Thank you for your review, I am very sorry you believe we have disappointed you with our delivery. on investigation I have found that the confusion came from when you put a preferred delivery date in of 3/1/2024 which confused our online system because you placed the order on 29/1/2024 which is after this date. We have now corrected this issue so it shouldn’t happen in the future. The item however is in stock although it looks like the person dispatching the item waited until the 1/2/2024 to dispatch it thinking it was required on the 3/2/2024 as this was a Saturday and Parcelforce does not guarantee a weekend delivery it was delivered on the first business day Monday 5/02/2024 Thanks

I am deeply sorry you have not received your order yet; it is virtually impossible for us to contact the Royal mail at the moment as they do not answer support calls and respond to emails. Your order was sent out the same day as you ordered 1st class signed (our economy service that you choose).
Unfortunately like the majority of the UK, online suppliers are up against it with not only the Royal Mail but with all our courier companies due to the industrial strikes. I am sorry you felt the need to vent your frustration on us and give us a 1-star review because it does not give a true impression of our company and your unfair review as profound consequences on potential new customers.
We make our customers aware of the delays were ever possible with anything going out with the Royal mail and with it being all over the media 24-7 I thought you might have been more understanding. We welcome all feedback good and bad if it gives a true reflection on our company although I hope that when customers read your review, they see that it is unfair in the current situation.

Good service with friendly staff
I don't buy much plastic although on this occasion I decided to give it ago and save some money. My job for the weekend was to fit some gutters to my large shed and to fit a waterbut. I was at first going to use a standard half round gutter that I seen on the website then decided to give them call.
The friendly chap on the other end of the line pointed out a smaller version of the half round so decided to go with that. I also took some advice on the water butt as I didn't realise they supplied these and was going to get from my local diy store.
My order was delivered on time and I am truly happy with the finished result.

FRIENDLY AND AFFORDABLE
My second purchase from building plastics and I was very happy yet again with the service. The staff are polite and willing to help and not palm me off with something I dont need. When I made my first order the order arrived very quickly (Nextday) and was well packed. There was a small damage to one of the boards but this was rectified straight away without any hassle. My second order I received a phone call from a member of staff from building plastics who told me a cheaper way of doing things and saved me £30. I would without hesitation use building plastics again and recomemend to my friends.
