THIS RUBBISH COMPANY IS DEFINITELY NOT RUBBISH!
I used this company to dispose of the unsaleable contents of a house. I found them to excel in every respect. They were easy to contact by phone, we agreed a price in advance, they supplied a man and a truck which arrived at the time booked. The cheerful driver quickly loaded the truck and the job was done. No mess, no fuss. Most importantly, they supplied a weight ticket, after unloading, which proved the quantity disposed and provided me with written proof that our waste had been sent to a properly licenced site.

Great service
Driver polite. Request for a call before delivery was done. Delivered and picked up with no issues. Took out all the hassle of having to load car and go backwards and forwards to the dump. Will be using again.

I’ve used this company for the last six…
I’ve used this company for the last six or seven skips without any major issues, which is why I continued hiring from them.
However, my most recent experience was disappointing. They contacted me to say the skip was overfilled. I accept it may have been slightly over, but it was no different to previous collections. This time, though, I was asked to remove roughly half the contents before they would collect it, which I did.
Despite that, the skip was only collected three days later, and then the actual pickup happened the following week.
More concerning, after the collection I noticed that my pop-up gazebo — which was placed between my shed and the skip — had gone missing. It was there before collection and gone immediately after. I contacted the company twice by email about this and have received no response.
I’ve been a repeat customer, so this experience is disappointing. Reliability and communication matter, especially when property goes missing. I hope the company improves how it handles customer concerns.

Regarding the overfilled skip, we need to be very clear on this point. The 4-yard skip was filled well beyond its safe and legal capacity, containing an estimated 6+ yards of waste and built up with “greedy boards.” This created an unsafe and illegal load, which we are not permitted to transport under any circumstances. For the safety of our drivers and the public, we had no option but to request that the excess waste be removed before collection.
Once the skip was made safe, collection was arranged as soon as possible within our operational schedule. We appreciate that waiting is frustrating, but we cannot collect skips that are overloaded or unsafe.
With regard to the missing gazebo, we take accusations of lost or removed property extremely seriously. We do not ignore customer complaints or concerns. However, we have no record of receiving emails about this issue. We would ask that you confirm which email address you contacted, as it is possible the message was sent to a “no-reply” address, Rycote Recycling email address no longer in use, or did not reach our customer service inbox.
Our drivers do not remove customer property, and nothing was reported by the driver at the time of collection. That said, if you contact us directly through our main customer service email sales@bucksrecycling.co.uk or phone number 01296 651678, we are more than willing to review this further.
We always aim to be reliable, communicative, and safe — and while we’re sorry this experience fell short of your expectations, we must also operate within legal and safety requirements.
