Repeated phone calls from Calor and difficulty arranging an appointment to check out gas tank. Two separate engineers have now called and said it needs replacing. Have heard nothing about when it will be replaced. But all engineers who have called have been very efficient and pleasant to deal with

Had a gas failure (not a leak). The engineer was busy dealing with actual leaks and could not get to me that evening - perfectly reasonable I thought.
He did however guide me over the phone to reset the gas supply at the tank.
This worked and meant we had hot water and heating for the evening. He told me he would get to me next morning At 09:00 and run checks and tests to ensure there was no underlying problems. He arrived a few minutes early, completed the checks and identified low pressure at the regulator which was adjusted. Thanks Wayne Shimmon- much appreciated.

Speedy delivery. Easy to order. Excellent customer service when I had to contact them as I had missed delivery, agent saw it through till fire was delivered.

Doug was superbly helpful and everything we asked he answered with sound advice. Highly recommended

Returned to our house in Argyll after having been away for 10 days to discover we had a gas leak, upon contacting the emergency help line we were advised a engineer would be in touch shortly. Jamie the engineer assigned to our call out duly contacted us to say he was currently in Dundee but would make his way to us ASAP, and that it would be 12 midnight to 1.00 am before he could get to us. As I had shut off the emergency gas valves end vented the gas in the house , I agreed with Jamie that we could wait till the next day for him to attend as I did not feel it necessary for him to travel from Dundee to ourselves when there was no immediate issue.
Jamie arrived the next day at 10.00 and immediately put us at ease with his polite and professional manner and spent some considerable time in checking the installation and diagnosing the fault to be within our newly installed combi boiler, which he then isolated.
It was apparent to us that Jamie enjoyed his work, and his professionalism and helpfulness was a credit to Calor and having been a customer for 20 years plus I would have no hesitation in giving them top marks.

29th March 2019 Liam Young turned up at my house from the Calor Gas engineering team to investigate the replacement tank procedure.I found him to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answering all my questions.I think he said he was based in the Telford area. I have now agreed a date and asked for Liam in person to do the work for me.He is a credit to your company and I hope Calor look after their employees. All to often people critise people and companies but when praise is required people are slow in reacting to good service.Keep up the good work Liam and I look forward to seeing you on Friday 3rd of May for the new tank installation.kind regards, Tony Green

I have carried out this purchase because I have failed to find anyone who can repair my existing portable Manhatten gas fire I bought last year. I have contacted Calor Gas customer services but have had no response. So I have no option than to buy another product.

The service we received was excellent especially speed of delivery and advice on local canoe gas suppliers. Just bit surprised that the gas has to be turned off at the back not on the switch on top of the heater

Great service from beginning to end of delivery couldn’t fault this service at all. Would recommend to anyone and fire is just lovely 😊
