Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 55 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Customers frequently report significant delays in receiving payments, often waiting weeks or even months beyond the promised timeframe. Many people also experienced poor customer service, characterized by unhelpful responses and a lack of communication regarding their transactions. However, some customers also noted a recurring pattern where initial high price offers for their devices were drastically reduced after inspection, despite many asserting their phones were in excellent condition. People often had to reject these lowball offers, leading to incremental increases, though a few reported their devices were returned with new damage.

Massively under offered

Quoted £120 sale price for my old phone (iPhone 11) but when they tested the phone they updated the price to £40. They said a replacement battery is needed (fair enough) but they also said that the screen has visible marks and the device had “deep scratches” in more than 1 place which is BS because I kept the phone in near perfect condition and sent it very securely packaged. Can’t be bothered to get the phone returned now so I accepted the offer but if you sell something with them prepare to be under offered massively

Joke of a company

I was offered £256 for my iPhone 13. When they received it this offer then changed to £109 due to tiny scratches on the screen and the battery having been charged more than 500 times (had the phone over 3 years so nothing unusual about how often it was charged. Battery health was still 90%)
Rejected the offer to then be offered £129 which I declined again. Then was offered £175.50 which I accepted. Advised of 3-7 working days for BACS transfer. Still waiting even though we’re now on the 7th working day. Absolute joke of a company. Never known it to take 7 full working days (or more, it seems) to do a BACS transfer.

I sent my mobile to Buyur via my insurance - I only needed the cracked screen replaced and was quoted 3 days. Nearly 2 weeks later I still haven't had my phone back.

Ok so they firstly offer you a great…

Ok so they firstly offer you a great price for your phone.

I sent in an iPhone in great condition, slight mark round one of camera bump and that’s it, battery health was 85%. Once they received the phone they offered £88, not anywhere near the £212 they originally quoted. I declined the offer and asked for phone to be sent back, I then received another offer in my junk email of £108.50, I declined this offer and asked for it to be returned, 12hrs later I receive another offer of £140 in my junk email, I declined again and it was finally returned to me without the correct box and charger it was sent with.

Be careful, in the small print if you do not decline the offer in time the offer amount will be accepted regardless if you’re happy or not.

What a complete waste of my time and now I’m missing the original box and charger. Fair to say I will never use this company again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS, FAKE PARTS SOLD AS GENUINE REFURBISHED

This company uses non-genuine parts of very poor quality and sell on as refurbished with genuine parts, they lowball offers on devices and overcharge for certain conditions and then send a lower grade device than what you actually paid for. No care with packing and never actually check if device is damaged before posting. Avoid at all costs

Avoid this company …

Was given a price to sell by Samsung S21, sent it off , pristine, still had the cellophane protection on the back. Reduced my price for visible marks on the case, asked for photographic evidence… received nothing, after 2 weeks if chasing decided to accept, received an email 04 Feb to say payment would be in my bank within 3-5 days…now chasing payment 1 week later . No one answers phone or responds to email. I am now looking at reporting to Trading Standards. Absolutely shocking service. They have most probably sold my phone on.
*Edit. Monies now received an hour after my review was published.

A strange error.

I ordered a Galaxy S22 and was delivered a pack of Aldi Biodegradable Wipes. This is a strange mistake for a company that deals in tech.
I'm sure they'll refund me - watch this space!

Samsung s22 nightmare

Samsung s22 nightmare. Sent out a faulty phone that was supposed to be fully refurbished and excellent but wouldn't turn on.
Customer Services have been a nightmare stalling on the refund after I wouldn't accept an exchange.
I would stay away from this company. Be warned. I am still waiting on a refund and they are using delay tactics.

Excellent service from start to finish

Excellent company to deal with. They paid the full amount quoted for my phone and kept me updated by text and email. Louis (or Louie) was very helpful when I called customer service. The bank holiday slowed things up a bit but all in all top marks + best price!
