This was our first time selling at auction. We asked Eddisons (or SDL as they were) to handle 2 properties for us and we are very happy with the experience. Paul Parker and Sam Rashid were efficient, personable, responsive and extremely hard-working. We never had to chase. They smoothed the whole process, including making property visits upon request for insurance purposes. Highly recommended

Didn't receive the contract until I asked for it, 2 months after signing it. It wasn't explained to me that I'd lose my cooling off period - when I should have received the contract, and had the chance to read the terms and conditions . Was strongly led to believe that the property would achieve the reserve price. On sale day, when it didn't sell, I was NOT told that all the bids had been "off the wall". Had I known this I would have switched agents. Instead of which, you continued to show the house, so ANY agent would have been unable to sell without you getting 4.8%. "Shockingly misled and lacking information I should have had on day 1" is how I'd characterise my experience.

It all seemed much simpler than normal house sales.

After trying to sell a very hard to sell house via the usual estate agent route I decided to use Eddisons to auction it. James Vandenbrook was extremely efficicient and explained the auction process to me. James always returned my calls/emails and kept me updated. Eddisons conducted the viewings which was useful. The whole thing was easy, clear and straightforward. I put trust in James's knowledge as an auction expert and the house sold for more than expected. I would highly recommend Eddisons, their expertise is second to none. Thanks James.
