Picked up our new camper van yesterday. Quality of finish is excellent. In fact all the way through the process Martin S was great, friendly and super helpful. Can recommend them highly enough!!

We came home today with our beautiful VW T6 LWB ! We really can have a party with all that space. Thanks to John and all the team! Cannot begin to tell you how professional, courteous and knowledgeable John is - we laughed so much and all my “stupid” questions were answered. Really appreciated the tour of the workshop including the sewing room. John also took us to see his own van where he shared some great ideas we were able to incorporate in our camper. This really helped us decide on Caledonian Campers. Workmanship is quite impeccable with such attention to every detail (even down the last minute adjustment needed before we drove away to accommodate the porta potti. thanks Andy!)

Just picked up our new Wildax van from Caledonian Campers and they have been totally fantastic! There was a delay in the van arriving from the manufacturer and Martin kept us informed all the way through the whole thing. When the van finally arrived, he did a wonderful video showing how everything worked, which has been invaluable! Martin was an absolute pleasure to deal with, as was everyone at Caledonian Campers…I would wholeheartedly recommend them!

I bought my first campervan from Caledonian Campers and collected it last week. I am absolutely over the moon and love it!!!

Martin and the team were fantastic and faultless in their service from start to finish. I knew very little about the process of converting a VW and Martin guided me through the whole experience, in a non-pressured, gentleman like manner. Our experience with Caledonian Campers was great!
We purchased a T28 Highline Camper which is an amazing top quality camper! Martin was so helpful we had a few hick ups along the way but he was always re-assuring and so helpful, we got the perfect camper! We love it so much we have also just ordered a new one!

One word sums up the Caledonian Campers purchase experience .. Trust.

From the first visit the friendly, relaxed, engaging, non pressurised gentle education of what we might be looking for not, having a clue about how to make a value judgment on a fairly large investment, John and the team were open and honest throughout.

To the non scheduled “lets look at the campervans in the workshop” to the patient hand holding through the specification process it was about making the right decision for us.. not about making a sale.

We recently purchased our brand new T6 campervan from Caledonian campers and I cannot fault the service we have received from all the guys there. John was so helpful and always answers my silly questions over txts rapid which is great. The whole journey was very easy, the standard our camper is finished to is excellent. We have already had our first adventure which was amazing! The atmosphere at Caledonian is so relaxed and it feels like a family vibe, everyone is really nice and mega helpful. I first heard of Caledonian campers from staycation Scotland on Instagram, who I know trust and value the service at Caledonian so it was an easy find and purchase for us. I would highly recommend the team if you are looking for a fab home on wheels👌🏻

I picked up my Campervan yesterday. Having read reviews for Caledonian Campers and having seen them mentioned in online Forums I took the plunge to get them for the "professional" conversion to my VW T5. There's always some person along the way who knows someone who can convert your van, my advice is DON'T let them do it. Invaluable advice from John(who also has his own Campervan) throughout the whole process let me build the Campervan most suitable to my needs and perhaps to add value for any future sale.
There's a great atmosphere at the showroom with completely knowledgeable staff. A teething issue in my final inspection was fixed in minutes.
Are there cheaper alternatives to a Caledonian Campers conversion? Probably there are, but if you want an impeccable job, with professional workmanship using the absolute best of materials/equipment then don't ask your mate to do it. Choose the professional option.
Ps,,,,,,,,,,,, and a lovely little surprise gesture at the end which was a really nice touch.

We went for a browse after visiting Caledonian Campers website and ended up buying a Wildax Aurora Leisure XL.

There was no saws pressure from Martin who talked us through the practicalities and all the mod cons within the van. A professional service from start to finish.

The walk through video before delivery was very useful and will continue to be for many trips to come.

Nice personal touches when collecting the van which we’re unexpected and most appreciated.

We went to look for a campervan and ended up ordering a Wildax Pulsar. The service was excellent from start to finish. Martin was excellent and really picked up what was important to us. Picking it up today was a really good experience and we appreciated the wine and goodies. Would highly recommend.

We had been checking out various campervan websites since the start of the year & decided to take the plunge with Caledonian Campers. This is our 1st campervan purchase experience & really cannot praise the company & its staff enough, in particular Martin, who made this a painless, hassle free & pleasant purchasing experience. From our first visit to final purchase we were dealt with respect & consideration & time was taken to understand our needs with no sales pressure whatsoever. On the day of collection we were delighted with the additional unexpected tailored touches/additions, walkthrough of the many functions of the van & again delivered in a friendly, professional & hassle free manner. Great costumer service, really friendly and professional.
Nothing was to much trouble. Listened to every thing I said but also offered practical expert advice as a result I picked up exactly the camper I needed and wanted without paying for extras I would never use. And to top it off it was ready when they said it would be and built to very high standard. Well done and thank you Martin and the team. Highly recommend

Bought a Wildax Europa Motorhome in March through Caledonian. Brilliant customer service throughout, every member of staff we came in contact with was friendly and professional. Recently contacted them for advice and again, extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Having rented from Caledonian Campers twice we felt we had tested out their configuration and finishes. We put their rental van through 18 days of torrential rain and high winds in the Highlands in September last year. So we were confident of the robust quality and the high spec. Their VW conversions are like a TARDIS - so much can go in it - quite amazing. During COVID we looked closer to home in London - but couldn't find anyone who did the same standard of fit or configuration, and were nervous to buy without testing first. John took us through the whole process - They sourced a van and we agreed the Grand Tourer fit out. John was so knowledgeable,enthusiastic, amazingly patient and reassuring, he was a problem solving lateral thinker. Gave us ideas, discussed our requirements, made suggestions and cheerfully incorporated our many demands and changes of mind! All finish options were shown over video link and links and samples sent to us. We decided to have a hob but not to have an oven, it gave even more space and we have not regretted that decision. We were reassured that any issues could be dealt with locally as they had contacts down South. They would have delivered but we couldn't resist collecting once lockdown permitted. We've now taken it away twice for a total of 3 weeks and are DELIGHTED! In a nutshell Caledonian Campers are a very Friendly, Trustworthy, Transparent, High quality, Enthusiastic Business and we would highly recommend them...

We have just purchased an Autotrail Motorhome from the guys at Caledonian campers, this is not their normal business as the deal mainly with Volkswagen campervans. They were so helpful with our buying experience and they gave us an excellent turn around time from purchase to collection was less than a week. Thanks again to Martin for his great service and humour.

We bought a SWB VW van from Caledonian Campers. We opted to buy one which had just came out the workshop, rather then wait for a bespoke conversion, so we could get it on the road soon as poss. after lockdown! Martin and the team made buying and getting on the road a straightforward experience. We have now used it for a couple of camping weekends, and are thoroughly enjoying it.

We've been customers here since 2016. This fantastic group of professionals did a bespoke van conversion for us then - and the workmanship and aesthetics of the conversion (both the van and the soft furnishings) were outstanding - real artistry in the finish. We've just been back to trade it in for a Wildax Solaris XL, as our needs have changed, and have had first class service from Martin Sheffield, who has looked after us from purchase to delivery and handover, keeping us informed of progress all the way. I would highly recommend this company.

Popped in by chance just for a look at camper van conversions, the first one we saw we were hooked. Absolutely stunning. Service from John and the team fantastic, great workmanship and finishing touches. Would recommend. Cannot wait to hit the road on our travels.
