Shocking to see that Georgina and Co are still cheating west london renters. I experienced the very same thing back in 2010. Charges for minor things, withholding deposits, not fulfilling their responsibility to fix leaks and other issues, arrogant comms etc. They insisted that an electrician had left some tiny lamp bulbs in the property and then charged a £50 call-out charge to replace the spare bulbs after I checked out. They wanted to charge me for a new dresser 2.5 months after I had moved out claiming that there was a spot of red nail polish hidden under a lamp during check out. These are just examples of their poor attitude and lack of decent and professionalism. Avoid

LANDLORDS AND TENANTS STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

Brutens found me tenants for my parking spot twice. Each time, the tenant stopped paying rent before the tenancy ended and disappeared. The tenants also did not return my FOBs for opening the garage doors. Brutens held the security deposits for both tenancies with DPS and I asked them to initiate a claim against the deposits for the unpaid rent and FOBs. Brutens outright refused, told me they had not been engaged to do that and to call DPS or visit their website and handle it myself. DPS refused to speak to me because the account was with Brutens. I was so disgusted with Brutens that I vowed to never hire them again.

Two years later, to my great surprise, a notice come to me that Brutens had claimed the deposits on my behalf and that the money would be released to Brutens - I could not believe it - unbeknownst to me (I had not a word of contact with them in 2+years), they were stealing my deposit.

I wrote to them requesting that they return my deposit money and they responded by making up a bunch of fake fees (none of which were ever authorized including an hourly rate of GBP485 for someone's time) so that they could keep the entire deposit AND, to add insult to injury, claim that I actually owed them additional money for their time spent!

I cannot believe that they are asking me to pay them for stealing my deposits without my knowledge!!

These people are highly experienced liars and fraudsters. Do not have any dealings with them. Under no circumstances should you trust them with your money!!!!!

There are no words for how vile this couple are. In all my years I have never dealt with such unpleasant and unprofessional people ( Georgina and Gordon). They have been my agent for my property in central London and have:
- exposed confidential health information about my family to our tenant
- failed to carry out a single maintenance check to my property
- shouted several times at me and pointed finger at my face during disagreements
- defamed my character by saying completely untrue things about me to my tenant

I'll leave my own experience with them at every chance that I get! I can't believe how they are still open and running! The incident goes back to 2014 but I will never forget about their behaviour!

They are one of the worst agents in London! Completely rude, unprofessional and liars!
I wanted to rent a flat with them back in 2014, we went through a pre-contract, and I paid £400 upfront for the flat! and then started to fill some other forms. The day that they were supposed to give me the keys to the flat, I called them and the agent said we rented the flat to some else with a higher offer and so If you want to talk about it you have to book an appointment with us!! I went to their office to talk to them face to face but they asked me to leave (not in a polite way) and call them for an appointment. Long story short: It took them 4 months to refund me after I made a complaint to the TPO. The TPO never deals with this stuff but my case was so interesting for them that they got involved!

Brutens even tried to threaten me leaving them a 'bad review and force me to remove my review from AllAgents.co.uk by saying I was never their genuine customer! But guess what? The bank transactions record stay forever! They post a £400 check after 4 months, no letter included and no apology note!

They were rude to my father and me, and I never forget the trauma they caused for me. I won't even mention the costs they caused as I had to stay in the hotel for a while!! Avoid them if you have any respect for yourself.

Do not even go to this company. It’s fake. They are two scammers Gordon and Mexican wife Georgina. Both real Criminal scammers. They took all our money , we came from China , sign all the documents and paid deposit and then they pulled the offer and said will not refund us the deposit. They are hiding in the office and don’t pick up phones and lock themselves in the office. 60 years old real criminals, tricking you to get your money. They have few properties only and they never rent them, only posting and convincing you to pay them deposit and then they run away. We have reported them to the police and taking them to court!

I believe they are the worst. They bully customers and have no manners or respect. I tried to rent a flat with them back in 2014; however, after I paid the deposit and signed the pre-contract, they rented the flat to someone else and didn't notify me about it. The day I was supposed to get the keys, they didn't reply to my emails, so I went there, and the agent told me he doesn't have time to talk to me, and I have to book an appointment with him!! Very rude to me and my father! His name was Sam Jones. He wasn't answering my questions and told me that I had to leave the agency and book an appointment to talk about the money they owed me. It took 4 months for them to send my deposit back by cheque, without apologising. I had to move to a hotel for a week, which cost me more than £400! I never forget the way they treated us in their office in Notting Hill Gate! Imagine I was there to get my keys to move in, but instead, a rude person telling me that agency rented the flat to someone else and If I have a problem with that I have to book an appointment and come back to the agency later! a few years later they tried to remove my review from one of the agency review websites by accusing that I've never been their customer and I'm a fake account! The admin of the website contacted me because he was suspicious of their accusation. I sent the admin all the documents and bank transactions that I had with Bruton & Co., so they kept my review. It's been 11 years and I'm still waiting for their apology.

Outrageous level of service! Bruten and co has ruined my life entire life since the past three month. My flat got flooded because of the negligence of my upstairs neighbor. I called Bruten and co straight when the leak started from the chandelier, Friday 17th may. They did not do anything nor sent a plumber nor even came in the property. My neighbors had to repair the leak and Bruten and co told me I could live in the property with holes in the ceiling! I’m allergic to house dust! Three month later I have now moved ten times in total as I couldn’t stay there. Bruten and co told me I made it up and it was only a spoonful of water!!! Shocking! I’m still fighting to get my deposit back! They charged me for rent and cleaning the property! Scandalous!
They made my life hell and I lost a lot of money and so much stress! Avoid them like the plague!
