The Miami data center spent 3 hours without internet connection and then with a 2 Mbps connection for 9 more hours.

My VPS went completely non responsive and I could not restart it even from the "Stallion" control panel. I entered a support ticket and the staff restarted my VPS in a few hours. The resolution by staff was quick and easy. One star off, however, because the VPS went down in the first place and I have never had that happen with a hosting service before.

I have been using Frantech (BuyBM and BuyShared - now Namecrane) services for 5 years (going 6!), it is simply the best, affordable yet trustworthy and stable. Support is great too (although very seldom that I need it). Simply the best.

Went above and beyond. I have an inexpensive unmanaged server and just wanted some guidance as to resolving an issue, but they were protective in going in and resolving my issue, which they absolutely didnt need to do. I just wanted some documentation on how to do it, but they did it for me. Fantastic support!

And even moreso, I've now been with them for over half a year and I've not had a single problem (that wasn't my own doing). A few users of my service have outright told me it's "much better now" than it used to be with the other providers I've tried.

I've dealt with multiple hosts where the peak hour congestion was awful. I won't name names, but a server that can burst to 10gbps is nice on paper, but not nice when it barely manages 10mbps during "prime time" hours and causes service interruptions. Ive never had this issue with BuyVM, the lowest speed I've ever seen was 500mbps, and a few minutes later it was right back over 2gbps. They manage their network very well. Their policies around "fair share" might be a bit controversial, but I prefer the flexibility of common sense over an unaccountable algorithm with hard limits. The results speak for themselves.

I'll be entirely honest, the only reason I needed a VPS in the first place was because my server here had to be on a cellular connection while I waited on a fiber install and the contract with my old colocation arrangement was up. The fiber is installed, but for $7 a month from BuyVM, i get a proper server and can set up failovers and such via tailscale tunnels, so if the fiber goes down for whatever reason, it'll fall back to cellular relatively seamlessly for the client. My fiber provider wants $25 a month for a static IP (which is ridiculous), but more flexibility for less cost to keep the VPS is a no-brainer. They take care of their customers, their network performance/consistency is great, they're friendly and helpful, and the prices are fantastic. Highly recommended.

The whole service has been a really good experience overall. If you run into problems their support always takes their time to help you and is generally super nice. Can't say anything bad about them. Been a customer for 3 years now and it's been amazing ever since.

I had past services here and was happy with the service. I recently had need of another VPS and tried subscribing to a new slab. The charge initially went through just for them to mysteriously cancel with some overly vague security note. I doublechecked all info provided and everything was correct.

I strongly advise against using the services of Frantech Solutions, BuyVM.net, and Abelohost BV. These companies knowingly host websites that not only violate copyright laws but also commit serious infringements on personal rights, defamation, and the illegal processing of personal data and images.

In my case, I reported a website that publishes content violating my rights. After numerous attempts to contact them, I discovered that one of the aforementioned companies is their hosting provider. Unfortunately, despite multiple reports, the company completely ignores requests for intervention and takes no action. This is a blatant case of negligence and disregard for applicable legal protections.

I am currently taking legal action against this company, as its activities could lead to serious legal consequences. I also know that many companies and individuals are already filing lawsuits against Frantech Solutions / BuyVM.net / Abelohost BV.

If you care about legal and reliable hosting, away from companies that ignore copyright laws and data protection – I strongly discourage choosing this company!

This is my second hard down outage on a server or storage that is critical to my business. The first time, there was no announcement made and response time was egregiously slow and this time although the resolution was fast, the response I got was “Sorry about that”. I asked what happened and got no response.

The price and the service itself has been most good but the communication on tickets has been subpar.

They were able to restore my services based on an old snapshot after I missed my payment.
Excellent customer service as usual and I'm glad I can still rent with buyvm.

The salesperson was very patient and reasonable, very efficient and resolved the issue very quickly!

I submitted a ticket at 10:20 and my problem was solved 10 minutes later. Kudos!

I small vps from frantech 5 years at row, great experience to be honest. Not without outages, e.g. as I remember discord discussion a remote worker left an usb-stick with firmware upgrade in switch and it causes network loss after reboot :)

Never seen customer support this fast and responsive. I got responses from them within *minutes* and they directly and honestly answered all my questions. Very impressed.

Absolutely instant response from Akash on an important ticket to make sure a server was secure. I've always loved BuyVM since the OpenVZ days but I never could have imagined how good their service and support always were because actually, I've never even needed it until now to check on particular things I want to be sure are done 100% properly, and that's exactly what I'm getting. And, for so cheap, it's scary...

The merchant is very easy to work with and will help you configure the server. They reply promptly, their servers are very fast, and I am very satisfied. The only drawback is that many products are only available during business hours.
