This has been a life line to our Mum and our family. She says good morning and goodnight... we know she is safe. Also when she has had a fall or knock one of her 5 buddies responds immediately... this is an invaluable tool for her to feel we are right there by her side. Our family would highly recommend!

I purchased Buddi for my mother following a number of falls. Unfortunately the product has been a total disappointment and has spent more time not working at all than working. Sent back a few times for replacement but still the same problems. Would not recommend as gives no peace of mind or reliable protection.

Quite reliable tech, excellent response times and cooperation with the alarm centre. Occasional over-sensitivity on the wrist band would be one point, and it would be good if there were a reasonably generous transfer scheme for loyal customers to the new phone + wristband tech, as it necessitates a change of units.

I use buddi for my disabled son, who sometimes gets lost when travelling alone on public transport. The buddi technology has allowed me to ‘rescue’ my son on several occasions. It is a simple, straightforward system that works consistently well. Also, it has always been a pleasure to speak to the people at buddi.

I ordered a Buddi several years ago as I was experiencing more falls, both indoors and outside, resulting in broken bones and hospital attendances. The family were worried and chose this system to help protect me. Buddi is excellent, but the monthly outlay is quite expensive. I have not tended to use it so much since I started to use a tri-walker when shopping, etc., but it remains useful when I am gardening. If my husband is not with me, he should be contacted should I fall outside, which is reassuring. From Diana Faulkner.

My mother broke her clip and needed it replaced (though it did still work) and this was done very quickly - next day. Whenever there is a problem the helpdesk and technical have been excellent.

I am a fully active 74 year old but I have had a stroke and a few heart problems. My Buddi gives me peace of mind that no matter where I am, I am not alone. It also stops my family worrying about me when I am out, be it on my cycle or in a hotel. I hope never to use it but it is a very cheap insurance to provide security and stops everyone worrying.

I brought a Buddi for my mother four years ago after she had a heart attack. It is absolutely excellent it gives my sister and I peace of mind as well as my mother. The day to day service is fantastic and the customer service when you have an issue or a problem is the best I have ever encountered. If you have someone you care about who lives on their own or someone who wants a little more confidence to go out on their own then this is a must. I can't recommend this product highly enough it's some of the best money I have ever spent.

This is the second Buddi I have bought. The first was for my mum - old style with a base unit. No issues at all. Excellent.
The second, bought more recently for my husband, has clip charger for the wristband and this is not as effective in charging. Often starts to charge but then stops - I've had to use elastic bands and bulldog clips to clamp the clip to the wristband in order to get a charging connection. The wristband is very tight and sometimes falls off, not always alerting the call centre. The two fastening metal studs seem to have tarnished badly.
However,when everything is charged, this does exactly what is says on the tin and is a great asset in keeping my folks safe. The call handlers are excellent at their job, always courteous and make sure all is ok before they end the call.

I’ve been a customer for many years and I no of other people that also have a Buddi device.
It’s just a shame that some of the people that I also no that would benefit from having one haven’t listened to me as yet but maybe one day they will.

I purchased this for my mother after a fall, it arrived quickly and looked well made. Plugged in the clip which I had purchased as my 84 year old mother does not have a mobile phone. That charged quickly and showed a green light in about 1 hour, the wrist strap showed no lights so I contacted customer services who I must say answered quickly and are very good. The man said to remove the white cartridge from the strap and put that in the charger but it still did not charge after wiggling and wedging it with a piece of plastic I managed to get it to charge but it took several hours not the 1 hour as I was told. The man on customer services ordered a new charger which arrived 2 days later but again would not charge the wrist strap. I decided that as it holds a charge for approximately 2 weeks that I would be able to get it to charge with the plastic wedge when I visited so decided put it on my mothers wrist. Unfortunately the strap is so small it did not fit so I contacted customer services to see if I could get a larger size but was told "they are one size only" I measured the smallest wrist size adjustment to the largest wrist it will fit they are 10cm (4") wrist to a 19cm (7.5") wrist. 10cm seems very small and I can't imagine that fitting anyone apart from a baby and the largest size is only 19cm an average size person. My mother who suffers from oedema and has a high chance of falling has a wrist size of 23cm it would be very easy for this company to produce silicone straps in different sizes, imagine if we all had to wear shoes the same size!!!!!
