Love my new camper van. Martin was very helpful and helped me make a great choice. The video he sent before collecting the van was so very helpful. Thank you Martin and Caledonian Campers.

I had for many years dreamt of buying a camper as the thought of just going where the notion takes me was and is really appealing, and I've now got to the age where I've decided now is the time. I trawled through many websites and decided on Caledonian Campers in Clydebank and went to visit them for a chat to see what my options might be where I was introduced to Martin, whom I took to right away and I think he did with me too, so I think I knew then these were the guys for me. Eventually after much deliberation on my part I settled on a VW transporter startling with a grand tourer interior and I put down my deposit and placed the order in August 2021. Martin said it would be the spring of 2022 before we could expect delivery which suited me just fine, and over the next few months I was back and forth discussing the progress of my van and around November 2021 a more definitive date for its arrival was given as January-February 22 which was the case, and I was then given a delivery date of end of March 2022 and I duly picked up my van on March 21st. Given such difficult trading circumstances at this time, what Caledonian Campers did was what they said they would do within the time frame predicted and with no material or financial changes. They gave me a very personal one to one experience in a genuinely friendly manner and keeping me up to date on progress every step of the way and I do now feel like they are my friends. Even now as I'm still learning about all aspects of my VW Camper they are more than helpful in answering questions I have on the ins and outs of how everything works saying if that any help I need, I only have to ask, so I say to you all at Caledonian Campers, thank you for making me happy.

My wife had been eyeing up vans on Caledonian Campers website for months, if not longer. We had a video call with Martin who showed us around a van and then we booked an appointment to visit the dealership in Clydebank. We took our 8 month old puppy, Saffie, with us. They are a welcoming & friendly bunch and very much dog friendly. Martin is plain speaking, straight to the point and easy to chat to - which is what you want when you are about to spend a lot of pennies on a van. He answered all of our questions, was efficient with communications and (importantly) there was no hard sales pitch. We went ahead and bought a van - Martin took Saffie for a wee walk while we had a good look around it 😊 He was very diligent with regards to all the paperwork involved. Great communication from us signing the paperwork to picking it up 2 weeks later. We received a 20 minute video of Martin showing us around our new van, how to work everything and the do’s & don’t - this video has been super helpful to us, we can’t fault his attention to detail. Down to earth, friendly, open, honest and knowledgeable 😃

I put a deposit down on a new Campervan at the Expo Aberdeen recently. My van was made to spec and delivered promptly. Unfortunately (for me) I didn’t like the bed configuration, my fault as I’d spec’d it. Martin and the team at Caledonian dealt with my issue in a very professional, courtesy & satisfactory manner and resolved my problem. For me the sign of a company who stands out over others is how they deal with customer issues and on this occasion I’m delighted to say they resolved mine. This has resulted in a great Campervan made to the highest specification & a very happy customer. Well done to Martin & the team at Caledonian Campers, 5 stars service and a great customer experience.

Visited Caledonian Campers with a view to "Just Looking" as most people do. Then met up with Martin Sheffield, what can I say, he knew his stuff. No hard sell, just plain, honest, down to earth chat......Martins, knowledge, mannerism and the fact that Caledonian Campers came across as an informative, friendly business sold it for us. So from going to a just looking day ..then to a knowledgeable discussion, again no hard sell, they don't need to....the Camper Vans are impeccable.Our minds were made up, sat down, had a chat, plenty information, had a laugh and the serious discussion. Then the dreaded words came....Well is VW for You both....after a 2 second thought..Yip it's for us...hands shaked, deal done...Just the way you like to be treated. Phoned, messaged with questions, All answered with utmost courtesy and every phone call returned within a short period of time. Picked van up today, received all paperwork, given loads of time to chat, ask questions, never once felt hurried or right that's yous, see ya, nope nothing was too much bother. Every single member of staff were courteous, knowledgeable and just generally nice people to deal with. Have to say we also received an Oscar Performance from Martin Sheffield by video providing important information about the van, showing how things operate on your own van...an absolute God send, its become a daily view in our household. A well earned Oscar is on its way to you Martin...lol
If you are a newbie looking to change your lifestyle or just want a change of van then I would definitely recommend Caledonian Campers.

If, like me you are in the market for a beautiful VW Camper Van I can't rate Caledonian Campers high enough. I'm in love my machine and the quality of the conversion. Such a friendly and welcoming crew and Martin gave me great and honest service from the start talking through options, pros and cons and regular progress updates. The little touches and after service also great and picking the van up was a happy and memorable occasion. I did my homework before my initial visit and looked at a number of UK dealers so really felt I was given the right advice. Many happy adventures ahead. Life's too short not to.

We bought our VW T6 from Caledonian and the whole experience was fantastic. This is our first campervan so we had done a lot of research and knew what we wanted, so when we saw the perfect base van pop up on Caledonian's Instagram we knew our luck was in. Martin talked us through all the conversion options and really thought about what would work best for us. The price and quality of the conversion was first class, we couldn't have gone anywhere else. Prior to collecting the van Martin sent a video to show us how everything works (I still rely on that video!). Nothing was ever too much trouble and we'd highly recommend buying your next camper from Caledonian.

We replaced our much loved 1986 T25 Transporter in March 2022 with a new T28 Caledonian Campers conversion. Firstly, the quality of the workmanship and materials were first class and the basic utility of these campers had to be experienced to be to be believed. With Apple car play, a table integrated into the sliding door, an awning and a reversing camera before you even get to the camper basics which were all thoughtfully designed and beautifully constructed. Martin Sheffield was fantastic to deal with. He knows his camper van stuff inside out and together with his dry humour and patience he answered all our questions and got our dream van built for us. Thank you Martin and thank you all of the technical and office staff at Caledonian Campers. See you in 5 years for a VW Crafter conversion.

We bought our first camper (VW T6) from caledonian and had great experience, knowledgeable staff and our van was amazing! A few years and many great adventures later, my husband smashed his leg up on a motocross bike, making the T6 impossible for us to get away camping in. On a lucky day we spoke to Martin and a preordered Wildax was available (usually at least 6 months waiting list) Martin was amazing, getting our van registered and ready within the tight time limit to get us away to the Isle of Wight festival 😍 pre-collection he sent videos showing us newbies how to use the van and all the bits we hadn’t had in the VW. Right up to collection (helping me, the newly designated driver, set up my seat etc) we had great service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kudos also to Isla, Stevie, their new puppy and the rest of the team for great, honest and welcoming service! No doubt we’ll be back for another van, but hopefully not too soon while we enjoy adventuring in Bizzy Lizzy the Wildax

Bought a T6 conversion earlier in the year. Absolutely love the van and the service when buying and aftercare were first class from Martin!

We placed our order towards the end of last year from the excellent and efficient
Caledonian Campers. Because of Covid our lovely Wildax Solaris XL suffered delayed delivery. But it was well worth the wait! We were kept posted along the way and it was safely delivered to us. It has lived up to all our expectations. We really couldn’t be more pleased with both the service we received from Caledonian Campers and the Wildax!

Picked up my first ever camper on the 27th August. From the first day we went (just to have a look). Until the day we picked it up. The service was brilliant. Martin guided us through the process with ease and answered all my questions even, the daft ones very quickly.

Our experience of Caledonian Campers from the very first moment we visited- was excellent. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and buying from them was simple and hassle free.
John C was excellent at explaining all procedures which included a full run down of all the facilities in the vehicle on the day we collected. Our private plates were even transferred. We recently bought our first ever VW T6 Campervan, a quick trip to Go Outdoors resulted in a curious detour into Caledonia Campers and that’s it really. As soon as that van door slid open we were sold on the spot! The quality of their conversions in comparison to others we have viewed was outstanding.

What we loved about this experience is there was no hard sale, the vans sell themselves but what you get from the customer service is rare, you’re guided, advised, listened to and supported - before and after the sale!

Martin Sheffield is the star of this show for us, with the right balance of professionalism, some humour and a little bit of flirting (not with me, with my husband!) he made what was a daunting time for us really enjoyable and smooth. On pick up of our van he provided a really useful video resource explaining the ins and outs of the van (My husband watches this nightly like it’s the 10 o clock news!) and has continued to provide advice and support as we navigate our new van.

It has been an absolute pleasure buying from CC. I have taken a while to write our review as I knew no matter what I wrote, it wouldn’t do this business and Martin justice. Maybe the next thing I write will be an article for Take A Break magazine with the headline ‘sales specialist stole my husband!’

Ordered a VW T6 GT Conversion back in March and collected van early June. The customer care from start to finish has been outstanding. Our van arrived on time from the factory and conversion completed as per schedule. Martin Sheffield looked after us from start to finish and it's lovely to deal with someone who is genuinely friendly, honest and helpful. There was an issue with the van sent by VW but this was remedied straightaway by Caledonian Campers and their solution worked out extremely well in our favour - customer service that went beyond what was expected. We were upgrading our VWT2 Brazilian campervan after many happy years of van life and after much research decided to go with Caledonian Campers for our new van as we liked the layout and quality of their conversions. We have just picked up out new VWT6 and are delighted with it, great layout and fantastic quality. Throughout the purchase and conversion process Martin kept us up to date with photos and information, we joked it was like getting our 12 week scan results!!
We were able to choose the exact colours and materials we wanted and were expertly advised on recommendations and suggestions to get the van just perfect.
We would like to thank Martin for his time and lovely manner which really helped make the whole process a pleasure, especially as I was going through hospital treatment and not always quite on the ball!!
