ZERO customer service.

Management not interested in rectifying a table not fit for purpose.
Head office clearly do not care at all. When
They were condescending… a feel a true reflection of a company is how they behave respond when there is a problem.

This experience has been very disappointing and upsetting experience with Brent Cross and management.

I’ve never written a review before and feel it’s important to share this information as this was a very expensive investment for me.

I sincerely hope they start to care as opposed to ‘DONT’ care.

Purchased a Delta table with 8 chairs for just under £6k 30th January after a lot of research to ensure we had the right stable & solid extendable table. Received the table much later than agreed for all sorts of reasons (still unclear to me due to lack of communication). When table was delivered the staff installing were excellent, one of the lads pointed out the legs were not level - so I took out a level from the garage to check - indeed all 4 legs were not level and accordingly he advised me to write it on the delivery note so the Calligaris after service could sort out. As a result of the legs not being straight the entire table wobbles more than what we experienced in the showroom. Well that is the last of it, after numerous phone calls I was pretty much told I was not right and these things did not happen - they told me the legs are tapered, which was correct but only on one side and obviously I measured the right side to check they were level. I suggested that perhaps it was a design fault and the frame needed replacing, they requested video's and photo's which I send them, we then did not hear anything for weeks so we drove all the way (2 hour roundtrip) to the store in Brent Cross and were told no one there could help as it was an after service issue but someone would call us same day (did not happen) instead I received an email asking for more photo's. We are now starting to understand we made a mistake ......, then told me they send the request to Italy - this was 4 weeks ago and still heard nothing - we are so disappointed in this brand - they did not do anything! Not that we asked for this but any other reputable brand would have taken the table back and provide a full refund.

Visited Calligaris Store in Uddingston and was very impressed with Kate and John. Very knowledgeable about products and very professional and pleasant. Helped with purchase of beautiful leather chair and arranged delivery ASAP. Would highly recommend this company and would highly recommend a visit. Wonderful quality furniture.

We had a brilliant experience in the Thurrock store today with Karen and Martin. Karen was great at helping us decide between all the different options and ideas for design.

We had a fantastic experience with Martin at the Lakeside store who was very patient, attentive and helped us find exactly the table and chairs that we were looking for. He was very considerate about us coming back on multiple occasions and didn’t pressure us into agreeing to anything until we were absolutely ready. All round great experience!

We visited the Thurrock store in Lakeside Retail. Karen was absolutely fantastic and spent the time going through all our options with us. We were undecided at first and didn’t feel pressured at all to make a choice. We were guided by Karen’s expertise and we are very happy with our decision on our dining set, we can’t wait for it to arrive!

We ordered a suite from calligaris , the suite was over 3 months late , turned up with a bent leg , 6 months later this still hasn't been rectified , the store in Uddingston has no customer service whatsoever , broken promises and lies constantly , would definitely avoid this store , won't be buying anything else from calligaris

We were served by sue, she was so kind and helpful. Willing to listen to our needs and helped us make a decision. She wasn’t pushy and understood it’s a big transaction not to be made lightly. Would defo recommend and would purchase items in future!

Calligaris Lakeside gave me a fantastic service. Karen and Mark B. Has been very helpful and gave me a good advised. Help me decide things that am nit sure of. They are very patient, listen to my request and was delightful. I'll be 100 percent recommend their service to my friends.

We came into the lakeside branch and Karen and Martin B were amazing. They talked us through all the stunning dining tables and helped us come to a decision.

Sunil from calligars and Natuzi has helped us alot in choosing the right table and sofa for our home . I would highly recommended them !

Staff were so helpful and not pushy at all, especially Sue in the lakeside story. Love our table so much and can’t wait for delivery.

karen was very helpful & we found exactly what we were looking for.

Rather disappointed with the quality / longevity of chairs purchased from Calligaris.

Obviously they were expensive, Calligaris are a high end designer of contemporary furniture, and with that it was thought would come quality and a durability.

Unfortunately after a period of 24/30 months the padding on the dining room chairs purchased, after initially creasing quite badly, cracked and is very unsightly, to the extent whereby they need replacing.

However, rather than disposing of the chairs and wanting to adopt a 'green approach' I contacted Calligaris to ask if it were possible to purchase replacement backs. There reply contact the shop where the chairs were purchased!

This I did and through them, who contacted Calligaris on our behalf, was told they didn't do replacements and that was an end to the matter!

Now left with some very expensive, not fit for purchase chairs, that need replacing. You can imagine not very pleased with the customer service or responses provided by Calligaris, nor of course the product in the first place, which has left us with a bill for replacement chairs likely to stretch to £1,500 / £2,000.

Only conclusion is that Calligaris should be avoided if you don't want to waste your money!
