I was pressed for time, and had to ring up to get my e-ticket confirmed and emailed so I could print it out, and it was nearly instantaneous, great service.

I have been waiting for a refund on a flight that was moved by BYO Jet for the last 8 months. I was told 12 weeks and I did that due diligence without bothering them, but after that upon repeated emails, I have not heard back. I have also called only to be on hold for 1 hour and 12 minutes with no one answering a call. BYOJet has about 1.5k of my money and they have failed to get back to me. Please do not book with them.
No option online for changing the date said have to call. When called them took 1 hour on call just to get the call answered.

Didn't see any notable savings, compared to other sites. Just click bait.

I had requested for a ticket cancellation and the flight had complimentary refund mentioned on the airline website, but BYO jet charged me airline refund cancellation and their own processing fees of $250, so total amount deducted was more than $500. Inspite of paying these extra charges refund is still not processed and it’s been more than a month now. Every time I call them they keep on saying that they will request for a follow up with their finance department but no response received yet.

Awful experience. I booked a round trip flight and I ended up being emailed an itinerary with a one way flight. Tried to fix the problem and the agent hung up on me.

We found the booking process very easy with prompt communications and a website which was easy to navigate.
Also, importantly for us, you had best price on the market by some margin.

Booking site easy to navigate. Discount code provided to encourage booking completion, competitive price and much cheaper than booking direct with airline. I have used BYOjet in past, without issue. No credit card fee added at end which was a nice surprise. Prompt email confirmation and eticket.

It takes up to 7 days to get E-Tickets while the company took fund out of my credit card at the day of the reservation. No instant E-ticket. Do not purchase from this site.

I booked an flight through BYOjet and contacted them within hours of booking to fix a date error. Airline confirmed there were no airline change or cancellation fees as this was within 24 hours.
Despite this, BYOjet refused a refund or credit and tried to charge a $537 “airline fee” plus a $250 processing fee. I understand the processing fee, but the airline fee makes no sense given what the airline confirmed.
Their call centre has used clear avoidance and delay tactics, I’ve been passed around, told the same thing on every call, told to call back later multiple times, hung up on and even told a supervisor needed to “reboot” their system. It feels like they’re deliberately running out the clock to push this outside Air NZ’s 24-hour window.
This is not the level of service I’d expect from a Flight Centre–owned company.
Warning to others: book direct with the airline instead.
