Reliable Plumbers

I have just had my annual boiler service from bumblebee heating in Warrington. I have found them to be very efficient helpful and very polite. I do have a maintenance contract with them and also advised my daughter to take one out which she has done. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Unsung hero.....

Not a heating and engineering review but a worthy one I would say!
I just want to say wow what a wonderful, caring company they are. A lovely guy in a black and yellow striped van, helped a damsel in distress when her car tyre was flat. They put my spare on and advised what to do next. I really couldn't thank the polite, caring, wise gentleman enough! I can imagine they would go above and beyond for anyone! Thank you so much, I am very grateful! 👌

Engineers tidy and polite and on time

Engineers were polite and were tidy workers. They took 2 days to install a boiler, 3 rads and a towel rail. They had to cut single plywood floors and since the beams had warped had used additional plywood to ensure no movement in the floor. All down piping was trunked and they found solutions to get around awkward challenges of the house build. I used them following a verbal recommendation. They also offer a discounted annual maintenance plan. Only one minor issue with the condenser pvc drainage pipe not fully connected causing drips onto worktop was fixed the week it was reported and was a 1 minute fix. I have no issues recommending them.

Excellent service

I've used Bumblebee for 3 years now for servicing the boiler and for the last 2 there has been no price increase which is rarely heard of in today's climate.
I would recommend Bumblebee without hesitation they are always polite and professional and also very reasonably priced

Extra radiator fitted .

Extra radiator fitted .
Fantastic service, excellent communication and Competitive price. Our engineer was Jack, the job was priced up in two phases however, Jack did all the work in one day. Jack left the site clean and tidy, everything was put back as he found it , I would definitely recommend this company and will use them for future work.

OVERPRICED!

Be forewarned that this plumbing service believes that they are worth nearly $300 an hour for labor. They charged my father $439 to install a garbage disposal that he already had in his possession. The total time of their service call, which included wasting time to provide a quote for $900 to install one of the disposals they had on their truck, was 1.5 hours. When I called to express my dissatisfaction with the price they then blamed my 77 year old father for agreeing to the fee. I would steer clear of this business.

Hi Amanda, you have the wrong business, we charge £ not $ as we are based in the UK not the US.

Furthermore, we don't install waste disposals or charge anywhere near that per hour. we would appreciate if you could remove your review as it could be very damaging for our company, when we are not the company who attended your fathers property, which I presume is in the US, not the UK as we are.

What an excellent service

What an excellent service ! Ten days from christmas -8 outside no heating or hot water. Bumblebee had it fixed in less than an hour. Truly grateful.

Fantastic Company!

We have used Bumblebee for the past 3 years now since we lived in Warrington. Every time the service has been fantastic, the team explain everything before and after the service is done. They even talked through why some rooms were hotter than others and recommendations as to how to resolve this. I would highly recommend them, in fact I have and several neighbours now use them.

New Boiler

In March, my boiler started to make some very strange noises, so I contacted Bumblebee, where an Engineer visit was booked. The boiler was very old, and it was soon apparent it needed to be replaced, it would be the case it happened in winter, where having a fully functioning boiler is a must! The Bumblebee Engineer (Steve) that came was extremely friendly, and explained the workings of my boiler and where it had failed. I chose to move from a standard boiler to a combi after the differences and benefits were explained. The service was faultless and Bumblebee organised it (thanks Ross), so it was all taken care of while I was away. I returned to my new boiler, a warm home and hot water! Other than the new boiler I’d have not known they’d been in the house.

Off the back of Bumblebee’s work I also opted to sign up to their boiler care, for the extra piece of mind and benefits this includes, to ensure my new boiler and all things heating will be maintained.

So thanks again to Ross, Steve and the team, I can highly recommend the company and their services. Sorry it’s taken so long for me to write a review.

5* Service- Excellent response time

Recently we joined a service contract with this firm after moving from a national Gas central heating service contract.
When i rang for a small radiator leak at about 9.00am today, I was pleasantly surprised to get an engineer on the same day at 11.00am!. What a great service by Ross, very pleasant and professional engineer. Thanks. Excellent value for money.

One star is to much

One star is to much, but there is no other option. Just have a phonecall from this company asking to pay outstanding balance 0f 72£. We have a quote from them before for 720 witch was very expensive. The guy came for a home visit it took him 20 minutes to check what we need. No information about the charge of that kind of visit was provided before and during and after the visit . Apparently there was an email send regarding this invoice that we never received, but surprisingly came shortly after todays conversation . Absolutely poor customer service. No information about this charge in terms and conditions. Anyway we did pay on the end to be free of any debt collectors, like the woman on the phone threatened. Feels like some kind of punishment that we didn't go for them and chose 300 pounds cheaper company. Avoid. in the reply you just put that you've been call to leaking radiator ,We didn't have liking radiator and you didn't send us emails and call us to collect ang outstanding money ,yesterday was the first time !!! WE ARE NOT BLIND TO DONT SEE THE EMAILS.What a lie.You send the guy to have a look what job would be required that is it. Your pety reply is full of crap.We have no problem of paying people for the job. Like I said non of this even been mentioned before so put your record straight. I've also told the woman on the phone that they should train staff better so the customer would get all the required information about any payments, a specially for non job done charges. When she call she mation first that the job was done so it was leak o the radiator, non existing one by the way and replacing 3 valves witch this company never done for us.When my husband said about 3 times that this wasn't done by bumblebee she change her story on the phone and said its for the diagnostic. So basically we have pay 72 for nothing not because we owned, no invoice been even mention like I said before.We payed to have a piece it's not massive money but poor customer service and lack of information deserves a honest and true review . As I familiar myself now with your attitude to wards customers I know exactly what to think and I did mention to the woman about the review and she said that is OK.WE DIDNT HAVE LEAKING RADIATOR AND YOUR ENGINEER DID NOT FIX ANYTHING!!!!!!

We were called by this customer for a leaking radiator. We explained that there would be a diagnostic charge of £72 which we have been doing for the last 4 years on every call that comes into the office, the customer had no issue with this and we booked the appointment. Our engineer visited the property and fixed the leak. In doing so explained that the problem was due to sludge and quoted for a powerflush.

After the work was completed we sent the invoice and attached the quote for further works. Funny how the customer has mentioned the quote but didn’t see the invoice? After numerous emails and calls to collect the £72 diagnostic charge the customer refused to pay. We then explained that we would pass to an external debt collection agency as per our T and Cs. Fortunately they paid up but not without saying that they would go out of their way to write bad reviews on here. We never want to leave anyone upset or for them to feel let down in any way and have wavered the diagnostic charge on numerous occasions however in this particular case the customer simply wanted us to fix their problem for free and we would not accept the charge they had previously agreed to.

Boiler and fire service

Had both my boiler and fire serviced, saved some money by doing both together at the same time. Very clean, very professional and offered sound advice. Will be added to my files and will be calling them again for my annual service.

We had Bumblebee Plumbing and heating…

We had Bumblebee Plumbing and heating out to fit our new boiler and two new radiators. They were Covid safe and wore face mask all the time they were here. Great service and we even took out their maintenance cover as very reasonably priced.

Great service and really nice to deal with. No mess at all. I would strongly recommend them to look after you.
