I had two reservations in Cape Verde with the company. The first one went smoothly, without even requiring a deposit.

For the second reservation, I had booked in advance and given prior notice in good time. However, during the trip I had limited internet access and, as I was enjoying the experience, I did not check my email regularly. The reservation was cancelled because I did not respond to an email sent in the days leading up to it.

The deposit was refunded and I was provided with another vehicle, although it was not the one I had originally chosen, as it was no longer available. I was disappointed with the situation, but it was resolved as best as possible.

We rented for a day at Mindelo cruise pier. The was delivered to the pier and picked up at the pier - perfect personal service with easy handling. The car was in excellent condition technically as well immaculately clean. I would always rent their cars again

Perfect pick-up at Santo Antao. We loved the car with automatic gear which was quite comfortable to cruise the beautiful landscape and cobble stone roads.

I had a great experience with cabo verde rental cars. I booked a car from Fernando Rent a Car. The Booking was super easy and i had no Problems. All in all a very smooth experience without any issues. Would definetly do it again.

Easy to use website, quick confirmation of availability, quick to respond to a change of drop off time caused by a forced change of flight.
The cars were from local businesses and were in near perfect condition. Pick up and drop off went smoothly and was much faster than using the big rental companies.
If only all car rental was half as good as this.

We rented a Suzuki Jimny from
Alucar at Santiago. Everything worked as expected. Car was ok, pick-up and drop-off worked smoothly, contact via whatsapp and email, contract was already prepared when we arrived.

Brought the car even though plane delayed 3 hrs so pick up became 20:30. Automatic fine for 1 week on Santiago.

Despite our late arrival, everything was pretty well organized at the airport. Car was also ok for our purposes. All went well also by car return. Therefore I can recomend Caboverderentalcars.

Good car and very helpful if there is a problem. They were in contact with me prior to arrivasl in Cabo Verde through whatsapp which made for easy communication. A bit late when I arrived but otherwise excellent.

I have rented a car with Caboverderentalcars in Praia. Communication was easy, the service from Fernando great (delivered the Car without extra cost to my Hotel), the car (a Kia Picanto) was quite new and so in good condition. Clear recommendation.
