Unbelievably tasty and just takes a massive stress out my life whilst having a baby to look after. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough

A totally personalised experience. I am currently in a fat loss phase and Calo makes my life SO easy.
Not only that the meals are the highest quality, delicious and tailored to my every need.
The app is super easy to use and makes swapping meals, leaving out ingredients and changing delivery details a seamless experience.
I would recommend to any of my clients/ friends/ family!
Used Calo on and off for the last 2 years whenever my schedule was super busy. Meals were always delicious and customised to my goals. Also very easy to communicate with customer service whenever I had a question or request.
I went with Calo as I never find time to eat clean food while running my businesses. I have tried other services, but taste and texture was always an issue. Which is why I went to Calo. I love every meal, it works for my lifestyle, and it's keeping my fuelled for work & fitness. Thanks guys!
Convenience and deliciousness in one
Pros: good meals, varied and fresh. Allows you to pick your macros and exclude foods not to your liking. It also allows you to swap meals out and provides all the info (calories, macros) to make the right selection according to your goals. I like the convenience of daily deliveries and reusable bags, which are better for the environment.
Also shoutout to their customer service team who is always quick to help!
Cons: the app is incredibly painful to use. It’s very difficult to pick a schedule if you need flexibility on days of week. I’ve been overcharged several times as a result, which Calo customer service has rectified after contacting them. Now, I usually end up contacting customer service to help me plan my schedule, which is not a great user experience. Calo, do better here!
I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the ease of transition to Calo from FFF! The app is great for customising and picking meals, scheduling last minute pauses when I travel, and we’ve never had any issues with delivery!
Being a long-term customer, the great quality food was an assumed “given” but the added menu choices and variety is really a step up: very pleased!!!
Absolutely love Calo, the meals taste amazing and save me so much time. Fresh, flavorful, and ready in minutes, healthy eating has never been this easy
Awesome meals that are catered for my dietary requirements! Saves so much time in my week and they’re so delicious!
Used to be much better food when it was “fresh fitness food“. Boxes are prettier, app is better, but food quality is worse. Everything comes with rice or cous cous – should have rebranded “Rice”.
UPDATE - they didn’t reach out like they said they would below, so I sent them this message.
Guys – I have to give you some serious feedback. Things have gone downhill since fresh fitness food. The food quality is sh1t. The meat is stringy. The salad is quite frankly disgusting – the sh1t you’d get at a canteen when they run out of food. Everything is 90% rice, couscous, pasta, potatoes or beans. I’ve just researched a few of your competitors to move – and they’re exactly the same. There’s nothing between you guys anymore. You’ve lowered your standards. Yes the box and the app is prettier but I don’t really give a sh1t about that. Also – if I don’t actively monitor what you’re sending me I get the most revolting sh1t. I didn’t check in on Friday and the stuff you’ve sent me for Monday – I’ve just thrown it all in the bin again. Completely blo*dy awful. Please for the sake of your remaining clients get your sh1t together. I just hope you’re making lots of money. There has to be some upside to all of this.
Just a reminder: your clients want delicious food. Not bulk. Not flavourless volume. I used to sit back after a meal from fresh fitness food and go – wow I feel like I’ve just been to a restaurant, that was delicious! This is why I’ve been a client for 10+ years. Now I feel like I’ve arrived at a motorway café when all the food has run out. Rice rice rice and rice. Rice anyone? Have some rice. *or couscous

I’ve been ordering healthy calorie controlled meals for a few weeks now. The quality is amazing and the service too. I love the flavour and recipes used are so innovative. Well done! 👍
Calo markets itself as a premium fresh food service, but in just a few days I’ve experienced multiple failures - misleading sign-up, late deliveries, missing items, and even a refund offer that was later retracted. For the price point, the service feels unprofessional and poor value.
When ordering, I provided my address as the first step and the app still gave me the option to select daily deliveries, which I did when choosing my meals. Only after my first box arrived was I told daily delivery isn’t available outside London, and that I’d need to accept grouped deliveries of at least three bags. This forced me to change meals I had already selected a week before.
Calo’s entire pitch is fresh, daily delivery - yet if food is sent three days in advance, it’s not truly fresh. Customers outside London are being asked to pay the same premium price for a lesser service, while Calo themselves save on transport costs.
My first order also arrived an hour late, meaning I couldn’t eat lunch as planned and the meal went to waste. Since then, meals have arrived incomplete, with sauces missing and only acknowledged via an app message after shipping.
On top of this, I was explicitly offered a refund back to my bank account, which I accepted - only for it to be retracted by a number member of their team and replaced with an offer of app credits.
I originally deleted my first review when the team reached out to resolve things, but the repeated issues since then have left me no choice but to share my honest experience.
Based on what I’ve experienced, I cannot recommend Calo … especially for anyone outside London.

Late delivery, long time to contact customer service and they put 3 cutlery for 9 meals

I’m on the custom macros plan and have been super impressed at how easy the whole process has been. I was a bit unsure at the beginning but the CX team put me in touch with their nutritionist and she helped me understand and it’s been seamless since! Having the delivery on my doorstep every morning when I wake up is also a plus.
The food is excellent. Best I have had, and I have used a number of the other companies.
I had difficulty with the delivery aspect initially, but Calo were very responsive and resolved this.
Would highly recommend.

Limited menu if you live outside London.
I don’t like chilli’s. Preferences ignored and chilli’s included in high proportion of meals on menu.
If outside London:
Delivery once a week: one days menu choice for 5 days
OR
Delivery twice a week: six days (additional charge) from two menu choices.
Not what I signed up for.
Delivered up to 12.00pm. One day behind for breakfast. Yoghurt breakfast grams off the charts for average female 🫣 Huge!
Meat protein is minced or ‘pulled’ in most meal options. Why?

Loved all of my meals and it was just such a seamless process. I would simply open my front door and receive food for the next day.
Cannot believe how efficient and flexible the whole process was. I am so impressed!
