We had our tub delivered in June and built in the garden due to access difficulties it had to be lifted over the fence. I was very stressed about this to say the least but everything went very smoothly all down to Andy keeping everyone right and working as a team I had organised 5 helpers + Andy.
Once the tub was built Andy went over all the dos and don’t and advised joining buildaspa Facebook group all very helpful.
We have used the tub just about everyday my husband is a paramedic I’m a nurse we find it totally distresses us after a long day at work.
I would recommend this to anyone the cost for our elec bill is approx £30 per month totally worth it

We had our hot tub built in the garden because of access issues. It had to be taken over a garage and over a fence. It was no problem for Andy who organised everyone and it got into my garden smoothly. After Andy had finished putting it together, he went through it all with us and was very helpful.
We’re thrilled to bits with our hot tub, it looks great and it’s so enjoyable. Because of the reasonable price we were able to purchase a large one. I would recommend Build a spa.

Excellent product, customer services were very prompt and would definitely recommend!

We were recommended to Build-a-Spa by a friend of ours, and after looking around for a while and visiting local showrooms we could not find anything that came in anywhere near on price, and since having the 'Nemesis' installed the quality is no less than more expensive ones.
Delivery - Just make sure you are prepared and it's probably better to have 2 people on hand as they are massive - Graham who delivered and positioned ours was fantastic, very knowledgeable and explained everything. He also delivered one to our parents the following week and I was there to help offload it, I only mentioned I was having trouble connecting the Bluetooth speakers and he straight away said he would pop in to have a look on his way to the next job - He replaced the Bluetooth circuit board and all has been great since.
We are so impressed with their customer service we would recommend them to anyone, they called and sent emails exactly when they said they would.
We would also definitely recommend the 'Nemesis' it is fantastic for relaxing and for a hydrotherapy massage it blows you out of the water.

Fantastic company to buy your hot tub from. Able to build what you want online and delivery was quick considering all the restrictions lately. Any time we needed to speak by email or phone we had a prompt reply. When delivery came, the driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. And had some calls from the company since to check everything is satisfactory with the hot tub. Lovely people, great service and one very happy family with a new hot tub!!

I had been looking for a while for a Hot-tub on the internet, lots of choice. Then came across "BuildaSpa" ('BaS')on Facebook > A UK builder!
Decided on Nemesis tub with extra's (4kw Heater extra insulation and additional LEDS inside. The support provided by BuildaSpa was 2nd to none all questions answered quickly and most importantly when delivery was schedule this was Kept to. Dan the delivery gentleman was very professional and with having to go through 2 neighbours gardens with our help, Hot-tub was sited. a quick guide into what and how to was provided. Since then a couple of minor things needed to be changed and 'BaS' team were on the case and items provided.
Weve had the tub for over 2 months now, and after reviewing the FB owners site have our chemicals sorted, water is a s clear as day filled. The Heat of water great and the power of Jets very relaxing. BuildaSpa have been fantastic the whole journey and great decision to buy from them and buying from British. This Hot-tub is our missed 2021 Vacation and we now have for many more years to come. I would recommend to anyone considering a Hot-tub.

We are so pleased with our new spa and the customer service has been excellent throughout. We had a problem with one of our lights and it was fixed the next day. Anyone considering buying a spa, then build a spa is the company to choose. Superb product and would recommend to anyone.

I was a bit sceptical at first that I chose to pay cash on delivery when ordering as I had not heard of this company before but...
I had no reason to be amazing service from build a spa had a fault with 1 of the jets and the speakers but they nipped it in the butt straight off sending a lovely an called Graham who was amazing very respectful he got soaked wet through but still plodded on bless him so thank you build a spa and Graham such an asset to the company

From the start to the finish everything ran smoothly could not fault BuildASpa and a big shout out to andy what a star and nothing was to much trouble for him 5 star service

We don’t have rear access to our garden and didn’t want to shut the road to get it craned over the house so Build a Spa seemed a perfect option. Andy along with my husband and willing neighbours helped lift the empty shell of the spa over the garage. Once in position Andy completed the spa build in our garden. After a few hours and thanks to Andy working tirelessly in the rain, the hot tub was completed and filled ready for use at the weekend. He was incredibly friendly and informative throughout. Thank you to Andy amd the rest of the team at Build a spa for making what seemed an impossible dream, a reality.

I was really pleased by the service and product provided by Buildaspa. They were able to install the tub in an almost impossible location and they stuck to the original delivery date, contacting me whenever it was needed. The man who delivered and installed the hot tub was excellent and took all the issues presented in our garden, in his stride.
Their after care, so far, has also been excellent.

Nemesis!

Overall it is a brilliant and beautiful looking hot tub and we are delighted with it! The power is unbelievable and great for sports therapy. The ability to isolate the jets in order to focus on certain seats is great, especially after being in the gym! We went for the grey exterior and grey interior. It’s very classy and looks great in the garden.

Having undertaken a lot of research we decided to go with Build a Spa due to the price.

The website was very off putting but a neighbour had a Build a Spa product and was able to give us information regarding delivery and electrics. The only niggle we had was the lack of information about the electrical installation and we had to get the electrician to come on the day, which we hadn’t realised.

Delivery experience was good - it was very difficult to get the spa into our garden but between the delivery driver and neighbours we were able to get it in. We even had to cut back a tree branch! Delivery driver was lovely and great fun! He went above and beyond to make sure we could get the tub in.

I would definitely recommend this product but ask about the electrics first so that you can line up your electrician.

We spent a lot of money sorting the garden out in order to better our hot tub experience. Don’t underestimate the size of the tub and the height required to lift the lid off - it’s massive!

Overall, we love the Nemesis and definitely think it’s worth spending the extra money on! It’s changed our way of living and we are healthier for it (apart from the extra beer we’re drinking in it)!

Issues - we connected my phone to the Bluetooth and have been unable to connect another device since. This is a real pain but we have not contacted customer service about this yet.

There are no drink holders with this tub.

Overall, customer service has been great!

Have advised family and friends to purchase this tub! Some small Nickles but we love it!!!

There are a few niggles, but before I go through them, there are three 5 star excellent reasons you should use this company, so read the whole thing and ignore anyone who leaves one star, because they are just here for the trouble.

The niggles
Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. They're all minor and don't actually affect the use of the tub or long-term ownership.
Website - it is terrible, it needs a re-write, it is difficult to use and the purchase process isn't good. If anything, it is detrimental to Buildaspa. You add your spa to the basket, then instead of asking what upgrades you would like, you have to search for add-ons, then add upgraded heaters and insulation separately. The 2021 brochure that you can access via the website is excellent, why not use the information and pictures in that? I'm pretty IT literate and I'm online a lot, so I can find my way around most things, but even finding dimensions or viewing colour choices is an unnecessary challenge. Last point, it's Darwen in Lancashire, not Darwin, Australia (they'll know what that means)!
Delivery information - Leaving it until the night before the due date is frustrating, especially if you need a crane (they're not cheap). Please invest in some sort of booking system. Just a few days notice would make all the difference.
Bluetooth - excuse the pun but this is their nemesis (I couldn't help myself). You won't believe in 2021 that it can't support more than one connection simultaneously. Even worse, you have to turn the hot tub off at the mains and back on again to connect to something new. Ultimately, after you've done this with each device, it's just a case of making sure everything else (Bluetooth) is off when you turn on the one you actually want to connect.

The Good stuff
Customer service - from the help when you are asking queries to the help when purchasing and throughout the process (aside from delivery info) and even after it was delivered really is good and a credit to the company, especially with the challenges they have no doubt faced during 2020/21.
Price - I did A LOT of research and I just couldn't find anything that balanced size, jets, loungers, quality of components (Bluetooth aside) for anywhere near this price. It isn't cheap, but I think it offers great value for money.
Hot tub - Yes, the whole reason you are here, what is the hot tub itself actually like? It's great, it's deep, hot, jets are powerful and it looks good. Lots of maintenance, just as important as any other hot tub you could purchase and just takes getting used to for a newbie.
Community - I've added this as I think it is a great feature. There is a Facebook group owned and moderated by the owners themselves. Buildaspa customer care do answer questions when specific to certain customers and there are loads of useful files, videos, hints and tips. This just shows you what the owners think of their investment.

Finally, it's British made, using the best components from around the world, even down to the shell. No worrying about whether it will arrive intact from Asia. Humans in good old Blighty to talk to, fast response to queries and a great delivery team that give you a simple walk-through on everything you need to know. I like to leave a fair balanced review when I write them, it's not all perfect, but they're very close. Once you're sat in it listening to relaxing spa music, sipping Champagne from your acrylic glass (no real glass anywhere near the tub!) you won't regret it.

This is a company that believes in customer service, from the very first contact build a spa have been most helpful, and any information I asked for has been readily given, spa Is fantastic and very pleased with our purchase of our zeus deluxe
