Cannot speak to anyone who understands how UK car accident repairs work
Seem to be all international call handling my guess South Africa so do not understand UK procedures all they can do is repeat your words like a robot.
They need UK call handlers.
They do not call you to inform you about claim progress you have to make 6 calls made in one day getting sent from one department to another as nobody seems to have a clue about what the status of the claim is however courtesy car provider have been informed the car needs to returned by 5pm today and it is 2pm.
Told to call underwriter so Ageas who say they are unaware of any claim and to call the broker Budget for a u-turn pack. Meanwhile car is not repaired after 3 weeks returned by bodyshop as they cant blend paint in over previous repair.
Tried to raise a complaint and "customer services" people just hang up on the call happened 3 times instead of saying we do not understand or we cannot help let me pass you to the UK they just hang up.
When you get through again and ask to speak to a Manager they say not available or in a meeting which is lies part of the script. They say complaint registered and someone will call back but that was again lies as they just hang up and no call back so always ask for a reference number for the complaint as they need to fill out a form and provide you with a reference number.
They have been trained well how to frustrate and anger you as a customer.
Total time on phone today 3 hours and no progress
This was non fault 3rd party admitted liability so I cannot imagine what it would be like if it was an at fault claim.

At least 10 days to even start a claim???
Unfortunately a friend had an accident leaving our driveway over a week ago and between Budget and Covea (their claims partner) they still haven’t managed to assess, photograph or progress the claim/repair at all. Their only answer is that it can take ‘up to 10 days’. Surely that is unusual and unacceptable. Our friend is stuck with no public transport, her car is stranded on our drive and there appears no way forward. Getting through to anyone takes perseverance and the patience of a saint.

Do not buy !! I called to cancel before my policy even started as I found a much cheaper policy and they would not allow me to cancel without losing half of my deposit, the lady on livechat was very rude and when I called to speak to a manager I was told I would receive a call back in 24 hours, 2 days later and still no callback
