Fast response to a mission critical issue. The tech team does their job well.
The biggest reason I gave three stars…
The biggest reason I gave three stars is because I wasn't told that port 25 was automatically turned off on my VM before or after I purchased it and I spent a couple hours trying to figure out what is wrong with my server before I asked support if by chance the port 25 was blocked. I think it's a little extreme the measures I had to go through to get something that should have been included with the purchase. Then if I do something wrong block the port 25 and make me beg.
Warning: Frantech Solutions / BuyVM.net / Abelohost BV Are Hosting Copyright-Infringing and Potentially Illegal Content
If you are considering using Frantech Solutions, BuyVM.net, or Abelohost BV, I strongly advise you to think twice before trusting this hosting provider.
This company has been knowingly hosting multiple domains that distribute pirated content, including copyrighted material that has been stolen and illegally monetized. Despite repeated DMCA takedown requests, they have ignored legitimate complaints and continue to provide hosting services to websites that violate intellectual property laws.
Unresolved Copyright Violations and Willful Negligence
Our company has submitted official DMCA takedown notices following all legal requirements to the designated abuse email addresses:
📧 abuse a frantech.ca
📧 abuses a abelohost.net
However, despite multiple attempts over the past several months, they have completely ignored these legal requests, allowing piracy sites to continue distributing stolen content unchecked. This raises serious concerns about their internal compliance and the effectiveness of their abuse department.
Potential Legal and Financial Risks
As a result of their refusal to act on legitimate copyright infringement claims, we are preparing a legal case to be filed in either Los Angeles, California, where this company operates, or Las Vegas, Nevada, where our company is based.
Each unauthorized video distributed through their services could result in statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringement, as permitted by U.S. copyright law. So far, 744 infringing URLs have been identified, with more being uncovered regularly. This means the total potential liability could reach millions of dollars in damages.
These cases will be modeled after landmark copyright infringement lawsuits such as:
Sony Music vs. Cox Communications
BMG vs. Cox Communications
Both cases resulted in massive financial penalties for the companies involved due to their failure to prevent copyright violations on their networks.
Further Serious Legal Concerns
Aside from intellectual property theft, this hosting provider is also associated with websites that distribute adult content without proper age verification. Some of these sites may even be hosting illegal content, including potential child exploitation material, which could expose the company and its owner, Francisco Dias, to serious criminal investigations.
Law enforcement authorities are already increasing scrutiny on hosting providers that knowingly support piracy and other unlawful activities. If this company continues to ignore copyright violations, it may soon face regulatory action or legal prosecution.
Final Warning for Potential Customers
If you are considering using Frantech Solutions, BuyVM.net, or Abelohost BV, be aware that this company has a history of:
Knowingly hosting stolen copyrighted content
Ignoring DMCA takedown requests for months
Hosting multiple piracy sites, some of which may contain illegal material
Failing to properly manage its abuse department
Exposing itself (and potentially its customers) to lawsuits and criminal liability
For businesses and individuals who care about ethical and legal hosting, I strongly recommend choosing a provider that takes copyright enforcement seriously and does not turn a blind eye to piracy and potential criminal activity.
This review is based on firsthand experience with their refusal to act on legal DMCA requests, and I hope it serves as a warning to others.
Great support team support
I understand that hardware failures happen, and the support team helped me with data recovery, after hours of working on the database fix and checking damaged files to fix some codes, everything was successfully recovered, thanks to the support team.
Owner thinks he has a god complex and…
Owner thinks he has a god complex and literally argues with all his customers while showing zero respect for the money that's given to them. Used them for a few years and their service is just riddled with downtime. There are many better services you can try, don't bother with fran use something that's actually stable. He's been at it that many years and still can't stop your server from going down at least once a day, he either doesn't know what has doing or the equipment is that cheap its just unusable.
Hosting Illegal Content, No Accountability
Frantech Solutions is hosting the data for the website beta.directleaks.net. This site steals and illegally distributes the hard work of thousands of developers and engineers, especially related to Rust. I reported this issue to them via email 24 hours ago but have yet to receive any response. I find it disappointing that they appear indifferent to ethical issues, and I urge them to take responsibility for the content they are hosting.
I am updating my review again now after 22+ days. The hosting providers still have not responded to the email I sent, which clearly shows that they are deliberately protecting and hosting the data of the illegal site beta.directleaks.net that violates copyright.
Additionally, the operators of beta.directleaks.net have issued an IP ban against me, which further demonstrates their malicious intentions. Frantech Solutions' complete lack of response makes it evident that they are complicit in supporting this illegal activity. Their silence speaks volumes, suggesting they are working in collaboration with this unethical site.

The work order was processed very quickly. Thank you
You truly have a very organized
You truly have a very organized, honest, and efficient team, and you’re amazing!
one of the best hosting providers ever
the team over at Frantech is one of the most friendliest, No BS i have ever seen. i have used their BuyVM for my servers in the past and still to this day is top notch. when i brought a mail server on their namecrane shop, it got flagged in an error (my personal email was flagged for disposable email (tuta.io)) but they got it fixed in under 5 minutes and the support is god tier. i would recommend them. It's the most simplest and down to earth service ever.
Be aware of this host since they…
Be aware of this host since they apparently allow illegal activity on their services.
I tried to report a illegal website hosting over 1,000 child pornography / CSAM material on it and when i spoke with the frantech.ca support all they did is to tell me to contact website owner and i told them website owner didn't care so then frantech did same bullshit too, they claim they obey the law which they actually do not! I have reported abuse like this before to other hosts out there and they would quickly suspend the service instantly without an excuse, but frantech does not give a crap about the law and won't take action against illegal activity.
So i have reported frantech to law enforcement together with website containing Child Pornography/CSAM being hosted on their service and i informed law enforcement that Frantech does not follow law and hopefully law enforcement might lift their eye brows and spot something odd about frantech and then decide to start an investigation towards them and who knows they might find alot of more illegal websites being ran by them and that will make law enforcement get a court premit to head over to frantech datacenter to seize servers and make some of them or most of them liable for failing to obey the law so they can punish them for it.
This is un-acceptable use of service and violation of law that Frantech.ca is committing!
I also hope law enforcement and court will shutdown frantech.ca for failure of obeying the law as well, to stop this abuse and law violation.
So stay away from this service.
BuyVM is such a great price for VPS and…
BuyVM is such a great price for VPS and there isn't another provider that even comes close. Equally as remarkable, the customer service they provide is top notch. Any time I have needed assistance or had questions they have always provided quick and friendly responses. I can't stress enough how much I appreciate being able to deal with a real person instead of a bot whenever the need arises.
Cheap Anycast
They provide very cheap Anycast servers, which is something other cloud computing companies cannot do.
Poor customer support
Great Service, Great Support, Always There for you.
Fast and Stellar support, as always, they help you with all kind of "stuff", even if you are new to hosting / vps.
The response time is fast (granted you are in the working hours), esle you are announced, always, what that working hours are, they always reply, no matter what. Which, in this day, is STELLAR!..
As i work in IT, my motto is, if i dont do sh*t, and dont work, i make money, all my job is done, and it is working flawlessly..
Again, great Feedback.
Amazing support response time
Amazing support response time. Even though it was for a server that cost a few bucks a month, issue was responded to and fixed within minutes of posting late at night on a Monday.
Easy and secure
Quick response. Proper security protocols for the change without excessive difficulty in verifying my identity.
Excellent Support & Value
I've been hosting my personal website and some friends' websites with BuyShared/BuyVM, which is now known as NameCrane, since 2014. I use the hosting mainly as a staging site and to host my personal website. Their hosting is affordable and their support is good. Overall, my experience with their hosting service has been excellent, especially their quick response times to support requests. I highly recommend NameCrane to anyone looking for affordable and reliable hosting.
Awesome support
These dudes work day and night, even the weekends, to assist you with your issues and even your questions. The most responsive and result oriented support of my 5 VPS providers.
