The hot water didn’t work and there was no recognition from them on my return even though they accepted it could not be fixed remotely during my hire. I will book elsewhere next time.

No good service. Faulty van and no solutions

Fantastic campers, seamless experience

Awful customer service. Continually trying to rip off. Beds were broken. Reported as I set off as we noted straight away. Reported again whne I dropped off. Both times they assured me dont worry. It's been reported. I was expecting a refund. Instead they didn't refund deposit and charged me extra. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly no one else seems to rent out the same cars close to London. So used them twice. First time it was the toilet that was broke. Again no compensation.

In response to the below. I did get in touch but my emails and calls were simply ignored. It’s also very typical of your service to simply not address the complaint. I said clearly that the damage was there when I got the car. You’ve just arrogantly brushed it off as if I’m unhappy with paying. I did not cause the damage.

After filing out grievance forms.
Would never use this company again. Even if they paid me to take one out

The camper van was amazing but the handover and return was inadequate and not a great experience, bordering on rude, disinterested and not much explanation about the van. The toilet chamber was not emptied correctly when we received it and the return was equally superficial. With regards to money, we have a question, as we paid £1278.50 for 7 nights and talked to someone when we were returning it to find he paid £400 for 5 night for the same van??

First of all they lied to us when they told us that we were authorised to drive 4 people, when we got to pick up the motorhome they told us that only two. They attended to both the withdrawal and the return in a very bad way. The treatment was terrible, when other people present there were treated in a better way. They told us that they would transfer us to the train station at no cost and when we arrived, they told us that they had no staff and we had to call two taxis. The motorhome had broken parts inside, there was a bed that could never be used, there were no places to load the gas. Anyway, I would never repeat the experience of renting with that company. If I should rate them, my score is 2, for the attention and services provided.

We picked up from the “London” location and we dropped off in Edinburgh. The process for pick up and drop off was so easy and relaxed, the places were busy but organised, the staff friendly, competent and helpful, The campervan was perfect, comfortable, clean, functional and easy to use (gas/elec/filling water/ ect) also did not guzzle fuel. Five stars, would recommend, will use again

The motorhome was the perfect for our 3 week holiday.

The van was just right for us. Easy to drive and well appointed. The bed was comfortable.

Our three plus weeks in our fabulous camper van provided us with
opportunities to explore and enjoy our journey through Ireland and the UK. Having a van that we could trust and that was easy to drive enabled us to negotiate the many minor roads that we traveled. The van never missed a beat.
The pickup and later, the drop off , were quick and easy processes. And an added bonus was when we first picked up the van, one of the Bunk Campers mechanics (Neil) came and asked us where we were planning to go. A short time later he returned with a road maps book which he gave to us, with several helpful suggestions, and which proved essential to our journey.

Location was a bit awkward to get to and no-one to pick us up from station as promised. If you are travelling with lots of luggage like us (we travelled from Australia for a 5 week trip), the train station has no lift and you will have to carry luggage up and down stairs. The pick-up of van was quite smooth and easy and got good instructions on how to manage the van. Be aware that some vans have no TV. This was a bit of a shock for us as we thought all did. Ours did not. The van was kitted out pretty well and we had everything we needed except for a bin and a floor mat. We bought both and also extra pillows as the 2 provided were very small and flat. The campervan performed well and we had no issues with it, either mechanically or comfort wise.

In the past, we have used Indie campers in many different countries. But they gave us trouble in England, so we are glad that we switched to Bunk campers. Everything was very smooth during pick up and drop off. The only issue we had was that the location was so far from London. However, it did work to take several trains and then an Uber to the farm location. Then on the way home we took an Uber right from the bunk camper office to Heathrow —that was about 89 pounds.

The camper van was a good size, and we always appreciate being able to stand up in it and to have a spot to pee at night andbefore getting out at each location. Maintenance of the van was easy. I would not recommend getting a camper van any bigger, as the narrow A and B roads in England are challenging enough. It is good that bunk campers does not keep security deposits due to the typical hedge scraping on the side of the windows — that is just inevitable in these narrow roads.

Driving tip in England: don’t always follow the Google maps version that often wants to take you on shortcuts down one lane track roads. Stick to the A and B roads. And of course, all the M highways are easy.

We love this new camper van that we had, as it had many storage spots and was easy to live in for 12 days.
