Misleading information, they call themselves "EU Store" but lie about the shipping address. They do NOT operate from Germany! Parcels are shipped from Shenzen, China and take absolute AGES to arrive.

Contacted EU offices to take a closer look at Cablemod's operations as this is deliberately providing wrong info to potential customers. Unnaceptable they can operate within the EU like that.

I heard so many good things about cablemod, but I'm very disappointed. I ordered the incorrect cable, and there's nothing they can do about it apparently besides offering me a discount on a new order. It feels like they rushed it out when I let them know that I needed to cancel it. Buyer beware. The customer service is not as good as they claim it to be.

I bought a 12vhpwr angled adapter for my GPU, which was subject to a recall. Unfortunately, my 12vhpwr connector on the GPU side burned out.
Cablemod covered the entire cost of repairs, including shipping the GPU, the cost of repairs, and refund for the faulty adapter.
Despite the inconvenience, I am very satisfied with their professionalism and responsiveness.

Really disappointed by Cablemod.
Last month I made an order from cablemod EU store for custom cables PSU cables. I live in Germany and I when I saw that they ship from Hückelhoven, Germany (as written with huge popup on their website) I was happy that the delivery will be fast and problem free.
Well guess what I still don't have my cables. In cablemod website it says that my order is completed and they handed it to DPD. I got in contact with DPD and they told me that they haven't been given the shipment only they were "alerted". Next thing I was quite surprised by the high shipment fee having in mind that they ship from Germany to Germany and now when I use the "tracking number" I can see that the shipment is actually done from Shenzhen China not Hückelhoven, Germany as stated in their website. I reached out to Cablemod last week, but I haven't had any answer from them.

Absolute horror! I ordered cables over 2 weeks ago and there is still not tracking at all! They dispatched them 2 days ago just frustrating in 2025 to get 2 weeks for sending item! On their website was written 3-7 days delivery from "EU STORE" which appears to operate in Shenzen, China.... Don't buy! There are way better opportunities than waiting months for cables!

How are they doing what they do when they don't even know what a CPU cable is... 2 times they sent me a cable, BOTH times the cable was a GPU cable....

No wait message before purchase. Email after purchase. 4 week minimum wait period and 3 to 7 days normal postage yet 35 euro delivery. Absolutely toxic of a company

My refund of a 12VHPWR adapter was simple. No back and forth needed.
Will consider buying from them in the future again

Very disrespectful customer service, plays mind games, keeps copy pasting and not helping and no phone support. No direct answer all over the place!!!

I recently dealt with an issue I had with a set of their cables that Amazon was actually responsible for. Without being asked to, they told me don't return them, just throw them out and they'd send me a whole new set, because the set I received had been opened with another customers info on the wrapper which was shoved in the box. So all in all an outstanding company. I think most of the reviews on here are about people upset about their recall of 12 volt GPU cables which they've since rectified. And they're honestly the best cables out there! Shout out to Cablemod_Matt for helping me out on Reddit, you still rock bro!

HORRIBLE customer service. I was one of the customers who was unlucky enough to purchase the 90 Degree Angled Adapters that were recalled. They offered me a choice of 2 solutions and my decision was met with no follow up. Just melted PC parts. I tried to be understanding of the situation since they just tried to create a solution for the strange predicament of the 12vhpwr cables. I have since been gifted a gift card that would never be operable until I emailed customer service asking why, and it would suddenly work moments later. As if they purposely prevented giftcards from functioning. Forcing customers to take more steps to use them. I had placed 2 orders, one without and one with said gift card. Both orders were vital to some important work station computers for my company so I paid for expedited shipping, on all in stock cables. I had even received any tracking information over a week later when both packages should have been delivered by now. When I reached out the only the customer support employee could do was blame Amazon PBA and say that they haven't heard back from them. It took over 2 weeks for me to get my orders. Slowing my business down substantially and I requested a refund on my expedited shipping since I did in fact not receive it. They refuse to refund me because it was "amazon's fault and not theirs" even though they chose to outsource to amazon, not me. A very large 3rd strike from me. This company is the last place that should be purchased from. Quality of the product has fallen off greatly as well.

1-Made the order friday october 4th (1 minute after informed there was a mistake)
2-Got reply from cablemod on october 6th informing it was out of a 24 hours allowable change .
3-The order was neither prepared or shipped by at least 5 days: Was only shipped on the 11th of october

Still they shipped me the wrong cable.

After receiving, exchanged several emails to solve the situation:
Proposed solutions:
-For me to resell it in the market
-To buy a custom made cable 61 euros and they would offer me 50% discount (exactly the same cable and specs but without the necessity of being custom made is 29 euros)

After almost one month, no proper answer or attitude towards the solution.

First time cablemod buyer, heard good things and saw good video reviews so I tried them out. Sent my pc list to their support email and was able to get a fairly quick response on which cables i would need for my build, i designed them and paid over 200.00 dollars. Got my cables within 2 weeks which wasn't bad, went to build my pc and i had a few issues.

1. The motherboard cables were spliced too low so i cannot plug them into my corsair 1,000w psu. The 2 slots they plug into are not in line but one then another behind so the splices make it so i cannot split the connectors far enough to plug it in. Also they formed the cables the wrong way so even if i could use them i cannot get it to plug onto the mobo because the bend is backward and when i try to turn it the cable is a mess

2. the gpu cables have the same issue as my mobo ones. they are very hard to plug into all the psu slots because the splices are so low on the cable. Also formed in a way that looks like crap and i cannot flex them or reform them no matter how hard i try.

3. The 8 pin cables came in the right form and plugged in and look great, so nice job on those ones!

4. Trying to get a response on if i can get new mobo/gpu cables or if im out of luck -- if they fix the issues i have i would buy again, if not i would definitely not buy again.

Cables look good, formed wrong makes them a nightmare and they DO NOT flex or move as everyone else told me they would. 2 stars for now. will update later if anything changes

I purchase cables from CableMod in August 2023, one of the 8-pin PCIe cables melted and killed my RTX 3070Ti GPU. I reached out and the CEO personally sorted out a new card and new cables free of charge. but after being in my new computer for 6 months the new cables have melted again the same exact way. luckily my RX 7900 XT GPU is fine.

CableMod cables are not what they used to be.

Bought a connector for my 4090 that was recalled, but not before melting and damaging my GPU. They still have not paid me my refund. Refuse to write me a check. Forced me to create a paypal account to receive payment and refuse to process it now that I have given them the info. Garbage customer service and honestly the refund isn't even worth the countless times I have provided them the same information in the various forms from hell. Stop being lazy and fix it.

Rubbish. Looks good but so many issues. I have a 4090, the cablemod cable caused constant crashes, got another custom color one and a new issue created by revving up the gpu fans to max and cutting off the display. I was having this issue for months, randomly. after fault finding piece for piece thinking its some hardware, it turns out it was the F****** cable! I found the solution after a deep dive through reddit. Swapped cable to another brand and issue is gone for over a month of daily usage. The cablemod end/plug which connects to the gpu also has a lot of wiggle room. I'll never recommend this, 0 stars if I could, much better alternatives out there!
Stay away, far far away!

I've dealt with companies like this. Believing that it's the cats pajamas. Delays after delays. 3 times I've bought 2 times I've been told , oh BTW we are going to send it whenever we want and say we are upgrading our fab site. And the funny thing, this is the 2nd time their fab got upgraded with my order waiting. Even PayPal gives this company oral satisfaction by not honoring my dispute. A bag of douches both PP and CM

As everyone has said, a terrible experience with a terrible company.
I unfortunately bought their garbage 4090 angled adapter. I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones who didn't have the 4090 destroyed by their GARBAGE. This was only because it took me several more months to save up and find a 4090 card.
They are so bad that they're having to do a recall, but don't worry, as many others have said, you still won't be getting any money back from these scammers.
They have a phone number, but won't answer. They have "customer service" but the only reason they responded was because I said I was interested in one of their products.
I hope people will heed all the negative reviews, I would hate to have others ripped off by these scammers.
