From first contact Buildadrive were superb.
Mark did our first visit and quote and then followed up with further visits as we did change our minds a few times.
Mark was always helpful and gave us some great advice.
Chris was also a great help when we needed to call him.
The lads on the job were excellent, super friendly and really cracked on and once again, offered advice and suggestions as the work was on-going.
Honestly, it truly was first class from the first visit through to the lads on the job.
We had a party a few days after the drive was finished and every single person commented on how good the driveway now looks.

Our existing block-paved drive adjoining a neighbour's at a slightly lower level was originally edged with timbers. After ten years, they had begun to rot and soften. I contacted Buildadrive,
The decision was made to carefully remove the timbers and replace with vertical concrete slabs, making good the remaining gap with blocks to match the neighbours existing ones. A small but tricky job. The work was completed quickly and accurately, not disturbing my existing drive which was a worry. Everything was left clean & tidy by the workers. We're really happy with the standard of work. Cheers!

Buildadrive have just completed a patio and driveway in Indian Stone at my home and it looks terrific, very much enhancing the 'kerb appeal' of my property.

Throughout the build I have been impressed by the logistics of the operation which ensured that plant and materials were on site at the optimum time and also by the skill and diligence of Mark and his team. Despite the often appalling winter weather the team kept as close as possible to the project timeline and kept us informed at every stage. Overall an excellent job from a company that has been resourceful, obliging, competent, thorough and competitively priced.

Excellent service from start to finish, would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a new driveway installed. Very happy with my new driveway!

Really pleased with my new driveway. Some of the companies who quoted for me said they couldn’t do Indian flagstones on driveways and tried to push for me to have a resin drive. So glad I didn’t go with that - the indian flagstones look great. The lads worked really hard, did a great job and I am really glad I chose them. Also have already had lots of compliments from neighbours. 👍

We needed a sinking 70s driveway and lawned area digging up and turned into a large parking area with borders for planting. Build a drive were very competitive with their price but it was their attention to detail and 10 year guarantee that swung it for me. They said it would take 4 days and I was highly sceptical at this; it was a big job. Mark the builder was fantastic and I have never seen someone work so hard - he had the whole job done from start to finish in 2.5 days! We couldn't believe it. The aftercare customer service has been great too. They even sent someone to wash down the pavements. I highly recommend this company.

From asking for a quote to completion of our new tarmac driveway, we were extremely impressed by the professional and knowledgeable manner shown by all working at Build a drive. We got the exactly the driveway we were wanting with no pressure sales and dealing with friendly and polite people.
Everyone worked tirelessly and efficiently to build the drive. They treat our property and that of our neighbours with respect, leaving everywhere clean and tidy each day. The work is of an extremely high standard and we are more than pleased with the result.
Throughout the works Chris spoke to us several times to check that all was to our satisfaction.

A brilliant job, Buildadrive!
We found Buildadrive on line and were impressed by the photos and testimonials.
From the first visit from Andy to completion we were impressed by the professionalism of this company.
Initially we had planned to have a resin drive at the front and side of the house but then decided to have the patio and paths in the back garden replaced with Indian stone.
Living in a cul-de-sac with limited space, we had spoken to our neighbours about the proposed work. Feedback from our neighbours afterwards was that the Buildadrive team was courteous and accommodating, moving vehicles immediately to facilitate access.
Mark led the team and set the standard. They arrived early, worked hard and left the site safe and tidy every day. He kept us informed of every stage and dealt with a couple of unexpected drainage problems with good humour!
The whole process was well organised, materials arrived on time and debris was cleared without delay.
The finished drive and patio have transformed our house and we have received many compliments from friends and neighbours.

An excellent job. The highly skilled team worked worked well together and were friendly and helpful. Their measuring and cutting was a feat of precision engineering. The drive has been much admired. Highly recommended.

We recently had some work done by build a drive. They fully landscaped the back garden which included laying 2 patios and a path with Indian stone and replacing a broken down wall and rotten sleepers with new sleepers. The whole team were professional and the work they did is to the highest standard. The work was over looked by Chris at all stages and he made sure the work was to the highest standard. The whole work is guaranteed for 10 years which is not available with many companies.

Very pleased with driveway the builders were very hardworking polite and knowledgable from start to finish and completed a quality job. Thank you

We contacted Buildadrive to quote on the build of a patio round the side of our property, extending into the garden.

All through the process the buildadrive team were excellent from providing a timely, competitive quote to having the team on site and getting the work completed.

Dave and team were great on-site, keeping us up to speed with progress and making sure we were happy with all aspects of the work.

As the job progressed a couple of unforseen issues arose and we were given a number of options each time on how we could address them. After the job completed our front drive was left imacullatly (where they had been in and out through the job) and there was no request for payment until we were 100% happy with all aspects of the work.

Overall we would absolutley recommend Buildadrive and will certainly use in future for any ground work jobs we have.

During one of the hottest weeks of the year, the Build A Drive team worked tirelessly and almost without breaks to replace our old concrete drive with tarmac. We are delighted with the results. Throughout the work we were kept informed of the stages of progress, and the final result exceeded our expectations with a fine level of detail. Would recommend this company without hesitation!

Brilliant job. Build a Drive had been recommended to us and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish, the communication has been great, keeping us up to date on what to expect. The lads carrying out the work were amazing, really professional job and they all worked so hard. Don't hesitate to give them a call, you won't be disappointed.

We had been searching for a company to install a drive for some time and after a number of companies let us down and messed us about we were starting to feel we wouldn't find a company. Then totally by luck i came across a recommendation on Facebook for Build a Drive. Even though they are fairly local to us, we hadn't come across them before but i am so glad we did. Initially completing the instant quote online, within half an hour i received a courtesy call to discuss how they can assist me. We made an appointment for a few days later. Right from the start, we were met with professionalism, courtesy but most of all knowledge. We have no idea when it comes to things like this so having the trust in the company is imperative. We were advised what is the best plan and material to use for our needs, along with timeframes, costs and the process. On providing a formal quote a start date was received quicker than expected. I received regular calls from the office providing me with updates and what to expect running up to the start date along with all through the process. I didn't have to call to chase or follow up any queries once, that was a major plus for me following all the messing about with previous companies. On the first day the excavation of the area was completed, leveled and first base hardcore installed. I was surprised how much had been completed in a short timeframe. The next day was the edging for the drive and vehicle crossing ready for the first level of tarmac. The final process was the finish and top level of tarmac. Taking the advice to have a wider area and choose tarmac was the best decision we made. Our street is often met with lots of parked cars due to a school being close by, having the extra width enables us to park no matter where cars are parked. The tarmac is perfectly smooth and angled slightly for drainage which has definitely been put to the test over the last couple of weeks of heavy rain, no puddles and the rain just simple runs off the tarmac. Couldn't be happier with our drive, best decision we made to have Build a Drive complete it. Thanks to all the staff at Build a Drive! We 100% recommend them.
