Started on Butchers approx 6 months ago which I've got to say my dog loves. Bought a box of 24 from Asda before Xmas which only had 23 tins in the box, after being unable to find who we could contact... See more

They have been amazing, when I had vouchers that didn't work that I had been given by a Butchers stall.
I contacted them and they sent out new ones straight away and we always feed our 14-year-old dog on butchers and he is thriving
They are great

I have a 2 year old working gun dog Labrador who is extremely picky with food, she will not eat dry food and will not eat most branded tins either, however when I purchased the Butchers tripe tins I was pleasantly surprised of how much dog food was inside the time (packed to the rim) my dog loved it and will only eat this now.

My dog eats the grain free tinned food . he loves it and his tummy tolerates this well.however I recently introduced the grain free tripe loaf recipe and he's had terrible diarrhea. I'm thinking it's the tripe. Just not to let others know incase there dogs have sensitive stomachs.

Thought we had finally found the perfect food for our elderly dog with a sensitive stomach, however upon opening a can of wet dog food was overcome with a foul smell. Upon closer inspection we found that there was a maggot embedded in the meat. Photographs were provided and an “investigation” carried out upon the conclusion of which we were informed that the foreign body must have been a piece of fat. My husband and I are perfectly capable of distinguishing between the two and after advising Butchers of the same have heard nothing since. An offer of £5 and then a second offer of £20 is not my idea of a response to the problem.
Poor quality customer service for a poor quality product.
Whilst I appreciate the response received, I would like to point out that my complaint was not to seek some form of financial compensation but to highlight the flaws in the manufacturing of this product.
Dog food should be treated to no lesser standard in terms of the quality we should expect to receive.
If the offending item had been found in food meant for human consumption I have no doubt that this would have received a more considered and appropriate response.

I have bred and shown my dogs for almost 50 years I cannot tell you how many years I have used Butchers for my dogs
Not so long ago I ordered my food when I opened a 6 ok there was no meat just jelly I rang you to tell you and a lady said she would replace it or a voucher I heard nothing back from you it’s disgusting what you have done I trust you with my dog feeding them but that’s all it is I could not even take it back as they all were opened
Your company took all numbers and letters from the can but still nothing
I think I have been treated very badly I look forward to to hearing back from you

My dog is 14 years old and has eaten Butchers tripe mix for most of life. However I have noticed the contents of all flavours have become more dry rather than the wet consistency that it usually is. My dog is now sick most times she eats drier version. She is an old dog and it angers me that she is going through this discomfort at her age. If this is the "new improved consistency". It isn't working for her.

Lots of variety, textures & flavours to suit my fussy GSD. We get the grain free as previous dog had tummy issues before we changed to Butchers so just stuck with it and my bit wolfs it down so must be good.

My dog has really enjoyed this food. She normally has tray food but these cams go further and are more economical. The food is always eaten by my dog and there is no waste

Shelbys favourite food, she can hear it been opened from the next room and clears her bowl every time, she loves it and is so happy on it

It tastes really nice and my dog loves it. Also we find the trays very quick and efficient to serve out and packs store easily although some tray tabs tear off and you need a canopener to open them this needs sorting out

My dogs absolutely love this food all varieties, it fills them up and the meat quantity is really good not like other dog food brands I have purchased in the past. Well done butchers!!

Florrie loves Butchers, it's one of her favourite foods. It always looks & smells fresh, and she wolfs it down so it obviously tastes great too.

Our dogs love your products every day they sit at the pantry door waiting for the tins to come out, the ingredients go together extremely well.

My elderly dogs love the fish Butchers have put in their Healthy Heart and Joints and Coat ranges of tins. Hopefully it is doing them good. Though they do still love the tripe too.

My dog decided he didn’t want to eat raw food any longer. We have been trying different types of food and he has settled on Butchers as the one he wants. So far he seems well and happy on it. I am giving him primarily the healthy heart one and he usually clears his dish, which is good to see as he is a fussy eater.
