didn't ship gift until follow up, no response from customer service
I paid extra for a box to be shipped to arrive exactly on a specific day as a birthday gift - and I ordered two weeks ahead. On the afternoon of the birthday (a Thursday), I checked the shipping status - which the website indicated the gift was not shipped despite the specified date. I reached out to customer support immediately by replying to the order confirmation email (as per the direction of that same email). Effectively the next day (day after the date my specified send date), after my 1st email - the gift finally marked as being shipped. It arrived the following Tuesday - 6 days late from my specified send date. I reached to customer support for an explanation on what happened - and after two follow ups later, I finally got a response that effectively was "sorry for the inconvenience" and no further response. I paid extra to this company to have a gift being shipped on time, and had I not reached out, I don't think the gift would have ever been shipped.
I would have been less angry if they simply own up to their mistake, and find some way to compensate - but nada. I will never order from this company again, and I will urge everyone to do the same.
