I was looking for a low cost, 2nd kilt for less formal occasions (rugby, football, etc). I was surprised how good the kilt looked and the quality of the finish. This is a very good quality but low cost kilt!

I want to commend you for your prompt and accommodating service. I was very please with the quality of the Prince Charlie full dress, particularly the jacket and vest which are of made from beautiful material and are well constructed. My Nova Scotia family has a very discerning eye in Scottish wear; the outfit will be proudly worn at the 150th Highland Games in Antigonish and at a traditional ceilidh wedding this summer.

Having spent a couple of hours on a fruitless search on Edinburgh's High Street, through the tourist 'tat' shops and the quality kilt makers to no avail, I reverted to the internet. Again it was difficult to get accurate information. The quest was for a Navy blue ghillie shirt for my grandson. Stumbling upon buyakilt.com it had the product but the sizing showed only chest measurements. His current shirt is too short in the sleeve! Luckily buyakilt.com has a means of direct messaging and Rachel, customer service manager, was able in just a couple of minutes to go off and find the information I needed. ordered online and it was delivered within 48 hours. Perfect!
By the way: their price was approx. 20% cheaper for the same product sold on a certain shopping portal which doesn't pay much tax!

I ordered 2 products, the Celtic Embossed Leather Sporran (model L22) and a Large Knot Cast Buckle ( CLA-E014-P).

The sporran looks and feels much more expensive. It sits flat on the kilt but opens wide enough for phone, keys and the fattest of wallets. One thing though, the belt supplied is too large for me and I'd say a lot of people. When fitted to the sporran the holes are placed for a waist size 44 to 48 inches. Even making my own hole the smallest I can get it is 38 inches. Not a problem for me as I already have a sporran and belt.

The belt buckle is exactly how it should be. Antique'd pewter finish, heavy (125g/4 1/2oz) and very good to look at. A real hand worked look. I have denims with belt loops wide enough for my kilt belt and when not worn with the kilt I wear it with these. Very happy. Plus it comes in a really nice plain presentation box. Good for a gift.

I was amazed by the quality of my kilt, the size is perfect and adjustable. The price is very competitive, I don't regret a penny!

There's no doubt that pationate people work hard for that!
