Disgraceful.., ordered a crate of wood. Waited six weeks for delivery. No sign of them. Eventually got through to someone who told me it wasn’t available. Ordered a bag of wood and waited weeks for this . After many calls I was told the original crate was available, so cancelled the bag. A bag of wood arrived that was a mix of all sorts that some of it wouldn’t fit in my fire… asked for a refund for the bag…11 weeks later after at least two calls a week I had to travel to Carlow and ask for the refund, which I got. The phone system is a disaster and even the operators can’t get through to their own finance department… after more than five years of getting wood here, I’m out… never again Rathwood…

We have been using this company for a few years now. The ordering process is really easy. The website is very user friendly and the co.pany that delivered are really good to deal with. We have found that nothing was to much trouble for them and drop the crate of wood right up to our door. Cant fault anything, the quality of the wood is good and we will be repeat costumers for years to come

I always buy my firewood in bulk from buyfirewooddirect.ie They deliver when they say they will, and the firewood is top class. You get what you pay for, and it is really worth it to get great logs from here. They burn for ages and give out a great heat. Highly reccomend!

You did not deliver my crate of firewood on time. Huge delay. I had to purchase wood elsewhere to keep me going over Christmas. Very disappointing.

Highly recommend this company, was let down last Christmas week by a well known company, and rang buyfirewood direct, with a few days to Christmas, and they deliver me an order. Staff all lovely to deal with from sales to delivery. They should be all feeling proud of their efforts for the business.
