Whilst I've not personally used Greg's services, I have worked alongside him many times on podcast panels and we've co-produced several LinkedIn Live sessions on the topics of job search, CV preparation, interviewing, and generally how to get ahead as a candidate - whilst also considering the client perspective.

Both in those sessions, 1-1, and in his online content Greg always shows up as a recruiter who absolutely knows his stuff, has an unusual diligence over his work, and is committed to placing the right person in the right job.

As a former recruiter myself, and having dealt with hundreds over the years, I know a good one when I see and hear them.

Also, whilst he is the utmost professional, he brings a lot of humour to his work, and regularly sends up spammers, misleading content, and misinformation on LinkedIn. Who wants to come to work and have a dull time, after all? Whilst he's funny, I get the impression he's fully house trained too, which is a bonus.

The recruitment and online worlds are both better for him being in them. This man has real calibre in recruitment, so you should use him.

Greg is generous and insightful and provided great advice. He regularly shares useful insights online to make job searching easier and to keep people motivated. I first met Greg at one of the toughest times of my life. Finding myself out of work at 51 for the first time in my career was an unsettling place to be. That it coincided with the #Coronavirus outbreak really was poor timing and led to a an unusual period of self-doubt. As I'm sure we have all saw, in grim times of Covid19, there were demonstrations of many selfless gestures that reaffirm my positive view of human nature.

One such gesture came from Greg - not someone I knew, just someone on LinkedIn who said that he was happy to use this period to help anyone who had queries regarding recruitment. I reached out to Greg and he very quickly set up a call.

Firstly, it was reassuring to talk to a recruitment professional who was (very accurately as it transpired) positive about the long term, despite the immediate circumstances.

Practically, Greg gave me (who hadn't applied for a job since I was 21) an update on the recruitment market and its procedures, which were invaluable. By the end of the call, Greg has offered me some great suggestions about my CV, my LinkedIn connections and some tips on applications which tend to be dominated by ATS these days. He also suggested that I research ATS methodologies further, which again has proved excellent advice.

More advice about understanding the company posting any role and how to approach the applications, alongside protocols for speculative enquiries also proved really helpful.

Greg dropped me another note 2-3 weeks following our initial call, which again was extremely supportive and indicative of what I see as a real win-win approach to client/customer relationships.

Greg’s advice about using LinkedIn was spot on as was his assessment of how the job market would recover, and I managed to get a role and then relaunch my career from there. I’ve recently moved jobs again at the grand old age of 54!

I would happily state that anyone looking to recruit or be recruited have a chat with him, as I'm convinced he would add value as he did for me.

Whatever "it" is..... Greg has got it. And in abundance!

As a fellow Recruitment Consultant I'm genuinely in awe of Greg.

The intimate level of detail, knowledge and exact specification is frighteningly outstanding.

For example, most people wouldn't even think about pre-boarding which is the period of time from contractual acceptance to somebody starting on day 1 in their new role but Greg acknowledges this high risk period and I have no doubt he will be educating, informing and supporting hiring managers to navigate this period.

I follow Greg via multiple channels and everything he says just makes complete sense. His words and actions are fully congruent which is a true reflection on his character.

And whilst he has 20+ years of recruitment experience from the outside-in, I would say two things: 1) he's the type of guy where continuous improvement is in his DNA so you are actually benefiting from the compound effect of 20 years which is probably more like 50 years. 2) From memory Greg started in recruitment and learning from his Dad. So again the 20+ years is built upon his father's experience so the base level was incredibly high to begin.

And for all of these reasons I will continue to aspire to be more like Greg!

Greg is very generous with his advice and time. He offers useful and insightful tips and ideas to candidates. Having also been involved in recruiting staff as an employer, this approach is refreshing and good for both parties.

Greg was immediately available to support me for an important job interview I had coming up. He made himself available out of hours and provided some really good, practical advice which gave me a confidence boost and ensured I was well prepared for the interview. He was totally professional and was without doubt a big factor in my interview performance and success in obtaining the role.
