Disgusting shoes. Cheap and nasty. What a let down. Buyers beware!!

Very misleading advertising...
- Advertise in Australian dollars and then you get hit with International Transaction Fees.
- Advertise Free shipping within Australia and yet it took 22 days.
- 2 pairs of Sandals ordered, and 2 different sizes delivered.
- Much smaller than standard Australian sizes.
- Obviously not Orthopedic and the quality is substandard.
- No refunds on Sale Items yet everything is always on Sale!
- They offer to send you replacements, but you have to pay shipping and handling charges!
Total SCAM and sadly I fell for it!!

I ordered a toy over a month ago and received a shipping notice. The shipping number was 'Pending', meaning that the item has not actually shipped. Over a month later and the shipping number is still 'Pending'. Trying to follow this up with them has resulted in multiple automated email responses which do not address my concerns and when this is pointed out, multiple 'I will investigate and get back to you' responses that are not followed up on. I have demanded a refund as they have not fulfilled their obligations but was told that they cannot refund an item that has shipped, even though it clearly has not been shipped. I will be taking this further and want people to know that this company is nothing but a scam who will take your money, not ship anything and then refuse to refund you! I can provide proof of all of this.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ANY BRANCH OF BYSOFIAS.

I purchased goods from this company which so far haven't arrived. The tracking order number provided is non existent so I tried to cancel the order but was advised that cancellations and refunds aren't possible. Also this company is not Australian. The goods are shipped from Hong Kong. I suspect I will not receive my shoes and if I do, I don't expect them to be of good quality. I also suspect any responses to emails from customers are created through AI. I should have conducted more research before purchasing. Lesson learned.

They misrepresented sizing on website. I can pay for 1 pair to be shipped from China to Australia. Stuck with 3 pairs too big. Not remotely orthopaedic, not that I thought they would be. Should've gone to a local.

This is a scam company not Australian and not orthopaedic shoes. They also have By Luna Australia. I have put in a dispute with PayPal and reported both businesses to ACCC in Australia

BUYER BEWARE. Do not trust this company. They are not Australian owned & they do not ship from Australia. This is fraudulent, false & misleading information. They are all the same company, "By Sofia's Australia", "By Luna Australia", "Elizabeth Boots" & "Elizabeth Australia". ALL advertising on Facebook. Your payments go to Hong Kong Dropshipping Fulfillment Co. Limited. Their shoes are of inferior quality. They advertise no refunds on Sale items but all their shoes are on Sale ALL the time???? Check their reviews online & also "By Sofias Australia", "Elizabeth Boots" & "By Luna Australia" on Trustpilot & Product Review websites. Many customers receiving sub standard orders & are still waiting & fighting for refunds 6 months later or their Customer Service team have stopped answering them hoping they'll go away. There are also many other websites purporting these companies to be a scam or one you should be wary of. Most of their positive reviews are self generated as is evident in the format of comments on FB. They delete all their negative reviews where they can. They can't delete this one. I hope I can at least warn some unsuspecting Australian Consumers. Shame on you By Sofias Australia, By Luna Australia, Elizabeth Boots & Elizabeth Australia. Stop taking advantage of Australian Consumers.

I should have read these reviews prior to ordering - and I wouldn't have ordered. There should be an option for zero stars as they don't even deserve one star! I will refer this to American Express and request a refund. I ordered two pairs of shoes size 38 and one pair was bigger than than the other; the strap on one pair was so long that the inside of the strap (different colour) was visible; both pairs were not true to size (too big); and the workmanship is shoddy! Don't buy from this company. IT'S A SCAM!

I ordered and returned boots that I couldn't do up. I returned them 31/8 and tracked to return. Still no credit and they don't answer my emails. Would never buy anything advertised on Facebook again. Bad firm to deal with.

I received my order of red ankle boots, from By Sophia’s Australia, this morning through Australia Post.
I’m very disappointed in the cheap material they are made from and wasn’t even able to try them on as the zipper on the right boot is broken. I am returning them and I want a refund please.

I bought a pair of ‘orthoboots’. The style and colour in the ad was very attractive, but what arrived was a pale shadow of the one advertised. Or rather, a dark shadow, as the green colour in the ad (think inner flesh of avocado) had morphed into a dark dark green, almost black (think Haas skin). The less said about the quality of the materials the better.
Not at all happy.
They refused to accept them back, citing ‘sale item’, so I immediately lodged a dispute with PayPal (I almost always buy online through them). I included the correspondence, and pictures of the original ad + what actually arrived, claiming misleading advertising amd that the supplied product was not what was advertised. The seller needs to understand that their first responsibility is to supply what was promised!
A refund was issued quite quickly by the seller. (This is why I use PayPal)
I would never ever deal with this company again.

Quality of the ankle boots purchased nothing like the photo,not soft leather, stiff cheap vinyl smelly. Sizing not correct I wear size 8* ordered 8.5 too tight. Stitching on arrival already loose and falling out. They are heading to the bin, very false and misleading advertising of product. Complete waste of money wouldn't recommend.

THEY sent the wrong size.
They will not accept responsibility for making a mistake - if I want the correct size I need to pay for postage!
Numerous emails and got no where. They keep telling me no exchange or refund as per their sales policy!

Please people do not purchase anything from this company. I am lodging a complaint to Fair Trading. They draw you in with pimped up marketing on the website and when the products arrive they are not what you ordered (wrong colour) and poor quality. They are made of synthetic material, no arch support and substandard soles. The company responded quickly on email but refused to refund my money stating it is against policy to refund sale goods. Doesn't matter that I received a pair of shoes that I did not order. All these products are sold on sale. Do not waste your money - the shoes I bought are going in the bin!

Firstly... if you have an issue with your shoe order, receiving defective shoes and are not getting a satisfactory response from this company within 1 week, contact your bank (if purchased by credit card) and lodge a motion with them to have your payment reversed... many banks will reverse the payment once they have done an investigation and seen your evidence (pictures and email responses etc) of scammer sellers etc. Also consider reporting the company to FB... their website is through Spotify, which is powered through FB. Also consider lodging a complaints with Department of Fair Trade.

I took advantage of this company's February sale and purchased 3 pairs of shoes which then also afforded me free shipping. They claimed that I would get email notification of my order, but... nothing! Thank goodness I always take a picture of my orders so I could contact this company when my order didn't arrive in reasonable time. They claim they are Australian, but the shoes are cheap Chinese imports. The quality of the shoes definitely does not match their great pictures that they use to sell you this rubbish. My order finally arrived shortly after my initial email to them. What a disaster. Firstly they are made of plastic and very cheap vinyl. I had ordered the same style and size of a sandal in 2 different colours (see pictures). The brown sandals fit even though the vinyl chaffed my feet. The blue pair was a complete disaster, not at all the same size as the brown, with the front strap and Velcro so big that there was no way of shortening it, and my toes hung 4cm out of the front of the show (see picture). The pink sneakers had a similar issue with their closing strap in that it was far too long, so no way of helping to hold the shoes onto my feet... in short, 2 pairs totally unwearable. I sent an email to the company within 20min of opening my parcel. Their response was that as the shoes were purchased on a sale, there was no return or refund. At that stage all I wanted was for them to take back their defective shoes and send me what I had ordered. They then went on to insinuate that I merely didn't like the shoes, and that I had different "preferences" to other people. Lol... I think every person on the earth would prefer that their toes didn't hang 4cm through the front of their shoes or that their shoes could be secured to their feet properly. Both of these pairs were an accident waiting to happen! I could not wear these shoes. After much back and forth emails to try to rectify this problem which included them offering me 1 "free" pair of shoes but I had to pay the $24 shipping (totally unfair as this was their mistake) , I finally decided to hand it over to my bank to reverse the payment. All I wanted was the shoes I ordered, all they needed to do was rectify their problem. I am still waiting for the company to provide a return address so that i can now send their rejects back to them as well as the other pair now. Each time I asked for the address they ignored my question. It seems from other reviews I have read on this platform and elsewhere that this company makes a habit of shipping defective and poor quality shoes across Australia and then thinks they can charge us for their defective products. This needs to be stopped! Very bad customer service, poor product quality control, just a bad company all round.
I would have given -50 stars if I could!

If I can give zero stars I would. The claim to be Australian company, but the shoes arrived from Hongkong - without a box, just a polybag, stitches missed so the shoe gaps, supposed to be an orthopaedic shoe, it came without any insole! I wrote to them for a refund, they denied it flat, saying it was discounted. Mate, it's defective upon arrival! I even sent photos as evidence. Anyway, I have lodged a complaint with PayPal and getting my refund via them.
