Recently purchased a new home from Cameron Homes and we couldn't be happier. From our initial enquiry with Jesse (and several meetings thereafter), to viewing the property with himself and the site manager Matt, the service received has been second to none. We were running on a tight timescale of when we wanted to be into our new property due to several other major life events happening around the same time period and Cameron did everything in their power to make it possible for us. Our new house is absolutely beautiful, snags have been few and far between and minor to say the least, our experience since moving in is that nothing is too much trouble, the guys on site have continued to help us in any way they can. Very pleased and would highly recommend the company.

I bought a Cameron house just over five years ago, and have been living there ever since. The quality of the home was great on entry, though there were some snags that needed to be addressed before I moved in (minor things like attention to cleaning and scuff marks on walls) - the site manager was more than happy to have a look around the house with me when I got my keys, and made sure that all of the noted items were dealt with before I actually moved in. I've never had a reason to contact customer service since, and have been more than happy in my home, I would definitely buy from Cameron Homes again!

Prospective homebuyers need to be aware of the myriad issues I've faced with Cameron Homes, painting a vivid picture of the challenges you might encounter.
The saga began with a gaping hole in the fence, conveniently blamed on the neighboring property. It took three months of persistence to get Cameron Homes to acknowledge their mistake and address the issue. This initial lack of accountability set the tone for the rest of my experience.
The inconsistency in skirting board thickness throughout the entire house is not just a cosmetic flaw; it reflects a fundamental lack of attention to detail in their construction. It's disheartening to move into a new build property only to discover such basic errors.
The kitchen, a central hub of any home, was shockingly glued together, revealing a lack of craftsmanship and professionalism. Replacing it became a costly necessity, as the original construction was nothing short of a disaster.
Latex removal was left incomplete in one of the rooms, requiring additional intervention before the underlay for the floor could be properly laid. This oversight on their part caused unnecessary delays and disruptions to the moving-in process.
Even basic features like the bath overflow were mishandled, showcasing a lack of precision and care in their work. The water level, just 40mm from the floor, rendered the bath experience far from what one would expect in a newly constructed home.
Half-painted doors may seem like a minor issue, but they underscore a lack of commitment to quality. It's a visible reminder that once the property is handed over, the company's attention to detail dwindles.
The most alarming revelation came with a major leak from the upstairs bathroom. Their plumbers, admitting fault over a year later, cited incomplete installations. Despite early reporting of the issue, Cameron Homes is now conveniently avoiding responsibility, leaving me to bear the financial burden of fixing their mistakes.
This leak has caused severe structural damage to walls and ceilings, and the company's refusal to rectify the situation is both frustrating and unjust. Homebuyers should approach Cameron Homes with caution, armed with the knowledge that the company might not stand behind their work when issues arise. If you're contemplating a purchase with them, feel free to reach out for detailed photos and a firsthand account of the challenges I've faced.
