We visited the London Flagship Store in January and ordered 6 breakfast table chairs from Angelika, who was extremely helpful.
The chairs arrived last week and they are beautiful, exactly what we wanted.
The whole process from order, to delivery and build was very smooth and professional

Great showroom, choice and expertise of staff who helped us choose some fabulous dining chairs to replace our existing ones that had become quite worn. We were guided to choose leather as this would be longer lasting and therefore more sustainable. Super choice of colours.
We got a great discount with the Black Friday sale.
Chairs were delivered this week and look great. Very stylish and comfortable.

I purchased a beautiful expensive Omnia dining table from Calligaris in Tottenham Court Road. In my experience Calligaris are fine to deal with unless something goes wrong. Our new dining table broke on the very first use of the extension. The supporting glass under the table shattered dangerously throughout with an extremely loud popping noise from all 4 bolts. Rather than accepting this as a fault and apologising, and in order to avoid giving me a refund, I was unbelievably accused of placing a heavy load on the table. This is despite me sharing a video of the glass shattering as it happened. I eventually accepted a replacement, which was estimated to take several weeks. After further chasing, Calligaris admitted the tabletop design had changed and thankfully agreed to a refund. I then had to chase that refund almost daily for three weeks, only to be told by the store manager that the London branch had insufficient funds and I would need to wait for further sales to come in. An unprecedented and lengthy stressful experience with an unprofessional retailer leaving me with no dining table over xmas.

Great products, we bought a dinning table, chairs, sideboard and mirror here. The manager Dylan and Nikolina were really helpful in the London showroom. The delivery was seamless with a team of four guys who were really quick and tidy. Would highly recommend, everyone loves the new furniture.

The quality of the sideboard, which was to our specifications. The very helpful staff who were polite and efficient and the speed in which we received our item. A great company to deal with.

We love our new dining table and the texture on the ceramic we chose made it unique. It looks very resistant as well.
Calligaris team was on top and the service we had was very efficient.
All together, delivery time was not that long. I would 100% recommend.

I just had to write a review about my calligaris experience.Damien handled my problem exceptionally well. He got my chairs exchanged even though I didn’t hold out much hope as they were over 4 years old and the 2 nd lot.Damien really tried for me and he got a result. I can’t thank him enough.Even down to the delivery drivers were extremely helpful and nice. I will definitely purchase calligaris furniture in the future.

Bought a very expensive Dining table and 6 chairs by Calligaris.
The table is lovely and well made, but the chairs have been atrocious and completely fallen apart with very light usage. We didn't expect such poor quality after paying more than £250 per chair. The faux leather on every chair has split around the seats. We have literally sat on them about 30 times

My parents are in their 80's and barely use the dining set and don't hold massive dinner parties. From simply sitting, the chairs have become an eyesore. We expected the retailer to take some action but they just blamed it on regular wear and tear! I have had no response from my emails to Calligaris! I note that another reviewer has had a similar experience!

At the very least these chairs should be taken off the market. Please don't waste your money on this brand.

Fantastic customer service and quality product

I bought a coffee table recently. The quality of the product and the sales team were excellent. Delivery could be better, as they were contacting me at short notice when they had arranged other deliveries in my area, hence took me a while to get my item.

Avoid this company. High price, low quality and awful customer service. I bought a sofa from these guys and was ignored when I reported a problem. Not even a month into it I noticed that the cushions were overly soft. And the sofa looked old already. Thry told me with a straight face that I needed to move all of the cushions around every few days. I’ve owned sofas in the past and never hears such foolishness. I listened and stupidly moved the cushions around. There was no change. I had to complain to someone over in Italy in order to get a response in my country as I was originally ignored. I stated that there were issues with the sofa and the frame was compromised. More delays and then conveniently the sofa was no longer under the flimsy 1 year warranty. It was so obvious that the sofa frame was crooked, but they demanded picture after picture to prove it. Just delaying of course.

Thry then admitted that there was an issue but I would have to oay to get it fixed. I know a con game when I see one. I will not spend a red cent on anything from this company and have told all friends and family about my experience.

My first mistake was not listening to the boconcept rep who said Calligaris is inferior quality. First clue was boconcept 5 year warranty out the door. Calligaris had 1 year which is poor. Can’t even compete with EQ3. I didn’t listen and paid the price.

People willing to pay this kind of money for furniture have high expectations and have low tolerance for bad quality and bad customer service.

Issues happen all the time, good companies stand by their product and do whatever it takes to resolve issues. Calligaris is not that type of company and I will never buy anything from them.

I now have to buy a new sofa that barely lasted a year. Do not take your customers for granted. We will spend our money elsewhere.

Similar to other reviews, my Calligaris chairs have lasted 6 years. Although comfortable they are perishing. Contacting Calligaris support was no use (possible recover option?) so they are now destined for landfill. Suggest buying elsewhere.

Update: After a couple of weeks of trying to get hold of Calligaris they looked at the chair photos. Seems they cannot be repaired and they offered a new set for £700. So that's £140 a year for 5 years for 4 chairs after which time when they would then need to be replaced again because the quality of the covering is poor. So I will be buying somewhere else and assigning these to landfill (it's > £700 to get a local uphostalry company to fix them). It would be interesting to see Calligaris environmental policy though I feel they wouldnt have one.

I love the products from this company, timeless classics that always get wonderful comments in my house.

When I needed to replace a part (8 years later) called to ask where I could source. They then proceeded to blow me away with world class customer service.

Not only did they carry the part they supplied for free with very quick delivery!

This is not about the flagship store, as we purchased our table and chairs from another company who have gone under, but directed at the manufacturers.
Buyers beware of choosing the faux leather option!! We have had a set of 8 Roma chairs for six years and have been very pleased with them until now.
They have all suddenly started showing signs of wear with tears and splits along the edges, particularly the front edge. The chairs aren’t used on a daily basis so have not had a lot of use. They were bought with young grandchildren and sticky fingers in mind, so we chose faux leather over real leather, as recommended by the salesperson. We certainly weren’t told that faux leather only has a life expectancy of 5-8 years otherwise we would definitely have chosen leather. Now that there are tears in the material you can see that the material is wafer thin and in my opinion not suitable for purpose.
So potential buyers please be warned as we are now facing a huge cost to replace them and are very p****d off!
