Similar experience and sentiments with others posting here. Calligaris is overpriced extremely poor quality furniture. Bought Romy chairs - falsely informed were genuine leather (and believable given the price) but are extremely thin bonded leather which has pealed off and is cracking after a year of use. I have received no reply from their customer service.
In summary, egregious disparity between the price and quality, compounded by lack of customer consideration.

Terrible quality. Considering the very high price point for the dining chairs we bought (abrey chairs). We purchased 8 chairs less than a year ago and 2 have already broken. One of the legs sheered off at the same place on both chairs. In the year we have owned them we have had exactly ONE dinner party. In total each chair has been sat in less than 5 times.

We bought Calligaris Igloo Chairs about 5 years ago. We liked them because of the soft leather. Unfortunately the chairs started bubbling up and now peeling off like the cheapest plastic chair ever. We've never experience something so awful with furniture. We tried to contact them via emails, instead of assisting us, they offered us a 30% discount on our next purchase. We were hoping they would collect the chairs and fix them and now they offering us to buy furniture again from them. What a Joke!! Now are are stuck with Plastic chairs that are peeling off. Overly priced and now they don't want to take responsibility for their chairs.

Customer service is non existent and I haven't even picked up my order. The uddingston store is a franchise and do not keep in line with manufacturers web pricing. Will not be ordering or recommending them.

Bought a very expensive table online, because it was during the pandemic and the stores were closed. The table looks nice, but the legs are awful, you don't have space for the legs, and it is really a shame that design is so bad, we are always bumping our knees on it. We contacted the customer service, to help us to sort this problem with the base, so we could keep the table, but just the new base costs more than 1k. I would be really glad if they could at least help us with a better value for this base as we already purchased an expensive table.
