I have had so many issues with my boiler and its taken many months of dealing with multiple parties. Today the Dream team from Cadent arrived and i pray i now have gas flow to my house. Simian , David and Harrison from Broxbourne area were absolutely above and beyond brilliant. Last week keeley helped and got the ball rolling . Thank you all of you who helped get my house back on the grid. Its been a super stressful 6mths with issues.

We had to order a replacement safety locking valve for our elderly Mother. The team couldn't have been more helpful and a very friendly and polite engineer arrived the next day and fitted it !!! Excellent all round, very impressed.

Having been without gas for 2 days, first day not being turned until after 7 in the evening, day 2 the same. No way of cooking hot food as I don’t have either a microwave or an air fryer. No hot water. There are no engineers to come and turn the gas back on as this is a different team! Contacted the number on the card, same old crud response. Totally unacceptable. There’s an elderly lady in our close what is she supposed to do. I think some form of compensation should be on the cards.

Was one driver on Sunday near Croxley green where was event .A lot of people pass the road and one driver from Cadent showed inappropriate signs to the drivers who running slowly and to the people who pass the road

For about the forth time in the past 12 months Cadent have been 'repairing a leaking gas pipe at the crossroads of Torrington and Belvidere in Wallasey. When are they going to fix the issue once & for all? Get it right 1st time Cadent

Engineer arrived within an hour problem was low gas pressure he explained everything to me checked and adjusted regulator and that c/heating boiler was now getting the correct pressure at all time was very polite and clean in his approach

Emailed Cadent to express concern re gas pipe sticking up on driveway, and our new heavy vehicle driving over it. Within minutes of sending email, I got a call, next came a home visit to check the pipe (same day), next came engineers to sort the pipe (next day), then came gas fitters to turn our gas back on (same day)…..all within 24 hours. Best service I’ve seen in a long time…well done Cadent, wish all contractors were as efficient! All staff we spoke to were pleasant and helpful can’t fault any of them.

We had a new gas boiler installed by a leading national installation company. The next day I could smell gas leaking from the meter box. Cadent were called and their engineer arrived promptly within 30 minutes. He did a thorough check and identified the source of the leak. He was horrified by the way that the installation contractor had fitted new pipe work to the meter. He cut out the faulty pipe work and replaced it. He was polite, efficient and tidy, and explained what needed doing at each stage. Brilliant service!

Turned up within 15 mins of the call, did not have the part on his van, however someone else arrived within 10 mins with the part and sorted the leak! Also checked my boiler was up and running once the gas had been switched back on,reassuring me that the gas leak had been resolved. very professional and polite young men, credit to your company

We haven't had gas for 2 years as all electric. Received a "missed you" card as they want to disconnect the service - but no contact to arrange in advance and don't answer the phone number on the card - wasting both my time and money- bring back nationalisation.
Further update. Phone call in response next working day - promised a call from relevant department same day - 2 day later hasn't materialised but a bill from my phone company for £16.34 for ringing them on the "premium rate number" on their card - and thats for being kept on hold for nearly 19 minutes and never speaking to anyone - They don't deserve the 1 star minimum.

Within 30 mins of me smelling gas and calling they were at my door and fixed the problem straight away. Friendly, professional, service, respecting my home leaving it tidy. Also great communication and safety advice from customer service.

We could smell gas in the street. And in the house I thought we had a gas leak. I called Cadent. The call centre told us to turn off the Gas at the isolation valve and open all windows and doors which we did they said the gas engineer will be there as soon as they possibly could be. He was here in under 30 minutes. The Engineer introduced himself and presented the correct ID. Then the Engineer mythologically went around the property testing all around the house for a gas leak and then even went round the perimeter and checked our air bricks. Then the engineer checked all gas devices and even supply us with a free carbon monoxide detector. This is amazing service and going above and beyond my expectations well done. 👍🏼
