I have completed both my level 3 CAVA course and level 4 lead IQA course with Brooks and Kirk and I am very happy with the service received. The whole process was very smooth and helped me to complete my qualifications in a timely manner. All assessors are very helpful and are willing to provide you with as much support needed. I especially want to thank Laura for the continual support and guidance whilst completing my IQA course as she has been a massive help.

AET course with Brooks and Kirk was fantastic. From the first minute to the last. Constructive feedback, enjoyable micro-teach lesson. Very useful tips. They are very thorough and will not let you advance unless you meet all requirements for each assignment. It took me around two months to complete and I'm a full-time employee, so it is possible. This is definitely not the last course for me with Brooks and Kirk. I will be back soon!

The entire process from sign up to completion was simple. Customer service is excellent and they proactively keep in touch to offer help and advice.

Completing the learning material, uploading, receiving feedback and resubmission is easy through the online learning portal, and I was rarely waiting more than a couple of days for feedback, on some occasions getting it the same day.

Would highly recommend!

I chose Brooks and Kirk to do my AET and CAVA training and could not have made a better choice, they are very welcoming and very professional at what they do. The on-line platform (Moodle) makes it very versatile and easy to submit given tasks for assessment, which can be submitted at your own pace. It was very informative and a great experience. Although I have been a Trainer for many years, I had not been an assessor formally. Taking the course with Brooks & Kirk was a big decision because it would mean a change of direction for my future career.

Glad to say that I have completed the CAVA course and can’t thank the team at Brooks & Kirk enough. They provided support whenever requested, excellent feedback to all submissions and overall design of the course was relatively easy to follow.

Completion of the course has given me confidence to pursue my career as an assessor and with the course in the bag, I have applied for and got accepted for an Assessor post with a reputable, Ofsted Outstanding, training provider.

Recently finished the IQA level 4 Certification.
The staff at Brooks and Kirk were amazing from the start to finish.
Support was offered from day one, with a telephone and email service backing the students and staff.
Learning materials were delivered electronically, with graded work returned within just a couple of days.

I started my Course with Brooks and Kirks during mid pregnancy. There were times that I thought I may never complete my course. The Brooks and Kirks Assessors and support staff were so encouraging and helpful!
The best thing for me was that I didn't have the pressure to meet a deadline!

I have just completed the Lead IQA award following completion of the CAVA and AET previously.
I cannot fault Brooks and Kirk, the support, ease of use and depth of content and knowledge within the course are unprecedented.
The skill set I have gained within adult education has increased my qualifications and improved my opportunities economically within my sector. I recommend Brooks and Kirk fully.

What I liked about the L3 Award in EPA (End Point Assessing) course is that the course material s(videos and scenarios were relatable and comprehensive enough to learn and obtain the relevant knowledge and information to help me learn the basics about end point assessing.

Where my learner style is more on the visual and kinaesthetic side, the videos and the practical activities where I had to grade 2 apprentices were great. This certainly helped me to get a little practice in.

I do feel that since I had just completed my L3 CAVA (Assessors) qualification there was no time like the present to complete the L3 Award in EPA -End Point Assessing. For those who wish to assess apprenticeships in the endpoint assessing stage, in my personal opinion, it makes more sense to complete the L3 assessing qualification first and then move onto the Award in EPA should you choose to. This is because, as an assessor you'll understand the distinct difference in roles between an EPA Assessor and that of an NVQ Assessor.

What I also liked about the course, is that I did not have to go outside of the course to find relevant resources as all the learning materials are provided for you.
