Not the motor home we booked based on website information
Broken and/or missing items
Supplied items were rock bottom quality
Motorhome was excessively dirty - returned for cleaning
Could go on

Was an awesome trip. Super easy pickup and drop off and communication was great. Best way to experience Ireland. Only feedback would be to add plastic plates and cups (very noisy while driving on the bumpy roads) and additional container to help cleanclean dishes.

Update: Bunk Campers responded below about messaging us privately which has not happened, I’m not surprised, their customer service is non existent. Make sure you look at other companies before this one.
We rented a campervan from Bunk Campers and, unfortunately, encountered serious issues with the vehicle almost immediately. Within a few hours of picking it up, we discovered that the grey water outlet was broken—any time water was used in the camper, it ran directly out of the vehicle. This made basic tasks like washing dishes or using the sink a frustrating experience.
We contacted customer care promptly and were advised to scan a QR code inside the campervan to access on-road support. However, we were unable to locate any such QR code in the vehicle. Days passed with no follow-up. Two days before our return date, I contacted support again—we were now on the other side of Ireland and I informed them we would address the issue once we returned, so as not to let it ruin the final days of our trip.
When we returned the trailer, the technician acknowledged that the grey water outlet was clearly broken and apologized that it wasn’t caught during inspection. He assured me he would send me the contact information to follow up with customer care—but I never received anything.
On June 25th, I reached out to support myself and was told the issue would be sent to customer care. I followed up again on June 27th, with no response. On July 1st, I followed up a third time. It wasn’t until July 2nd that I finally heard back from someone—Paige from customer care—who apologized for the inconvenience. She stated that “all our vehicles go through a comprehensive check between each hire” and that “the vehicle was signed off as rental ready.”
Unfortunately, I know this isn’t accurate. The trailer had its rear bumper held on with duct tape. The floor was filthy—covered in sand and dirt—and there was even a hole in the floor. If this is considered “rental ready,” that’s deeply concerning.
I’m writing this review because I believe customers deserve transparency. I expect Bunk Campers will respond with a generic message about their commitment to customer service or say the vehicle passed inspection—but that simply wasn’t our experience.
There are other campervan rental options out there. Based on what we experienced, I strongly recommend you consider them before booking with Bunk Campers.

We did a 7 day tour of Ireland. The camper was in excellent condition. We had great customer service from the company. Highly recommended for Ireland vacations.

We were subsequently charged for damage to the antenna by a branch, although when returning the vehicle was told that this would probably happen more often and would not be bad. 2 weeks later a payment request followed.
The question about the return process has not been answered to this day

Communication is extremely poor. They mostly ignore you. Our waterpump failed after 3 days and they had no solution. They offered 100 euro for the discomfort but just refused to communicate about it. The motorhome inventory was incompleet and parts broken, radio/navigation failed often. We realise things can break, but Bunk campers don't care about that. Be wise, if you want a careless holiday, avoid this company. It's sad that the company clearly cares more about money than customer satisfaction, especially since one is of great influence to the other. Also sad for their staff, who are clearly under huge time pressure.
P.s. unbelievable how quickly you guys can react now. In order to avoid negative reviews you should take care of your customers while they are travelling. I did not accept your 100 euros and will write to the Irish Car Rental Council. I hope you do not believe yourself, when you say you take this complaint seriously. You do not really believe we would use you again, do you?
To any potential renters in the future who still think they are a credible company; film everything before you leave and check every last screw of their motorhomes before you leave their premises.

The handover of the motor home was totally chaotic and although I had checked in on line as asked to do we had to complete things all over again. Having been asked to obtain DVLA authorisation for our driving licences they wouldn’t even look at them. People that arrived after us were dealt with before us and we had to wait ages before we were shown our unit. The person showing us it took a long time showing us the dents but seemed to have little knowledge of the inside of the unit.
We has specifically asked for single bedding x2 but were given 1 double set. This meant the next day we had to go and buy bedding that suited our requirements.
We subsequently met another Bunk camper unit that said they had also been given the wrong bedding.
The motor home itself was not clean inside and the mugs in the box were stained and unpleasant.
The fridge was terrible with broken shelves in the door and the other shelves were rusty and frankly a health hazard.
The Leisure battery was not working until several days in a camper with a similar motor home showed us a switch that turned the battery on.
The inside lights were a nightmare to get to work properly and the garage and bathroom light stayed on all the time.
It was stressed to us we had to take the unit back with the clean water full and the grey water empty but the control for the grey water wouldn’t work and the water dripped out all the time with the control saying 25% always.
The drawers were difficult to open which might explain why the limited amount of kitchen equipment was in a box and a bag.
We have hired motorhomes and canal boats for years and never had something this poor. We will not be hiring from Bunk Campers again or recommending you to anyone else.

Very reliable company! I’m 100% satisfied with their customer service/products!
We had the best time away in the motorhome. Will definitely come back for another experience.

Motorhome was in good condition. Handover had covered only the outside. Handing it back was even more interesting as we’re still missing the final protocol after weeks. Slight damage was reported and handled accordingly, so that was ok. We would go for it again.

Easy to do deal with and fixed a couple of minor problems we had.
Communication with the Dublin office needs to improve but someone called Andrew from the THL/ Bunk call centre in the UK was a good go between contact.
Would hire again with these guys.

Amazing overall experience! Camper was clean and worked perfectly, no issues whatsoever! Staff was super organized and friendly. Pick up and drop off was fast and easy! Highly recommend!

The Bunk Camper we hired had huge potential to create a fantastic experience but it failed to do so due to absence of one critical feature.
The Bathroom/Shower/Toilet had no vent, no fan and no opening window. On return of the van this issue was raised and as requested a written complaint was lodged.
No rectification followed nor is proposed by the company, Bunk Campers, part of thl - Tourism Holdings Limited.
