with pieces missing and we were not informed about this until second faulty mattress was removed. This saga began begining of April. Finally refund for all was agreed begining of July !! Still awaiting refund for returned unopened bedding.( they deny receiving) Never used the bed we had it for 3 months and we were unable to use it at all, or our own bedroom during this time for that matter. Worse company I have ever used. So many calls, emails whatsapps, visits and time spent dealing with this and no compensation offered.

I would give this 0 stars. I bought a bed and mattress just 2 years ago. The mattress is now bowing in the middle and the sides slope away. I have looked after it as instructed and neither my husband or I are large. I complained to customer services under the 10 year guarantee and received a standard ‘we bought the brand from co in liquidation so bad luck’ they have not replied to my request for details of supplier or manufacturer and whether the ‘new’ company are using the same. In my opinion the mattress was not worth the money and the 10 year guarantee is worthless.
