Excellent experience with the BuildaDrive team from start to finish. The initial planning and quotes were done with skill, empathy, clarity and patience. The work itself was done by teams who worked really hard with clear skills and excellent communication during the perhaps inevitable snags related to our property and us changing our minds about details. We are delighted with the final product which in many ways has exceeded our expectations up to now. The 10yr guarantee with what looks to be a stable business is extra reassurance.

From start to finish, BuildaDrive were extremely professional in handling the much needed repairs to my extensive 200 square metre Tarmac driveway. From initial survey and discussions, followed by provision of a detailed and well organised 'job pack' of the work to be undertaken. Then the actual repair work involving extensive groundworks, followed by high pressure cleaning of the old drive surface, and final application of bonding coat and then the new Tarmac, All this took place over 5 days, not rushed, allowing each phase to settle before starting the next phase. Each team worked really hard and skilfully. I have no hesitation at all in recommending BuildaDrive to anyone who is wanting a new or renewed driveway.

Returning customer, after defective fence post moving after 3 years, contact made to Andy/Aiden to put right. Sent out his team Declan/Joe who very hardworking and accommodating to see to the issue, new longer fence post put in and cut out existing grout and repointed patio where slight cracks appeared. Tom came out did a marvellous job pressure washing the drive and patio.

Highly communicative company, from the initial quote to the workmen themselves. Kept us updated on the process. There was an issue at the end of the build, but they dealt with this quickly and amiably, leaving us with a lovely drive. Would definitely recommend.

Mark visited us initially to survey our driveway and offered his insights into how we should go about the project. He gave us a quote on the day and left us to consider everything he had said - no pressure.
The price was competitive and very fair for our project.

Really good price for the work. Quick efficient job done. There was a delay on some of the materials but the team worked some extra hrs to ensure the delay wasn’t passed onto me so that was appreciated. Happy with the quality of the work.

matt and his team came and took the old drive up and explained everything to us how it would be dun 130sm so not a small drive to do also put new fence all around changed the lay of the land for drainage and dug a natural drain away to stop the pooling I used to get

We had been searching for a company to re place our ageing driveway, and had some seriously over inflated quotations from various companies .By chance we found Buildadrive and using their on line cost calculator we were pleasantly surprised. From start to finish their approach was refreshingly professional friendly and most importantly honest, giving what we know was correct and best advice.Mark visited and the quotation was pretty much exactly that quoted from the website.
The team that came were a really good hardworking friendly crew led by Declan, and the project although quite large and complicated -involving both our and our neighbours joint driveway was completed on time and communication was exceptional.We had no deposit to pay and were told that payment was due only when we were completely satisfied with the end result.
They certainly were able to live up to their promise as the build was excellent with time taken to take all of our views into account .I can only praise the whole attitude and attention to detail of this company and cannot recommend them highly enough -especially as we felt the price was extremely competitive.

The company gave us a quote quickly and explained what the job would entail. They gave ideas and the lads who did the job were tidy, friendly and good workers. Our driveway was an absolute mess but now is a lovely gravel driveway. Thank you!

We highly recommend build a drive, we had a tarmac drive and fencing done in November 2023. From them coming to give us a quote and doing the drive the team were very professional and excellent at their job. We were informed daily what was being done and Kevin and his team worked in horrendous weather conditions to complete the job on time. We can’t thank them enough for a job well done.

What a fantastic result and experience from Buildadrive!

I can not praise this company enough; from the quotation to the completed job they did exactly what they said they would do when they said that they would do it. They didn't want any payment until the job was complete, and this goes to show how confident they (rightly) are in their work. The whole team was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that my drive looked fantastic. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to friends and family.

We had just moved into our bungalow and decided we wanted the whole of the front, over 120sq metres block paving.

As always we got 3 quotes. Build a Drive were not the cheapest but the way the company structure was explained by Mark the representative impressed us.

We decided to go ahead immediately but had to wait a while because they were so busy. This was obviously a good sign.

Day one, all materials turned up and the drive started.
We had been shown samples and colours by Mark and were given a plan on how everything would proceed.
The colours of the tumbled paving blocks beautifully matched the house.

They had to dig up all the grass and start from scratch.
It was exciting to see the drive taking shape.

We were so impressed as to how things were going we decided to give them the job of completely re- designing our back garden.

We now have a beautiful frontage to our home and a beautiful back garden which we can now enjoy this summer.

Andy one of the directors kept in touch with us, he came on the final day to make sure we were completely satisfied which we found a nice touch.

May we add that this company was the only company out of all the quotes that did not want paying until the job is complete and the customer fully satisfied. This shows they are confident in doing a good job

Very disappointing with this company. They rang us to reschedule a number of times with various excuses, not to mention the inconvenience it caused to our work arrangements and life. We have waited 3-4 months and eventually convinced they are coming, 2 days before the work to be commencing, they rang again the third time and said the job was underquoted, and needs requoting. After we hung up the phone, they had the cheek to send a new quote with over £3000 increase, mainly in labour.

I would rate this company a zero star and would not recommend to anyone.

To put the story straight, your original quote was about £1500 higher than average quotes we have received from others however considering the whole approach and consultation sounded professional and you accept credit card payment and pay upon completion which makes it scam proof hence we have confirmed to put the trust in you. You then confirmed a go-head date to begin the job with a very long waiting time 3-4 months, which we also accepted in the hope good thing is always worth of the wait.
2 weeks before the agreed time, you emailed to say there was a mixed up in your system, you cannot come, hence the schedule needed to push 2 weeks behind, although it was annoying, we had to rearrange/cancel our time off work etc ...to work around your mixed up, we took it as human error happened, then came the due date that you rescheduled the second time, you rang again and said there was labour shortage of some sort so you could not come and you promised to turn up in 2 weeks time. We again have been messed around, cancelled our time off work and other life commitments...etc., despite all these we sticked to the deal and hope the third time lucky you would turn up and come and do the job before Christmas; then the dreadful phone call rang again on Friday night, 2 days before you supposed to turn up to start the work, you were telling us, you have under quoted. Let me ask you, if you genuinely under quoted from the start, you would not schedule/reschedule us this many times for the job and Mark would not come and visit again to confirm the specification required and shake on the deal.

Every word said here is the truth, nothing but the painful truth. If you dont want the job, dont waste people's time.

Great communication, professionalism and punctuality. Most of all, they did a great job of the drive. Even when things went badly (someone stole their dumper truck off our drive!), they were supportive and still kept to their timescales. Cannot recommend them enough, especially when several other companies had previously let us down.

Can’t recommend this company highly enough. From the initial quote through to completion of a new drive the team were fantastic. They really do crack on and get the job done, even working through a bank holiday. The quality of workmanship is outstanding.
