Excellent service, lovely furniture

I would like to highlight the wonderful service I received from Damien.B and his team in London. After my sofa sustained pet damage Damien went over and above to help me find a resolution. I couldnt be happier and more grateful for the support- thank you!
Based on this experience I would highly recommend Calligaris.

Extremely disappointing customer experience over parking charges!!!!

Extremely disappointed with Calligaris customer service and management team. I was purchasing the Dakota table £2K+ £90 delivery charge and yet they wanted me to find parking and pay for parking in addition to the values mentioned above. Their poor customer experience has resulted in me cancelling my entire order as this is completely unacceptable. For such a high valued item why would I need to pay more than I am already for delivery if they want parking charges included they should factor it into the total delivery cost not as a separate cost. I do not recommend shopping with Calligaris online and or through their Tottenham Court Road flagship as they don’t know how to treat their customers.

Damien - response please note given where your TCR store is based and the demographics of customers central London parking is always a challenge and you’ll find that Westminster do not give out visitors passes. Any parking arrangements should have been incorporated into the overall delivery charge and not as an add on. Additionally it shouldn’t be down to the customer to find suitable parking spaces as requested by your store. This is something the delivery company should manage themselves. The entire experience has been totally unnecessary and completely avoidable if Calligaris had any customer service. Thank you

I do feel sorry that you had to cancel your order. We never had a problem in the past, clients living in an area with no parking or restrictions do make the necessary arrangements with a free council parking permit or provide the delivery team with a parking pass.
Our delivery charges are calculated most fairly, we do not include extra, special fees in our delivery fee as it would be unfair on the vast majority of our clients to be charged for a parking fee (or else) that is not needed.
I am sure you now appreciate why any extra requirement is added to the standard fee and why we requested that you make the necessary arrangements for your delivery.

Avoid this company

Avoid this company - their products are of subpar quality and their customer service is absolutely dreadful. To illustrate, the door on the TV unit (CS6017-3B: CS601709601214C0151750B) that I purchased a year ago has unexpectedly broken. Surprisingly, it simply detached when I opened it, despite minimal usage. The TV unit was professionally assembled by a representative from Calligaris. Upon reaching out to them for assistance, their response was disheartening - I was informed that I would need to purchase replacement parts for a staggering £1350. Save yourself the trouble and avoid wasting your hard-earned money on this company!

We are very sorry that we could not accept this as a manufacturing fault. For the door to have fallen off, it was subject to misuse, for example weight or pressure applied onto the door. We have offered to replace the damaged part at a cost and I offered you a discount to help as best as I could from the store. I always do my utmost in pressing our aftersales colleagues but there is not much I can argue in your scenario.

Poor customer service, suspect quality

Purchased 4 calligaris bar stools a number of years ago. Seats are acrylic and have all cracked, all the cracks emanate from the same point, suggesting manufacturing defect. However I like the stools and sought to get replacement seats. They’re out of warranty and have tried to purchase replacement seats. Calligaris customer service is appalling, initially said I had to order from a nominated retailer, retailer were not interested in supplying spares. Contacted the store in London, said I had to request online, make the request online, get acknowledgment that Email is received, then 2 days later get an email saying that that they do not accept the email. Products maybe stylish, they are not cheap £500 per barstool, but if you value quality and customer service buy from elsewhere

Expensive, but worth it

Though expensive, the service that Calligaris offered when it came to selecting the furniture, designing the space and figuring out the perfect colour details was crucial in ensuring that the furniture products delivered excellence.

Great sofa and great service

The sofa I purchased at Calligaris was fantastic, I am very happy with it. But the main reason I went with Calligaris is that the people in the retail shop on Tottenham Court Road were fantastic and very knowledgeable about their products. We went to every furniture store on this street (there are many) and this was not the case with many of Calligaris' competitors, who often could not tell you anything which was not explained in the brochure itself. If I needed to buy another sofa I would return to Calligaris without hesitation.

Went in to look for a dining table and…

Went in to look for a dining table and chairs. I am on my own and really didn't have much of a clue as to what I was doing. I received a lot of patient help and am delighted with the final design. Very happy with the whole process and with the beautiful result.

super positive experience and amazing furniture

Matthew, Damien and the entire Calligaris London team have been amazing with us.
We had a small misunderstanding in the ordering process and they solved it immediately!
High quality furniture comes with high quality customer service.
Definitely recommended, super positive experience and amazing furniture!

Bad design and customer service

Bought a very expensive table online, because it was during the pandemic and the stores were closed. The table looks nice, but the legs are awful, you don't have space for the legs, and it is really a shame that design is so bad, we are always bumping our knees on it. We contacted the customer service, to help us to sort this problem with the base, so we could keep the table, but just the new base costs more than 1k. I would be really glad if they could at least help us with a better value for this base as we already purchased an expensive table.
