Pre-sales - with the initial chat about what solar should look like, was informative and balanced to work with the knowledge that I already had. And then all my follow up questions were handled quickly and professionally.
Come installation, all the communications beforehand were clear, the timelines were clear, and the setup team were effective, got the job done on the day with a nice tidy installation and completed very quickly.
The fully integrated Hanchu kit is excellent and automatically handles day to day - and the software is great if you feel the need to get your hands dirty. Thanks to all the team, particularly Carley & Ken.

Of all the solar companies I contacted for a quote, Brookfield were the only one to actually send someone out to have a look at our roof and loft space. Danny used to be an installer, and it gave me an enormous amount of confidence that he knew what he was doing when he produced a recommendation for us. We don't have a south facing roof, but Danny talked us through how an installation could work for us and what we could realistically expect to generate through the year and what we might save. The price was good, and the communication with Karen was excellent, so I was happy to proceed.

The installation was painless: there was a small hitch around the roof brackets which led to a small delay, but the process itself was absolutely painless (beware other companies that use contractors rather than their own team for installation).

The electrical work by Gavin was very, very tidy and the whole process was quick and easy from my point of view. Since the panels (and battery) went on and started generating power, we haven't paid a penny on electricity from the grid. Granted, it's July and a heatwave, but it's been so exciting to feel like we have become a part of the solution! The whole experience so far has vastly exceeded my expectations.

I'm very happy with the result and would wholeheartedly recommend Brookfield if you're interested in solar. Great service and a job very well done.

Be very careful wasting your time with this company. I contacted them for a solar clean. The customer service contacted me back really quickly and we agreed a price. Whilst booking the appointment she asked about any obstructions and I mentioned that below part of the solar panels was a conservatory. She asked about any other issues with access as my panels are on the back of my property. I said the window cleaner always manages to manoeuvre a long ladder through onto the back garden so that was not an issue as far as I was concerned.
An appointment was made but a couple of days before I was contacted and asked if I could rearrange the appointment as due to the hot weather they were behind with work which we agreed a new date of today.
Upon arrival of the 2 guys this morning straight away there was negativity from, the senior one asking how they were going to get the ladders to the back.
I showed and explained what the window cleaner does but he disregarded that. I therefore suggested access from a footpath at the rear and I would remove a fence panel that I was actually replacing as soon as the had been so it was no problem to take it out sooner. His response “how far will I have to walk". He then saw the conservatory and straight away said they couldn’t do it because of that. I said to them that I explained that there was a conservatory below some of the panels. It was quite clear this guy had put the job in the “to hard to do” folder and as we were talking and I said that to him he walked off towards his van swearing. When I challenged him on this he said he was talking about customers services , jumped in his van and drove off without even doing anything so a complete waste of time.
Having looked on the company website at the videos of panels being cleaned the guy stands above on the roof to clean them. There was definitely aces to do exactly that but it involved him walking further than he wanted to do so my panels didn’t get clean. A complete waste of time and an appalling attitude from one of the guys who clearly didn’t want to do the job.

Just amazing service! Had a quick response to my initial enquiry and had some great advice and quote back within a few days. I was stunned at how quickly the install went, 15 panels and 4 batteries finished within less than a day! Very happy with my new Hanchu setup, haven't used a drop from the grid since the install. Not only is our usage covered we are getting paid for exporting on sunny days at the moment. Very happy with my investment and would not hesitate to recommend Brookfield to anyone.

Please read all reviews for this company before paying any money. There is another review which mirrors our experience. We had our panels installed on the 13th of June and experienced issues with the system not heating the water after a couple of days. It worked initially and then stopped working. My husband has spent several days, time and energy trying to get them to come out to look at it but no one is responding to our issue. The ‘project manager’ is very affable but does not seem to be able to make anything happen. In essence, we have a system that we have paid a lot of money for but that doesn’t work. We wish we had gone with a larger company!

Brookfield Renewable Energies recently completed a large solar panel installation at Tickhill Cricket Club. The results are fantastic and the performance has surpassed our expectations.

The team that completed the works were excellent and we would recommend Brookfield to anyone looking to install solar panels.

What a great service from start to finish. No sub contractors are used all in house so they have ownership and take a pride in their work . If you are looking I strongly recommend you give them a call you will not be disappointed.

Gavin and his team were very prompt. Very tidy and organised. Very neat installation. Explain the system and the back up provided by Brookfield.
Karen and the office very efficient keeping us informed of times and dates with friendly banter.
Price better than other quotes(octopus + others) for a better spec system with back up and servicing.

Having had panels fitted 5 years ago by this company I returned when I downsized from a house to a bungalow. They are very experienced and I did a lot of research into this company before using them the first time. The have not changed, still the same excellent service and loads of experience. I had a 13 x 450watt panels set up with Hanchu 5.12 battery and converter I am well pleased. I'm also a genuine happy customer !! ( not a made up one as you see in many reviews ) You cant go wrong using experienced fitters. They arrived 8.15 am and left at 11.45. Experienced fitters don't have problems.
Have a nice xmas. Forgot to mention, price was very good !!!

Very friendly people and did a excellent job cleaning the solar panels

Brookfield cleaned my solar panels. I had good communication from the firm. Pleasant operatives who did exactly what they promised. Joe knew what he was doing, and set to work as soon as he and his colleague arrived. The place was left just as they found it. My panels are already producing more electricity, so, a good investment having them cleaned.

They won't answer a call.

Everything promised was delivered in a friendly and professional manner and would not hesitate to recommend Brookfield. Great aftersales service with Engineer calling back to provide clarification when requested.

I did quite a lot of research prior to getting anyone to come out and quote us for some Solar panels and am very happy I chose Brookfields.

Ken the Project Manager that came to see us was great, he explained what he thought was the best option for our house and also went through the whole process great.

There was no hard sell (which would have changed my mind straight away) and Ken explained everything we needed to know.

On the installation date everything went smoothly and everything was up and running by the afternoon.

Since then we've generated more electricity that we need and we're looking forward to sending this back to the grid once the relevant paperwork is completed.

Overall I would have no problems recommending Brookfields, they did exactly what they said they would, on the day they said they'd do it and we're very happy with everything.

If you want to take control of your Energy Bill then get Brookfield Energy in to install a Solar System and Batteries. First Class service from the sales team Ken to Karren in the Office who organised everything and everyone. The Brookfield Team stand out from the rest not just on price but quality service. Fully Recommend.
