Not Recommended For Serious Traders Who Need Flexibility
Unfortunately the website allows trading in a variety of quite risky and complex cryptocurrency instruments (pairs, swaps etc.) but will not allow you to transfer any cryptocurrency out of their trading platform due to the inherent risk! This is really the pot calling the kettle black - what a ludicrous position to take. If I could have given a zero I would have. We all know the risks of trading cryptocurrency, as well as the potential, and they are just that, potential, rewards. I bought BTC in 2020 when it was trading at around AUD$7,000 and sold most of my holdings when it reached AUD$59,000 - how stupid was I? Well I made a handsome profit but I would have made more if I had held them for longer. None of us know the future, certainly not BTC Markets!

Long Time User - Positive Experience
I have used BTC markets for investing and occasionally trading for over a decade. This Australian based company makes a genuine effort to provide timely and helpful support to customers and has been very communicative and receptive of my suggestions to improve their software.
While BTC markets offers a limited selection of tokens compared to the big players they also offer some great free tools and you can usually assume that the tokens they offer are genuine projects with real prospects not meme coins or other high risk tokens.
Obviously you'll still need to do reseaech and inform yourself before making any investment decisions but this company has provided consistently excellent service for almost a decade.
I have never had any issue moving funds or tokens into or out of the exchange and the smartphone app offers a quick way to check prices or portfolio when you're away from a desktop.

Site works well enough
Site works well enough, exchange has never given me any issues and attempts to push us into the no doubt higher commissions of the "simple trade" option aren't too pushy. Bit quick to hand over all our data to the government for my tastes but that's the "market standard" these days so ho hum. Also the regular emails asking for a review of the site are mildly irritating, hopefully I won't receive any more after providing this review. I'm certainly not reading your guidelines for reviewers either - if you don't trust me to write a review of your site without instructions then don't f#@king ask me (see how I'm thoughtfully self censoring their)!

I wanted to purchase another $2000 of bitcoin so went through the usual process that has always worked for me and have been happy with. A new simple process popped up so I went along and found it more information available about the commodity but prices at time or best price not available. I assumed it would execute at best price, so I bought. The price was around $132400 at the time but when I looked, I payed $134771.33. Why? The price is still at $132760.73 at time of writing, which is the time it has taken me to investigate, try to comprehend and email BTC as well as find somewhere my concerns may get an audience. Not much to some may be unacceptable to others. Never had an issue before this. What is happening here? I have the screenshots.
Your answer dosent explain why your market had sellers at $132760 and the price did not rise any time soon on your market.

From despair to success
I was using another provider and could not obtain my funds from selling some of my Zcash as I could not set up a bank account. I used my sale proceeds to purchase Bitcoin with you and then sold it. The process only took less that 8 minutes whereas the other provider had my funds for over 3 weeks and every time I tried to obtain them, I was unsuccessful. I couldn't even have it transferred to my Bankcard but I could buy with it.
