Very Enjoyable Experience
This was an enjoyable experience for me. My van was relatively small and very comfortable but was showing its age. The small (very small) team at Syon Yard was exceptional and my pickup/drop off were both perfectly painless experiences. Easier and quicker than picking up a normal hire car!

A perfect way to staycation in the UK!
This was our first time renting with Bunk Campers. We had a great experience and we would highly recommend Bunk Campers Heathrow office.
We rented a 2-berth Aero short wheel base from the London Heathrow office. We rented for 1 week in November. The van was a perfect size for our short trip, just short enough to make driving easier but big enough to be comfortable. I’m 6ft and I found the Aero definitely more comfortable than a pop-top VW which gets cold when you lift the roof (in November!). Also much easier to live in when you don’t have to constantly fold away the bed each morning.
The van was in good condition, new, clean on collection and worked absolutely fine for the whole trip. The only minor issue was that the heater failed in the middle of the last night. Fortunately this was just the last night so we didn’t even notice until the morning. Mark and the team at Heathrow are very friendly and helpful so I have no doubt they would have sorted us out if this happened earlier in the trip.
Touring in a campervan is such a great way to explore the UK. We normally camp in a tent in the summer and use a campervan in the colder winter months. Campsites are quiet and normally with good availability though definitely call ahead just in case.
Overall, I highly recommend Bunk Campers from the Heathrow office. You’ll be treated well and you’ll have a great time exploring this beautiful country!
